@@thethirdbill Hi Bill, I think you may be someone I can finally tell my story about this to. For 20 years Ryan Adams, who is the subject of Motion Sickness was my favorite artist. Then he got cancelled by a New York Times article on February 13, 2019. (That same day 11 Minutes came out and I discovered YUNGBLUD who is now my muse and favorite famous human, which is how I found you.) Ryan offered to produce Phoebe when she was just starting out and then fell in love with her and started to become inappropriately emotionally dependent on her. He is old school in the sense that he was subconsciously looking for someone to save him. And his team and parts of the music industry enabled his dysfunction because he is a true genius who Elton John credits for reviving his career and Taylor Swift turned to for songwriting help. Phoebe was probably the catalyst for Ryan's downfall. He obsessively reached out to her when he was in emotional and physical pain for his worsening chronic illness. She was the first woman to break the spell of dysfunction and say that his behavior was unacceptable. Yes, he deserved to be called out as anyone does, and he is still healing and learning. But Ryan's fanbase which leans toward 40 and older and working class, was split along gender lines, with men taking Ryan's side and women taking the women's side and I was maybe the only person trying to mediate between the two and help everyone see the other gender's perspective. and life experience. So basically, I had to leave that fanbase and am now inspired every day by YINGBLUD's fanbase who are fair, humble and nuanced compassionate in thier views ways that I think gen x and boomers generally don't see very well. So I am mentioning all of this to you because you are also someone a bit older who sees the wisdom in younger artists. I hope this was interesting to you and if you ever want to talk more on this topic please reach out!

Great to see someone reacting to her music for the first time that really takes it in, and processes it so well. You translated Phoebe’s lyrics so well it’s impressive. Great to see someone reacting to her music for the first time that really takes it in, and processes it so well. You translated Phoebe’s lyrics so well it’s impressive. Often times a lot of people who do these reaction videos to music don’t really have the ability to do that, or they just don’t understand the incredible amount of work that goes into making an album like this. You interpret music exceptionally well, and I’m glad to see someone who really puts so much thought into a video such as this. Thank you for truly listening! Phoebe is an incredible artist, and is so innovative. She really deserves for people to notice just how genius her music is. So excellent job on the video. Take care.

You should listen to The Amazing Devil. They're a British folk band, and the way they tell stories through their music is remarkable. I love pretty much all of their songs, but I definitely suggest listening to Welly Boots, Farewell Wanderlust, Fair, and Marbles (they only have two albums but these Four songs are from their newest one).
thank you for this!!!!!!!!
Now you have to do Bright Eyes too, since he's the co-wrighter and in the backing band in her latest album.
