Fun fact: Arcana Force actually *retroactively* became a Jojo reference because the character who played the deck in the GX anime was voiced by the actor who would only later go on to voice Dio. He came back for Duel Links and he Dio-fied his performance compared to what he sounded like during GX's original anime run
The World’s effect is straight up the closest we can get to the stands effect, so I’m willing to bet that ISNT a coincidence considering how tier 0 Jojo is in Japan

Waboku was life insurance too 😂 we battle (unlike threatening roar, and use aggressively on my turn), nobody gets harmed, I can chain to removal, and I tag out. But yes war chariot wrecks monster effects. 7:50 Kuraz was great with premature burial/call of the haunted to draw 2 (and it's controller so change of heart and the like let you draw, not the owner).
though I am making mostly goat format videos, I am also playing this format with my friends for quite a while. And it is awesome. I remember the finals of my nationals that year and it has been so much fun exploring this format. I´d argue that this format because of its shortness and emergency ban list was never as deeply explored as could have been. nowadays people think of gladiator beasts as the best deck of this format. I´d argue its top for sure, but the best? I dont know about that. I now have seen decks and builds that are quite crazy and good. I have seen destiny end dragon builds with DAD. Or builds focussed around banishing with necroface, gold sacrophagus and other crazy stuff. I have seen prime material lights worn. I have seen dark world DAD Turbo. I have seen frog loop decks with substitoad poison draw frog and exodius.i have even seen big city 3... and honestly u can find quite a great balance between DAD turbo and DAD control. using more d.d. crows and having multiple plasma in deck and also main decking stuff like soul release instead of prometheus. also having doom caliber in side makes so many decks miserable. all in all there are so many decks in this format still out, its just amazing. and I feel like a lot can be really really good. I feel like DAD struggled to know what they wanted to do after their hits in this time. They were testing new ways to play the deck, while gladis were straight focussed and on fire. thats why they had the edge back then.
