A rather severe shortcoming of the product is the apparent lack of averaging in the spectrum display. As shown, it's extremely difficult if not impossible to see a weak signal because of all the visual activity caused by band noise. Averaging would reduce the band noise to almost a flat level, allowing the signals to pop out above the noise floor. If you're using the software as a panadaptor, that's very important. See the spectrum scope on the Icom 7610 to see how much averaging can improve the display.
I am sorry for the bad audio, but I didn't have any other microphones available to me at that time. In my new videos (soon, I promise) I will have a much better and clearer audio system.

@@LopastudioI understood you perfectly. It wasn't audiophile material, but everything was intelligible.

Superb and comprehensive guide to SDR++ Well done, I prefer SDR++ over other SDR software packages. 73.
Glad it was helpful!
When I select RTL-SDR , second option didn't fill automatically. What is problem?
Great Video. Thank you. Quick question, Have you a preferred antenna setup/configuration?
Hi, I don't understand your question, could you clarify it more? Are you talking about the antennas outside or a software configuration?
@@LopastudioThe antenna you prefer or found useful. I was planning on just connecting to various antennas i have for UHF/VHF/HF as a HAM.
@@russm2690Oh yes, now I understand, and I can try to make a video on that. So hopefully this Friday or earlier :)
Seems simple enough.
Difficult to understand - very bad audio
