Ironman sacrificing his life to erase Thanos and his entire armada is probably the most satisfying moment in the marvel. He finally got rid of all the nightmares and demons, and now he can sleep peacefully.
It was pretty cool. Never saw any of these until recently. They were really good. Captain America always harping on Stark because he thinks Stark is selfish and would never put others before him, that made this moment really cool even though Stark constantly puts himself in harms way for others. He showed that several times throughout the Avenger movies and in the Civil War movie too. He even told the ones on his team to take it easy on their friends.
But he’s dead now
Actually, they all should have been dead and and thanos should have reset the multiverse because there is nobody left to kill for mistress death.
Demons?????💀💀
@@miguelvargas6685 didn’t you watch Ironman 3💀
Pepper is so great here and it's completely real for her character. She's calm and collected when she verifies with Friday that this is it for Tony. She uses the last few moments with her life partner to tell him what HE needs to hear. And saves the tears for after he's gone. Just such a beautiful display of unselfishness and leadership.
This exactly describes her character and i love her for this. It was so amazing to see her show up with her own modified suit stark made for her and now because of Tony's sacrfice she is more than strong enough to protect and carry his legend. Stark knew this and even said in his dying breath "the kid" most likely hinting Morgan Stark will carry on his legacy. Everything is beautiful and what you said i agree and is so true, thank you for this comment
she was the only person that could understand tony completely, because she was the only person who had to experience loving tony despite his desperate drive to put himself in the firing line for the sake of humanity, them getting back together and then him being lost in space after the snap probably just made her except that she probably wouldn’t have him around for much longer so she should just make the most of the time they had, thus, they had morgan
Thanks to the russos for made Pepper a vital role in Endgame
yes very well made this part. warmachine and spiderman acting out from their need to have tony. pepper gave him what tony wanted. what do you give a man who has everything. their dynamic is very well constructed in the movies.
And without her, Tony would have kept fighting to stay alive regardless of how horrible his situation was. He would have clung on, even in unbelievable pain because he believed he was still needed to save everyone.
I love that his passing isn't the usual dramatic hero's death. Its quiet, peaceful even. With the only sign that showed that Tony is gone is the simple visualization of his arc reactor's light, his heart, fading away

I like the fact that Rhody was the first one to find him. They both exchange a slight smirk, and Rhody is proud of his friend, but you can see in his face that he knows Tony is dying. He originally found a near dead Tony Stark on his way to becoming Iron Man, and it ends with him finding a near dead Tony Stark fulling his destiny as Iron Man. Peter and Pepper are both equally heartbreaking seeing their different reactions to Tony dying, but I don't think enough people talk about James. Tony's best friend, who says nothing with words, but conveys everything with a simple gesture and facial expressions.

Did he? I haven't seen the full movie without getting interrupted yet. I read somewhere it was just tony's advanced tech that it could adapt to other systems, I guess hack/assimilate controls, so it was actually his armor fusing to the gems since in the movie marvel universe magic is just another form of technology. (Whether that's true in all cases I'm not sure but, I did read mutliple times people talkking as if, for example, asgardian magic was really just asgardian tech. Which tbh I don't think fits with marvel well at all with so many characters like Majik, Strange, Ghost Rider, just to name a few).
You sure? Seemed like he just made his suit adapt because it is made of nano machines. Basically he can shape it like clay.

I love how Iron Man faced his horrors with this fight. He turned from severe PTSD to this cold Analytical genius in combat. RDJ was on spot with his acting, reflecting he was still afraid at the time of dying - the horror he was afraid of got him in that situation and died facing it.
Still, he is being praised until the very end for his courage and deeds, but everyone knows he died with a face of fear and otherworldly astonishment.
It's the fact that in spite of his fear, he still HAD the courage to do what he had to to win.
Yet didn't have the brains to just remote fire the gauntlet using his armor similar to how thantaos had triggered it when his arm cut off, and fried himself so we could get a self sacrifice trope for one of marvels most selfish characters. Endgame just has a finality to it that I just can't get passed no matter how many movies I've seen that followed after it. To me Endgame was like when you finally finish the big meal, while what comes after it is that apple pie for dessert. The apple pie was good yes, but your stomach was full after the main course. In the movie our whole universe was at risk. Fictional alternate universes just don't hold nearly as much weight. They're not ours.
This comment is excellently written, I really like your last sentence about fictional alternate universes. I couldn't agree more with that statement. Having one universe to focus on, particularly ours, is a lot easier and more impactful to us than a series of alternate ones. I also feel as though alternate universes make things more confusing than necessary. They feel like a cop-out because if something tragic happens, such as Iron Man's death here, you can just ignore it by showing there's another universe where he lives.
I was quite satisfied with this ending to the Infinity Saga, so much so to the point where I didn't really care for the "apple pies" that followed afterwards lol. Perhaps that's because I'm actually not much of a dessert nor sweets person, or that those apple pies were distasteful and underwhelming. Maybe it's both.
@@bahlahkayy Thanks for the comment. The only ones after Endgame that I enjoyed were No Way Home, Multiverse of Madness, and Gotg 3. I feel like Feige should have stopped after Endgame for lack of creative reasons, but we know money talks.
Plot twist:Strange had a vision of one universe in which Tony Stark became Doctor Doom.
Tony and Natasha both Sacrificed but the dialogue of Iron man is what makes this scene Epic....."I am Iron Man"
That’s the last line he said in the movie of 2008 iron man and those would be his last words in the final battle against Thanos.
The moment that Steve rogers starts to cry, hits hard cause before he said “your not the kinda guy to lay down his life for his friends” he was proven wrong
"You can rest now".
The only time in my 40 years life I have had a greater emotional response to 4 words is when my brother said "Benny, mom is dead."
Im Sorry for your loss
Dr. Strange knew in this moment this was the 1 in 14,000,605 ❤
5 years later, still my all time favorite comic book movie… perfect and emotionally powerful conclusion and culmination of 11 yrs and 22 movies. WE LOVE YOU 3000 IRON MAN
When you realized Doctor Strange could've revived Iron Man with the Time Stone.
But that would’ve undid the snap and then Thanos would be revived as well
@@hoodermoment1365 i think the timestone user can just pick whats or whos time is influenced, just like with the apple yk. so he couldve only reversed time for tony and everything else would still be as it was.
@@WyRich maybe, but then the plot would be messed up
@@hoodermoment1365 yea obviously... that isnt the point here though...
you cant undo something done with the power of all the stones without using the power of all the stones. In other words, they would have needed to use the power of the time stone with the completed infinity gauntlet to undo iron mans death. the injuries caused by wielding the combined power of the stones, is what killed him. to undo that, you would need the power of all the stones to undo the damages.
if it were that easy, they couldve just used the time stone to undo the snap instead of having to go on a time heist and collect every stone individually. and if it were that easy dont you think they wouldve just done that lol
once thanos saw that he was outsmarted by tony who secretly had a gauntlet of his own all he could do is just look on, didnt charge at tony to stop him from snapping his finger. he knew right then and there that thats what it was
a man with no powers just big brains and still defeats thanos and saved the world
His intelligence WAS his power
Imagine telling someone who just watched this in theaters of what will happen 5 years later. 💀
Bro got the command block 0:48
Just put /kill @p [type=player,Thanos]🤣😅😊🤣
The reason Dr Strange didnt say anything is because he saw the outcome where he did say what happens to Stark and by doing so Thanos won. So by saying nothing they won instead. Basically by saying something and doom everyone, or say nothing and Tony dies and saves everyone in the process.
@fook yu he knew it was either this or doom is all
It also explains why he gave the stone up in Infinity War. Tony is the only way Thanos loses
It's kinda bull. Even if strange checks 500 billion realities that's just a drop in the hat vs. infinity. He had the time stone and he looke for a few seconds by speeding up time. he didn't have to speed up time, he could have stopped time for himself and litterally spent the equivalent of quadrillions of eon's looking, and all we would have seen was a blink on the screen. They had other choices and just didn't explore them. It's a cheap way of trying to lock in this tear jerker ending without people pointing all of the other obvious choices. Boil it down and be real. There were other options, Strange didn't keep looking. It's just the authors plot mechanic to keep people from poking holes in his objectives with how he wanted to martyr stark and get a tear jerker ending for the character he chose to rewrite into one a little better than what it is in the comics.
