    Can't wait to see him and Lauri play together! His post-game/footwork is soooo nice already...he'll transition to the NBA well and will be one of those guys who consistently puts up 15 and 10 over his career. Great pick

    Wendell Carter Jr. Can Be A Very Solid Player In The League has great touch for a big and can rebound should be an interesting prospect 💯

    • @Humble_808
      @Humble_808 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      He is also an over-average passer when it comes to bigman...something like Al Horford.

    He can definitely be an all star center especially in the east ... he definitely can be just as good or quite better than an Al Horford

    • @Fent-
      @Fent- 6 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Kyle Ferguson quite better? Probably not

    • @Humble_808
      @Humble_808 6 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      YRN TJ Wendell Carter is a 6'10 PF with a 7'4 wingspan that can stretch the floor and can be a defensive anchor....he can also be a post-playmaker....Does that remind you of somebody?

    • @Fent-
      @Fent- 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      sWampY Colin Sexton is a 6’3 ultra athletic point guard, that doesn’t mean he’s gonna be better than John Wall.

    Sense getting to Orlando. He has improved. Avg a double double last season. This year Carter, Wagner, and Paolo. Is going to be a great trio in the front court. They all can pass. They all can shoot the three. They all can create their own shots. They all should clean the glass. I'm excited.

    One of the safest prospects in this class. He may not ever be an all star but he'll be in the NBA for 10-12 years, play at a high level, and help teams win. Really reminds me of Derrick Favors of the Jazz.

    • @iSkiZm24
      @iSkiZm24 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    perimeter D is crucial for bigs today. weak finish is however not a big problem. Also, his talent cant support him to be the 1st option in a decent team, so no worries for the third weakness. He can be a upgraded Al Horford at best, an axis big and 2nd option on weaker teams or 3rd option on contenders. definitely worth a top 8 pick.

    You can really tell why most these commentators know very little about talent and understanding what to look for in players. Wendell is a absolute stud especially in today’s game. He can bang down low as well as shoot the ball, he hustles for boards and cleans the glass, and he can protect the rim very well. His weaknesses are confidence and Perimeter defense? Do you realize how easy that is to fix? This kid will be a steal if he falls out of the top 10.

    • @Storyofarose
      @Storyofarose 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alex Hall Trae Young might end up with the Cavs or MJP if he’s still available. Wendall and KP would make it hard to score down low against them

  • @RandomGamer504

    I love duke in all most every game and he should stay one more year in college he is clumsy. Bagley is the reason why most of the time he got to take advantage of a matchup.

    • @Storyofarose
      @Storyofarose 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kody N. Felix Bagley Defense is reason why we lost to Kansas

    • @mike2687
      @mike2687 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Clumsy? He was the most fundamentally sound player duke had last year and he played more under control than most--only Trent Jr. had fewer TO's per game than him. Another year would've been good for any player but not needed and the fact that an injury could hurt him greatly for next year's draft meant leaving was a good decision.

    • @mike2687
      @mike2687 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      He didn't disappear--he was out of rhythm and on the bench due to foul trouble for more than half the game... actually played very well down the stretch. But that's the nature of a quick 40 minutes single elimination game style tournament. As for the reason for that loss, it was more about Allen going 2-9 and Trent 2-10 from beyond the arc--many were wide open. Also, and I say this as a Duke fan, credit Newman for having a monster second half, Mykhailiuk hitting that clutch three--Duke probably wins if that doesn't fall.

    • @mike2687
      @mike2687 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      like I said, missed over half the game for foul trouble and never got into rhythm as was back on the bench just as the game began. His fault--they were correctly called fouls. And yes, Duke was out rebounded by a wide margin in that game--small ball with three guards jacking up 36 treys means a ton of lone rebounds outside the post. UNC also played small ball and he had two good games and one mediocre one as the second option in the post--gotta remember, Bagley had great games against them which limited Carter's usage for nearly the entire season. We'll see how things work or don't work in Chicago.

  • @iSkiZm24
    @iSkiZm24 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think he is Al Horfod. Neither are flashy but get the job done. Both are C/PFs who are good passers' out of the post. Carter's 3pt shot is much more developed than Horford's was coming out of Florida. If he can be anywhere near as good as Al, he will be a steal and he def could be better, but saying Al Horford is his ceiling isn't bad at all.

      Deluded, basic, Chicago bulls fans see little Facebook post from 13 year olds claiming a handicap by the name of MPJ is worth our 7th pick. Now these very basic fans think a cripple is the savior to a team that has had crippled stars for the past decade.

      Jesus samurai I hope you know not all Bulls fans are like that. I don't know if you intended your message to be interpreted like that, but I can assure you we all don't think like that. I'm actually pretty happy with the Bulls picking Wendell, and Hutchinson too. I am quite concerned with MPJ's back and hip injuries. It's a reason 13 teams passed up on him.

      Well, he's 6'8.75"... but it's funny how guys go from 6'10" in HS and college, drop at the NBA combine and then are magically 6'10" again once on an NBA roster. It makes me wonder how many true 7 footers are actually out there!
