Choose any real region from the world. Choose your base of operations, then rebuild and readapt the buildings around you to create a self-sustaining settlement. Take charge of a group of survivors from your city. And when the night falls - Defend the zone from the infected!

Small tip: The first person in the squad is the driver and does not shoot from inside of the car, so don't give them the best weapon since they will only use it unmounted. Also if you find first aid kits you can drag it over the character to instantly heal.

Enjoying this run a lot - it makes a change seeing a run in the suburbs where resources are scarcer than in a big metropolis region.
This may be just me, but I have found it's much better to create Greenhouses than Farms because you don't get the output debuff in the Cold. Once you have researched fertilizer tech, your farms/greenhouses output 9 grain per cycle instead of the usual 4. 10-12 will feed your population indefinitely with a few barns (to produce meat & fertilizer) and a large cookhouse.....

My biggest gripe is the farms rotating back to original orientation. So frustrating to maximise coverage.

Yea, the farms are infuriating when they spin too quick LOL
@@TheOnlyL0nzY you can hold m1 and place several fields at once, all lined up =) and i highly recommend the green house (or whatever they are called) farming in cold weather, a blessing. BUT maybe you are already there, i just started the series xD
