No sun needs shoveling here in Phoenix. A bit of a chill, but layers help. I took a ride up South Mountain for lunch yesterday. The most curves in the county 10 minutes from my door. Elevation changes from 710 feet as I enter the preserve to 2160 feet at Dobson's Lookout. The majority of Phoenix is straight roads, mainly flat and laid out in a grid, so it's a nice break from dashing between red lights. BTDT with winter being a Michigan native and I do feel for your downtime. Just keep in mind how glorious that first ride this spring will be. When it's 120 here and I'm melting, feel free to rub some salt in, it's only fair. Great timing Chip. I was wondering how you were doing just yesterday. I would love to ride out ur way sounds amazing. I'm doing well helping my mother through cancer treatment. She is doing very well and we r blessed. Man do I miss riding. Have an incredible yr end and stay safe.
Since you're into RC . How about building 10th scale RC Ryker from scratch ! That'll take you thru the winter and be a fun project . Make kits and sell them . Then you can REALLY customize them. Go wild for sure . On a 10 scale .
Hey Chip, Havent commented in a while, Hope you are doing well. I had to comment on this one. I live in Minnesota and our high temps lately are 0 to teens, Over Christmas we were below zero with -33 windchills. This week we got 14 inches of snow ontop of the 8 inches the week before, So I wont be riding until April if im lucky. I want to ride so Bad!!!

Our weather in NC is fickle so it’s a hit or miss so I’m able to ride it a day and let the Ryker sit off and on ☹️
