- It's the turn of the century. The old ways are coming to an end. In an era where civilization is rapidly growing around the wild and untamed frontier, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang must fight to survive against federal agents, bounty hunters, and rival outlaws while on the run across the American heartlands.
This is a fanmade story trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2. My goal was to cover the huge narrative without losing traction within the edit itself. RDR2 is a huge game with many characters and subplots, so I decided to focus on the dynamic between Arthur and Dutch without spoiling any direct storybeats.

You pulled it off yet again. This is the best fan-trailer I've ever seen PERIOD! It summarizes the game's two moods; honorable sense of loyalty and the utter desperation without spoiling anything or losing sight of the main plot beats, it's cinematic like a movie trailer and my god, is the choice of music with each transition is perfect.
Also the cinematic camera mod might just be the best tool for RDR edits creators yet.
Thanks! It was a huge time-consuming challenge to put it together, but I think I got the result I wanted. And the cinematic camera mod is amazing, especially considering RDR2 never got its own R* Editor.
@@Captain_Punch I can only imagine how much a video like this takes but all the time and effort more than payed off imo. And yeah, the cinematic camera mod is the next best thing since RDR2 doesn't have a R* Editor, that's probably the most accurate description of that situation.

Geez this was f*cking amazing! Great job bro. Recently also made a trailer of rdr2 myself but in the style of the stranger things 4 trailer (haven't posted it yet tho and kinda still in the unsure stage, checking stuff like audio and quality). The thing is that I'm using sharefactory on ps4 and the quality of some of the footage and audio isn't too great and maybe I could've added or changed and done some things differently. Was wondering if I could potentially borrow/use some of your footage (maybe a bit for my trailer and maybe in some other stuff I may decide to make in the future) if that isnt too much to ask and I'll make sure to credit you where and when I can. Anyways it's alright if you can't but besides that, again great job on this and hope u keep at it, i just wish we had mods like this and in general on console for rdr2 so I could make some of the cool stuff like you did in this on my own (also damn didnt mean to make this this long my bad)

I was messing around with a cinematic ReShade for the first time when I made this. I wasn't familiar with any of the settings and opted to go with this preset because it had a strong depth of field effect. If I could go back in time I would remove the filter but keep the DoF. Anyways, thanks. Consider subbing to my channel because right now I'm working on a massive RDR2 cinematic project that should be released soon. I will be the best RDR2 edit of all time, so make sure not to miss it!
