I do get the point is Natalie is doing her job, but she got more and more bossy as the episode went on. It's all well and good for the elders and whitelighters to have their rules and structure but life is messy. They don't have to juggle double lives like the Charmed Ones. They just do their job and that's it. The sisters have to live their lives, do their jobs, in Phoebe's case at this point study, pay bills, look after themselves and so on. Do all of that on top of saving innocents. They didn't get any formal training at the start, they were dropped into the deep end and had to work things out for themselves. Leo may not be perfect but at least he is more in touch with humanity and has more awareness of what the Sisters have to juggle.
They never had any training, but when someone tried to do it they got bitchy, besides they wouldn't take rational critique, what Natalie said is exactly what got Prue killed
@@tatianasalazar4066 Sometimes it's all about approach. If formal training was offered to them in a less critical way compared to how Natalie came across. They probably would be a bit more open to it. As far as the Sisters were concerned, Natalie was basically saying "Everything you're doing is wrong, so do it my way." No consideration for the fact that the sisters had no choice but to work it out themselves. And if anything the fact Natalie was too by the book, made her actions too predictable to the demon they're facing who has had years of studying whitelighter habits and behavior.

She chastised Leo for eating the food that Piper prepared and choosing to heal Piper‘s finger. She also chastised the girls for keeping their Book of Shadows in the attic. Never mind the fact that the book protects itself.

When Natalie said the Book should be in a alter room, I was like "Yeah the only people who have alter rooms that are not in a church are people in cults. That definitely won't cause suspicion or fly under the radar in the modern world." Which sort of goes back to my point the the elders and whitelighters are a bit out of touch when it comes to everyday life and what the Sisters go through while being witches. They were all complete brats in this episode. They were really cocky in the 3rd season and it led to Prue's death. Also why Prue acting like not a few episodes ago she had go bags for them with gym shoes in them for this EXACT reason 😂
The sartorial comment always gets me. But she's not wrong still. In combat, you need to be able to move. Especially for the sisters, if their powers stop working or prove ineffective. The fewer the hindrances, the better. But then again, from our perspectives, the sisters never have to really worry too much. Because they have the ultimate protection - PLOT ARMOR!
I don't understand the plot armor comment. Are the main characters supposed to be immediately killed off as soon as the show starts to prove they don't have plot armor?
yes, they generally must constantly train and learn to cope without strength, train their reaction, know how to take a knife away from a sorcerer. In general, for good reason, they should carry a pistol that can be enchanted against demons

That's right, he could easily kill another darklighter one and take his crossbow. they had to prepare to destroy the sorcerer and Natalie would have remained alive
But she was right because the danger was him killing whitelighters also I doubt its really easy to find a darklighter? Plus a demon killed one of them and we know when it comes down to it, both sides talk to each other. Darklighters probably went into hiding too.
@@BlackGirlMarvel Well, it just seems to me that even if they take away the crossbow, the real one, and not his, this sorcerer could eventually simply hide, wait somewhere and look for another darklighter after a while. And kill him again, take the crossbow, and then they will have the same problems. In general, this sorcerer is really dangerous, if he had help, for example, a source would give him a crossbow, then it would be interesting
The charmed ones are unbearable in this episode (Natalie too), as they were against Tuatha, but in a way, it gives coherence to the plot: they have become arrogant, overconfident and reckless, and this attitude naturally leads to Prue's death.

Prue died because the actress got fired, the writers then made a stupid way for her die, when both Prue and Piper were hit. Why is no one saying the same about Piper? Oh that’s right because they didn’t fire her!
But training could help them. We see by the end of the series they all begin to learn how to fight. If Natalie had been their whitelighter, they honestly wouldve been better witches.

Natalie is a lot more patient than I would be lol. The Charmed Ones were very disrespectful in this episode and should have been put in their place.
Natalie giving them militaristic training but her original charge didn't even last 5 minutes and gets stabbed and killed. 🫡
