Dear Thay. You live on through these wonderfully supportive videos sharing your wisdom. I have many of your books but I derive tremendous benefit from seeing and hearing your gentle comforting words. Such simplicity of expression with great depth of meaning. I shall try to see through ‘eyes of signlessness’ to help me ride my waves of grief. I look at clouds now with joy and love. Thank you Plum Village for showing and sharing Thay’s videos with us. 💜🙏
I see my cloud in the rain. It's making a coconut. I climb high . Ride the lightning. Taste the nectar..get back the ground an drink the dew. The taller the tree ..as much as my heart feels ouch...the more that challenging climb..theore more that same cloud washes my heart clean an tastes so good. I sail on a coconut tree I find that peace...it's the perfect place for me to be far away from problems. I don't fear heights from out of body experience. I feel safe at heights.. I get that peace in a coconut tree waaaaaay up. It helps me let go of suffering while my hands are firmly gripped for life. Give thanks for life!!
I get the tears of joy an sorrow of my ancestors all wrapped up in that cloud an found in still in the center of coconut. I know it's the water everywhere the springs too. Eternal remedies in those cloud
What a beautiful and simple imagery he uses to explain complex concepts! Many times we don’t see what evidently IS there, but in another form. Thank you Tich Nhat for so many vital teachings! ❤
How certain this video is at this very moment. I bet the last news touched the memories, and this memory shined and came back to life after all this time stored. I embrace it mindfully. Thank you Plum Village. May we all be together in our attentions with love and care.
The form we are does disappear and for me it is hard to give up this way of being. Since this is inevitable I am glad to accept the constant change instead the final forever total end as change. It scroll hard not to have our loved ones around as we learned to know them.
Only the “I” is born, ages, gets, ill, and dies. The “I” is born, and immediately begins to age, at each moment of sensory contact when desire arises in response to that contact. The “I” is a storyline.
7:56 The birth of something is always the death of something is always the birth of something. The death of a cloud, is the birth of the rain. If the cloud does not die, then how can the rain be born? (This would be an example of conventional truth)

I didn’t want you to transform just yet. I wanted it to be later. So, I’m sad.
but we have to accept impermanence, he says.
