- Store owner Renee visits Hollywood plastic surgeon Dr. 90210, Dr. Robert Rey for a cosmetic consultation, and then rushes back to the store to meet 1950’s Hollywood legend, Maimie Van Doren-who is 80 years old and looking for a dress to renew her vows in.

Kudos to the doctor for not pushing her into cosmetic surgery she clearly doesn't need. Upfront and honest.

He told about boob implants (to a women who clearly doesn't need it) and then he started acting like he always promoted the .
The twice-a-year laser treatment he offered her is probably more expensive, less time consuming, less messy and way safer than a facelift!
Well, it is absolutely positively fabulous and refreshing to hear a doctor being an honest to goodness doctor! He's clearly not focused on the almighty dollar, but clearly he's focused on the happiness and wellbeing of his patients. What a breath of fresh air Dr. Ray IS!
@@katharina... plastic surgery IS very expensive and painful. I read in the NY Times last week about a woman from Houston Texas who flew to NY for a $210,000 facelift. The laser treatment that Dr. Ray recommended was just to Renee's jaw line, and probably around $500/treatment, pain free, and with no downtime for recovery.

It wasn't Maria's fault, it was Debra's fault for bullying her into pulling dresses out of budget. She knew she couldn't afford them but she got on tv, right? Mission accomplished, and Maria got reamed for it. Renee is all about the $$$ not backing up her staff. No wonder her shop is closed.

Did she just say, “ I really recommend, if you have a $2500 budget looking at $2500 dresses?” THATS WHAT THE SALES REP SHOWED YOU! 🤦🏼♀️ and you said, no I want to try on ALL THE EXPENSIVE ONES! 🙄 I got married in 2019 and not once did I try on a dress out of my budget because of that reason. I wasn’t about to fall in love with a dress I couldn’t have. Also, you just wasted the sales reps time. I’ve been in sales half my life and nothing worst then having someone waste your time especially if your main income is commission.

I think I would rather have exquisite taste than expensive taste. As for Mamie, wow, she rocks. My mum and gran’s names are Mamie. It’s not so often you hear of that name nowadays.

I’ll never understand being so worldly and picky with a wedding. My dress I felt I was splurging at $500 and I let my gma and aunt do a post wedding luncheon for about 50 people in her backyard it was lovely and I never even saw my flowers etc before the wedding. I said I wanted baby pink and sage green and my aunt did my bouquet. Also my dress was like the third one i put on. It’s about the marriage and the we people not the “show” ugh people have priorities so messed up to me I think my while wedding was $2k or less
She was a spoiled woman. I would have had to show her the door. She could take her antics elsewhere.

Maimie looked good but once her personality came out she looked fantastic. If she were my friend I'd be changing her hair and the ultra whiteness of her teeth to make her look the more youthful person she is inside as they both detracted from her beauty. But her man loves her exactly as she is and that warmed my heart more than anything.

It’s not Maria’s fault that the Bride chose to keep picking dresses out of her price range. And her family should have put in more effort helping her to control her spending bug.
Right, but Mariya was only informing the lady of the gowns' cost when she was modeling them. Mariya should have told the lady it's out of her budget until she found an appealing gown in her budget. I've seen gorgeous $2,500 gowns on this show before. They are there, but apparently you gotta hunt for them.

I can’t say that I “know” Mamie Van Doren. I did have a handful of interactions with her though when I was a young adult back in the 80’s. What I can say is that she was everything she seems- incredibly kind, sweet, and gracious. My brief interactions with her left me holding her in very warm regards. She looks absolutely stunning. It’s shocking she was 80 here!! ❤
I was frustrated by the bride trying dresses way out of her budget, but when she said it was, “Kinda like dating a married man, when you know you can’t have him,” she totally redeemed herself 😂
Her stating that "dating" a "married" man as an acceptable option to start with concerns me. This woman has more boundaries issues than just going after things way out of her budget.
