at the five minute mark, the sweet spot of the song begins. this is where her music is born. her music seems to be birthed from some audio sweet spot found in between coffee shops and drive-in movie theaters. anyhow, in most sports, and pretty much the practice of zen is about capturing the feel and in essence finding the sweet spot of whatever it is you are doing. at exactly 5:15 she hits the sweetest spot i've ever heard her record. which is really saying a lot because i think of her as having mutant powers (her mutant name being Sweetspot) anyways. That portion of the song is like when you get the Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls, and you bake them, and then you put the icing on them. And the one in the center is always the sweetest, and that's the one you want. The middle is always the best one, and its the ooeyest, gooeyest, chewyest, meltyest, and everyone wants it. Rarely does it happen, but it does happen, where all of the cinnamon rolls cook just right, like cookies that aren't too hard or under cooked. It's just right. That note she hits at that point in the song, is exactly in the middle and it's that cinnamon roll in the middle. I feel like Homer when he drools eating donuts, as I sit here and run it back, and loop those few seconds eating the middle cinnamon roll Sweetspot eargasm. she effortlessly flashes a quick half sweet spot smile, like she knows she just used her powers.
