@@gwg2813 'Hiya Doc..👋😎..If on a mobile gadget..simply download the file(depending on space of course,or DL onto a laptop or through a USB that can plug into gadget)..not quite sure how much GB storage you'll need on USB to hold the entire file though,10 hours is pretty big methinks,but USB's are cheap👍😉,take USB and plug into handheld device then just go to your normal music location where tunes and other files are,scroll for USB..press on the screen find track and enjoy for as long as you have charge..or, you can do what I do sometimes.Sit in a Mc Donalds and pretend to eat the cardboard food they sell and use a recharge cable wall plug..or somewhere similar that has same..and rest very happily and sonorously while chilling to wonderful creepy war mesmer for as long as ya wish.This sound stuff can be ambient addictive for some,or flashback nightmare creating fer others,ya just have to know that it is a soundtrack and not reality.As a young lad I used to live close to a army gunfire range and warfare training ground..so war sounds are almost like a weird lullaby that send me off to dreamscape..or the odd nightmare on occassion,just depends on the type O' day one has after serving driving a Bucket(M-113)for a few years in reality in the Aussie Lighthorse..tank and vehicle and thrumming engines also send me off ta visit the Rainbow Serpent in dreamtime.😪 But justabout any ambient soundtracking can be good for calming certain human moods or sleeping to ,so ya don't have to always listen to hippie meditation yoga whale song or birds and rain falling to become restful hey. I fell sound asleep like a baby in a B-17G bombing raid over Berlin that was 3 hours of thrumming Wright cyclone,and Pratt n Whitney engines mixed with Flak gunfire and the odd 50cal staccato last week..best rest in a month. Hope I assisted in a way my friend👍..I do tend to prattle on when sleep or caffeine deprived.😨😁😅..Time fer lights out here and to press play on..??..😞hmmmm??..maybe..Eastern Front Distant winter fighting? Who knows!??..So many ambience soundtracks to choose from nowadays.Keep A' Doctorin Dr Robotnik..and always do the thangs that make yer grin.'

I think is very "soft" for a w40k batllefield. Theres no people screaming even.

I feel like this is a seige on a heretic occupied bunker by some imperial forces that just happened to be moving through the area (the sound we’re hearing is from the perspective of the heretics within the bunker) ... I explained it more in another comment on the video.

If you listen to it long enough, your brain essentially treats it as static since the sounds are somewhat looped.

i listen to STALKER-series ambience.
my theory is that it is a simpler world in straight out bloody conflict than in treacherous peacetimes where everyone might want to trick you or rob you while everyone around pretends everything's fine.
in war you know who you're fighting and you can rely on your mates, while in peacetime so many things are just so fake.

With the amount of skimmers easily heard, I would have to say this is likely a fight between the Imperium, and either the forces of the Eldar, or the Tau. Orks are not well known for their skimmers, but being that they are Orks, it would make sense if they had one or two, but not the recognizable count here. Another thing that points to the correct combatants, the lighter "Crack" of the clearly enemy firearms, is closer to what the Pulse weapons of the Tau would be making, Imperial Lasguns have a sharper and more robust "Crack" to them, where as Tau pulse weapons are lighter and harder to detect.

TH-cam has EVERYTHING! I search 'sounds of war' and TH-cam responds 'what genre?' [jaw drop]. I was looking for background sound while playing 'Bataille Decisive' from Evangelion. Great.
Pro tip: Have 4 tabs running this at different spots to have a full on battlefield. The more tabs the bigger the battle, try mixing with other battlefield ambiences.

Sporadic and broken fighting in mist engulfs the world of Tetris Prime. The Imperial guard has been reduced to slogging through thickest fog and mud. The heretics soar above, strafing and bombing them as they advance. Artillery pounds the heretics from behind the line, but the fog makes it inaccurate. Shells blast mere feet ahead of some guardsmen, knocking them down in the muck.

i like to think most of these sounds would be far off from your position while the bunker your in is letting off some rounds every now and again but the sheer force from these weapons in the battles epicenter causes them to sound as if they are right on you

You know what would make this better IMO? If you occasionally threw the foghorn sound of the tripods from War of the Worlds into the background occasionally throughout the video to represent the distant blaring of Titan war horns.
This needs screaming and all that other great music of human suffering that is 40k.

Just a quiet section of the front with mild skirmishing. You can call in the Cadians when things really get hot.
So what you wanna do, is open up this one with the apocalypse ambience, and then play the combat music for 40k over it. That makes it pretty damn intense.

I love these videos but one small thing. Do you think you could maybe make some titan footsteps, the war horns going off and every now and then something big like their heavy plasma cannons going off? I use these videos for my only war TTRP games and they follow a titan around and I want them to feel that same awe. Maybe some different ones with tyranids screeching, bio weapons firing, chaos cultists with dark prayers playing on old city speakers. Ork WAAGHS

You know what would be awesome? Just to add a little more ambience, use voice lines from the DoW games/other 40k games and have them quietly ring out from time to time. It'd cool to understand who specifically is fighting each other
