The more I watch the show as an adult the more I see Victor wasn't the only one who was wrong. Grams made horrendous choices for the girls and it's like it's fine
Part of the reason Victor left, the blame has to go to Penny. They had a relationship similar to Bewitched Darrin and Endora. He wanted to protect his girls from the dangers out there. But I see Penny’s view point. Without magic and being without knowledge, they would b vulnerable just like everybody else. Plus by Victor’s point, their families magic is the most desirable for a bigger target 🎯 on their backs.
@@kingbey9500not really. He didn’t want the girls to know about magic altogether. Grams binded their powers because of patty. Remember she made that deal with Nicholas and grams couldn’t stop it the only way was to bind the girls powers and hope they come together to become the charmed ones
Glad they had the whole father/daughter storyline run for a few episodes, it gave a chance to clear the air, repair relationships and get their dad in on the action
Grams was solely the blame for Victor not being in his daughters lives. She pushed him out because she didn’t like that he was mortal and felt he couldn’t protect them from the magical likes of the world. She was wrong. PERIOD!
I really *HATE* how Grams pushed Victor out of the sisters' lives. Grams was not only a misandrist, she held non Witches in contempt. Especially, Victor for being a mortal who wouldn't fall in line. It's like she couldn't fathom how the Charmed Ones could have a mortal father AND one who would put their lives over the magic. Loved Grams but she made some TRULY questionable decisions and judged people wrongly alot.
But she was also right. She knew that this life isn't for mortals. She lost the love of her life, their grandfather, because of a demon. Would it be better if Victor would have died when girls were a little?
I always loved the episodes where other family members are involved. It just adds another layer to the show. Especially the flashback episode, where Grams died and all of them were living in the manor.
Their grandmother drove him away from what I understood for not being magic, being a guy, and being cautious of their magical enemies. The fact that Patty also cheated on him with her whitelighter definitely didn't help.
I just wish they brought Victor back in season 2 and used him more for an arc to rebuild his relationship with his daughters and probably introduce more relatives from both sides the family like Aunt Gale and her coven.
At the end he was always right , he was scared he would lose them thats why he left them , and when he came back prue died 😢😢 it happens what he fears the most
*🚨~SPOILER ALERT~🚨* *Please do not read if you're a fan and you haven't watched the episode yet. Thank You.😊😊* I remember this episode. An ice cream truck that sucks up little kids to be *taken* by a black thing that comes down from the sky in the truck. Here's the kicker though. The kids that the truck would take were young demons. So in a way, the truck wasn't good or evil. It's main function was to get rid of the little buggers but unfortunately, from time to time, innocent children and people would be taken too. Like Prue was when she was little.
She was arrogant, she was angry! When you don't want to face rejection you use anger! She was the oldest, she was there when her mom died, she had to take care of her sisters! They all needed their dad!
@@michellec5407yeah but part of the blame goes to Grams and she never got any anger towards her. Victor loves his daughters and made wrong choices but so did Grams and she suffered no consecuences

@@michellec5407i actually don't understand this. She was 8 years old when their mom died. How could she take care of her two younger sister? Or what more she had to do than what other older siblings usually do?

After that, Patty fell in love with Sam, who was a white-lighter at the time and gave then birth to Paige.

She still ended up binding their powers. So he was right.

grams was far from perfect.. she made so may mistakes "arrogance" yes she was 2 blame 4 sure and other things as well

Handsome dad.
always loved that actor who played Victor.
First one who played Victor was a little to suspicious, he has a shady energy, glad they let him go

did they ever confront their grams about this? I'd be mad as hell, like learning how to banish a ghost type angry
unlikely.. she was long dead by time he returned...
@@larryfrazier5925 yeah but she comes back all the time as a ghost.
He wanted to protect his daughters so he...left. yeah. Good job, Vic.
😂😂😂😂
Grams pushed him out, saying he was incapable of doing it and if he didnt go, she'd do something to make him. so he left.
😂😂😂
typical woman. Sees a man make a bade judgment call and automatically crucifies him without looking at the context why he left. Good job, Elen.
