Pentatonix is like a fine wine, they get even better over time. The benchmark was already very high. The various elements of harmony, costumes, backdrop are top notch. I appreciate how you dissect the sound production. Yes, we will have a Merry Little Christmas. Thank you Jeffrey.
This is one of my favorite Christmas songs from Voiceplay, I love the doo wop. Another one from them is The First Noel. It's even older, about 9 years old, but it is wonderful!! Speaking of the cinematography - they are in Orlando, I hope the air conditioning was working!
What's really interesting about this song, is that an earlier version of Voiceplay, with Tony Wakim (pre J. None), did a very similar version of this on their album "Peppermint Winter." And then they did it with J. None. Both are fantastic! Also, while there are very few videos from "Peppermint Winter," some of the songs can be found on TH-cam. Like "Santa And I Know It" which is freaking hilarious.
