Well point is if one doing one thing and the other is doing something else they can trade the stats they need for what ever thing like if some one was building and there other one was fighting one could give the other armor
Imagine having one fully armored, with god apples and potions and giving attack and defence to the other one and make it an unstopable beast of destruction
Simple, hide the twin in a discreet location and have them crouch so their gamer tag isn't visible. Yeah, you could tp to the twin but say in a roleplay server like the dream smp or Origins SMP that's not allowed
to preface this: i htink your ideas are incredible and im always super impressed with your ability to code such unique ideas! but for this one, i would suggest that there should be some kind of "both twins need to be within a certain distance of eachother for their powers to work" aspec to this, otherwise people would just have one super buffed twin running around fighting while the other sits safely in an underground safety bunker at the bottom of the world with a vegetable farm
I think this actually good, even though you're right about only having one fighting around is kinda sad. But the thing is that in PVE this works out so well with distance because according to each of your situation you can balance out accordingly. And in critical cases one can teleport to help or totally buff the ambushed twin
Actually I'd say this is what the twin origin is about, it's a risk/reward type thing where you can have a slightly overpowered tank (because the armor shouldn't convert the enchantments and hopefully doesn't stack armor points) that can easily be killed by instant damage potions, end crystals, or simply finding the other twin and getting a one shot on both of them. If someone wants to nerf the origin then they can simply add a datapack to track players or just get a variety of origins that also have their strengths. Besides that, the only way you could get a human to actually stay in a bunker the entire time would probably be no human, an alt. The weak twin would be bored out of their mind.
Or maybe one that can only breath when submerged in non-transparent blocks, so pretty much will just be in the dirt. Can obviously move through blocks like the phantom but can't go invis
Basically one will farm and do farming stuff while the other one is the protector while the farmer is weak and it only makes food for the protector and help it teleport the protector back when its lost

3rd idea: Potion Master Origin. You know every potion there is, and even figured out how to make health boost and saturation potions. Press G to splash positive potion effects (will be random), and press R to throw a negative potion effect (random again). Press B to throw lingering positives, and F to throw lingering negatives. The downside is, with all that experimentation on yourself finding wither, saturation, and health boost potions, you are now completely resistant to all potion effects. Good for pvp, and balanced.
The poison and wither bug also appears when you’re giving someone the effect for 1 second using a repeating command block. I’m pretty certain it’s due to the poison damage “cool down” being longer than the effect length itself
In regards to Poison and Wither effects: You might not experience constant damage because they deal damage based on remaining duration of effect. It looks like your Origin get applied effect constantly in like every tick, which causes it to not receive damage because they are stuck on the specific tick time of the potion effect. You could fix it by applying effects once every second, instead of in every tick. You might also consider checking out Absorption effect because with constant refreshing it might keep refreshing health boost constantly on the receiving twin. Other than that, here are few of my suggestions for the Origin: - Ability to share your stats seems extremely broken because you might move all powerful stats to single person. It also leaves other person in a state where they can't really play the game because they sacrificed all their power to other twin. Sure, when one dies, other also dies... but that doesn't fix this design at all since your weaker twin can sit in a cave/bunker far away from action. There is also my concern for respawn after first death... couldn't weaker twin just... never respawn? I mean... it would be constantly online, just... not be a physical target to kill the other one. Sure, that also means it can't supply the other twin with potion effects or food, but it's not like you can't respawn back in when you find a perfect spot for it. I can imagine someone programming a pair of bots which would utilize all the powers at the extremely efficiently and with extreme precision. Imagine both automating for different jobs, one near overpowered beacon with all maxed out effects, while other doing it's usual exploration related jobs with all those effects and constantly supplied with all resources it might need for the jobs. Food, Wood, a way of moving collected items and experience directly to set-up storage... And you still have extremely weak but non the less useful second bot doing other tasks: Enchanting stuff with resources other gathered and experience it got, preparing food, cutting trees... I'm not against sharing items, experience and/or potion effects, but having a god doing everything and much more than most other pairs of people would be insanely unbalanced. Having a weakness is a good thing, but if you have to reach said weakness in some hidden location you have no idea of even existing, it might as well not be a weakness. Also - we can't do much with bots, as even without the Origins they are much more powerful than other players. It's just... if you have two synchronized and linked bots, they would be (no doubt) be THE strongest pair ever. My suggestion is to rework sharing powers to operate on temporary buffs with long cooldown instead. Instead of 4 various levels of sharing stats, I would make it just 1 but a bit more meaningful (let's say 1 temporary stronger buff would be as good as your 2 or 2.5 permanent ones). You still need timing and for both players to agree to certain actions. With temporary buffs with longer cooldown it feels less like one useless player and one god-like and more like cooperating duo. You should also consider powers to only work in set range and in the same dimension, instead of everywhere. Maybe with exception to sharing items, experience and teleportation abilities, because those feel very well balanced in the context of the Origin. Also - no more permanent health buffs, instead you can move health points by one Player willingly taking damage and other getting health. It would also be on longer cooldown to prevent just infinite healing as long as one is connected to food or potion storage, but would not prevent from reacting to others bad situation one time. Also also - it would be generally a good game design to make players have visible marks for when they are buffed or debuffed in certain aspects. It would help other players recognize which one of the twins is the stronger one. - Sharing Items is an interesting power. You can make one twin constantly mine for resources while other can utilize them immediately after getting them. It can also supply mining twin with resources it needs to keep going on mining trip (stuff like Wood, Maybe Food too as it seems like saturation buff other receives from eating is much smaller than if you were to just eat the food, tho it might be worth checking if that's also the case with eating low saturation food like kelp, cookies and other food). - Teleportation between the two is also fine - they are linked together, it would make sense if they had some way of quickly reaching each other. This technically lets them have two spawning points at the same time, as if both die, they both teleport to different spawns - I like ability for sharing potion effects actually. Tho can be extremely powerful, it does work both ways. The only question is... does it also affect instant potion effects? If so, maybe a God-like player could actually die in one harming potion because of the weak link, forcing players to at least not overtake whole health from other. That would also mean being able to heal tremendously quickly with Instant Healing. - Breath one... I can see why you went with it, but wouldn't it be more interesting if instead of infinite breath as long as one can breathe, you could go with partial breath extension? I can see them both have synchronized breath and while one of them is in water - both slowly losing breath, but not as quickly as if both were to lose the breath. There is literally a whole Origin which whole deal is to live in water, and those guys can do it too and much more. - While the intention is to use this Origin with your buddy, it probably could help if you had a way of seeing the other twin through walls too. It's also difficult to see if other player actually picked the same Origin as you. So... an ability to see other not-paired twins Glowing while being non-paired twin yourself AND to see your buddy Glowing after pairing process. Just another tool for twin cooperation would be nice. While at it... - Ability to unlink from your twin in some way in survival mode would be really good. Maybe using shears on the connected twin to unlink the two? Also - a weakness which halves your health while not being paired would make a lot of sense. You just... miss your other half. - How about allowing twins to play without other twin present in game, but simply not benefiting from other one? Is that state buffs would simply be reset to prevent specific strategies like buffing one player and logging of the weaker link to prevent killing both of them. People are not perfectly synchronized and being unable to play while your friend is not online is a bit too annoying to deal with. I know the idea is for them both to experience the game at the same time and experiencing unique features this Origin offers while both are online, but it's simply not always possible. Just FEW suggestions I got while looking at the Origin. :)
omgosh this origin is soo cool!!! It seems so fun too to play with, you could try challenges with your friend! This really earned me, you're such a cool programmer!
Yo imagine this in an anarchy server. When the base is under attack, one guy stays hidden in a brewing chamber filled with potions and gives his buddy armor, attack, attack speed, speed, reach plus both are full prot 4 netherite And when all else fails the hidden guy runs away and tp's his friend a safe distance away
This would be a good tag team Origin. In a fight: One person fighting and the other off side, hiding. The hiding gives all their health and damage and other stuff. (If you can have multiple, I haven't gotten far into the video yet) The fighter utilizes that to their advantage. When low on health, they give their stats back and swap spots and rinse and repeat.
this could be really op if two people have good cemisty and can give each other buff in time so the other can avoid damage i can also see the armor thing being useful in bluffing, one has full enachanted netheritre but the other actrally has the protection teleport is also good for combat or item smuggling, for example if someone wanted to steal tommy's discs from him, they could have one twin grab it then tp it to a twin who is standing next to an enderchest the tether could be useful for building, basiclly limited fly the run speed is also useful for escape, i think you would give all run speed to one person and all attack and defense to the other, twin 1 would get to a hidden safe spot, then twin 2 can tp to them reach is prehapes useful for breaking out of prisions to reach places you shouldn't be able to (i'm looking at you mythrodak) the air thing can be helpful for ocean exploring
I could see having someone as a frontline attacker, while the other person sits back and shoots people with a bow/crossbow and does support stuff. I could see many combinations coming into play here, seems interesting.
I imagine servers that would use this origin would ban people from using multiple accounts, and if not, then well the server was meant to have someone be really OP so it’s fine lol
@@xivilaikikira3768 yeah I’m surprised nobody in this comment section brings that up lol, it’s the obvious downside Though I guess you could leave them in a super hidden place surrounded with obsidian, but I mean, that could probably be found at some point. Though most of these abilities work through different dimensions which can make it harder...
It would be nice to see a chain of twinborns all link to each other, so no twinborn becomes completely useless in one way. They can instead split their stats. For example player A wanted more attack, player B and C can both gift their attack equally to player A so that player B and C can still defend themselves. More players to pair with also decreases your chances that your paired with someone that's inactive. Really would improve the usability of the orgin, but then it can't be called "twin" born anymore. And the other flaw is how the tether going to function. Maybe the furthest player isn't tethered so that it can function just like it does in the video without a middle-man. Anyways just thoughts, take it however.
Wow the knowledge of MC commands in this one is just on another level, I looked at the twin_passive_abilities file to see if I could find the problem with poison and wither and I saw you changed the compare_to value to 100 instead of 60 like in the other effects. I'm not sure if you did this on purpose after finding out it didn't work or if you just missed it but that might be the reason why it's broken.
a) I really need this in 1.19 but it almost certainly won't work and I have the coding skill of a potato so I can't update it myself b) we need more custom origins from you these are so cool!
I'd love to see this implemented in a 2v2 (or 2v2v2, etc) series at some point, modified a bit where the different things that can be given and received are randomly chosen and activated every minute. This would force both teams to have to improvise on the fly as to who can be doing what and when.
I have an idea, it’s similar to this: The twins must be within a specific distance within one another or else they will get slowness etc. They must be on touching blocks for their powers to work, and the distance for the powers to work is even smaller than the distance without being debuffed is
Amazing origin, I really like the concept behind this one and the puppeteer one, and 4:40 a fix for this might be, and these probably don’t work too well, but if you can apply curse of binding on all armor prices on both people until both people are back to their normal armor amount, or doing that (curse of binding) but only to the person with less armor amount than they should have with their given armor
Maybe make an animal Origin, where you get buffs from tamed animals (resistance and jump boost), they have extra inventory that only you can access, and you get weakness 2 & slowness 1 in the End if there is not a dragon (fix that by going to the end islands, shulkers are animals I believe). Drawing inspiration from the puppeteer Origin, you can summon an animal that forceloads a chunk, which would be good for farms. You would get slow falling near phantoms, strength near Piglin Brutes and the other Axe boy, and speed near ocelots or dolphins.
Oh that's easy, you extract the folder while it's still in your files and then drag the extracted file from what ever file program your using into the aternos' datapack folder which can be found in worlds. It's not too complicated and if I'm not that good at explaining it I can make a video for it and send it to you
Serpent Origin: You are the evolved species of all snake species, sea and land snakes alike. Sea Serpent: since you are part sea serpent you get dolphins grace 2 while in the water with infinite water breathing. Poisonous Spit: You can spit out a glob of poison at your foes giving them poison 1 for 5 sec. Paralyzing Poison: You can preform a bite with your fangs injecting paralyzing poison into your foes giving them slowness 2 and blindness for 10 sec. Scales: Your scales prevides some natural armor. Poison specialist: Your immune to poison Thermophobia: You scales trap body heat which makes you incredibly hot in warm biomes. Burning you. Also since your afraid of fire you take 3x fire damage. Frigophobia: Your cold blooded ya dumb dumb stay out the cold or yo will take wither damage also you take 5x damage from powder snow. (if your playing on 1.17)
I love this one like if your not good in pvp u can give your strength, attack speed, etc. and be op the down side is that you have to hide your friend cuz he’s pretty much killable
some tips to increase balance and usability i think wither and poison should be affecting to both twins, to make this one a bit more balanced and have a massive third downside to counter all the massive buffs, also,I think that when only one twin is online, they can play the game normally, but they only have 3 hearts, 3 bubbles of air, armor doesn't grant any armor points (only knockback resistance stays) and they can't damage other players, also all twin buffs/effects are disabled until the other logs back in. They are then immmune to all effects (both positive and negative, even beacons), The remaining twin also can't enter the nether for too long as they will get hunger and starve within 30 seconds (or even less if hey were already hungry), the same thing happens if one of the twins leaves while the other is in the nether, the nether twin than has an aditional 30 seconds before the hunger effect kicks in this is because the lone twin is to weak to withstand the heat alone when their twin isn't there, so it costs them alot of energy. I think that way it is a bit more usable for people who have less free time or don't have alot of overlap to play together.
For your next origin, can you make a sort of riftwalker, where you can leave a thing like an armor stand somewhere as a “portal” using your primary and you can swap places with the stand using your secondary key?

I mean... it would be constantly online, just... not be a physical target to kill the other one.
And you still have extremely weak but non the less useful second bot doing other tasks:
Enchanting stuff with resources other gathered and experience it got, preparing food, cutting trees...
This technically lets them have two spawning points at the same time, as if both die, they both teleport to different spawns
- I like ability for sharing potion effects actually.
This is extremely insightful. Thank you very much for this!
omgosh this origin is soo cool!!! It seems so fun too to play with, you could try challenges with your friend!
This really earned me, you're such a cool programmer!
Imagine a guy making an alt on a server and giving them selves everything. That would be scary
This seems very interesting for a character in a story.
You could have some unique setups for plot points and world building.
In a fight:
One person fighting and the other off side, hiding.
The hiding gives all their health and damage and other stuff. (If you can have multiple, I haven't gotten far into the video yet)
The fighter utilizes that to their advantage. When low on health, they give their stats back and swap spots and rinse and repeat.
this could be really op if two people have good cemisty and can give each other buff in time so the other can avoid damage
i can also see the armor thing being useful in bluffing, one has full enachanted netheritre but the other actrally has the protection
teleport is also good for combat or item smuggling, for example if someone wanted to steal tommy's discs from him, they could have one twin grab it then tp it to a twin who is standing next to an enderchest
the tether could be useful for building, basiclly limited fly
the run speed is also useful for escape, i think you would give all run speed to one person and all attack and defense to the other, twin 1 would get to a hidden safe spot, then twin 2 can tp to them
reach is prehapes useful for breaking out of prisions to reach places you shouldn't be able to (i'm looking at you mythrodak)
the air thing can be helpful for ocean exploring
I could see having someone as a frontline attacker, while the other person sits back and shoots people with a bow/crossbow and does support stuff. I could see many combinations coming into play here, seems interesting.
If you have two accounts, you can make 1 max and 1 minimum, meaning you can technically do solo, but buffed insanely
I imagine servers that would use this origin would ban people from using multiple accounts, and if not, then well the server was meant to have someone be really OP so it’s fine lol
@@poppyseed799 not talking bout servers but yeah most likely.
@@poppyseed799 till some 1 finds ur incredibly weak alt and 1 shot both of u lol
@@xivilaikikira3768 yeah I’m surprised nobody in this comment section brings that up lol, it’s the obvious downside
Though I guess you could leave them in a super hidden place surrounded with obsidian, but I mean, that could probably be found at some point. Though most of these abilities work through different dimensions which can make it harder...
@@poppyseed799 yeah, its possible to hide the weak alt in the nether or late game end, maybe even making a void base out of boats or smth
Anyways just thoughts, take it however.
i thinks it’s only two people that can be paired. that’s why it’s a *twin*
"Okay you gotta have a friend for this one"
me "ok."
When is the Boosfer Origin coming?
Idk maybe in 10 years
Never
I think you should file a formal complaint
Lollllll
DADDY UH!
a) I really need this in 1.19 but it almost certainly won't work and I have the coding skill of a potato so I can't update it myself
b) we need more custom origins from you these are so cool!
This is such a cool idea and also verry well executed!!
I'd love to see this implemented in a 2v2 (or 2v2v2, etc) series at some point, modified a bit where the different things that can be given and received are randomly chosen and activated every minute. This would force both teams to have to improvise on the fly as to who can be doing what and when.
really Love your content keep it up all creative thing you have here
Also first
I have an idea, it’s similar to this: The twins must be within a specific distance within one another or else they will get slowness etc. They must be on touching blocks for their powers to work, and the distance for the powers to work is even smaller than the distance without being debuffed is
CRAP!!!!!!! I need a friend for this!!?!? Also very cool mod and generally great content!
When you play on bedrock: Why don't we have this luxury?! 😩
Imagine having a pair of twins that already do everything in sync and they find this.
this is probably the most useful and useless origin at the same time
the history of a toxic brother that stole his sister's strenghts , jailling her on a place safe for him in case something happens.
"You need a friend for this"
Oh well that's one less origin to choose from
Maybe make an animal Origin, where you get buffs from tamed animals (resistance and jump boost), they have extra inventory that only you can access, and you get weakness 2 & slowness 1 in the End if there is not a dragon (fix that by going to the end islands, shulkers are animals I believe). Drawing inspiration from the puppeteer Origin, you can summon an animal that forceloads a chunk, which would be good for farms. You would get slow falling near phantoms, strength near Piglin Brutes and the other Axe boy, and speed near ocelots or dolphins.
She has lifted my depression
⟟ usually turn on close captions so that way ⟟ can pay attention, but you voice is very calming and helps me pay attention
Someone send this to Wilbur!!! This is the perfect Origin for Bad and Skeppy.
I love this the only part I don't like is how you are left in purgatory if your friend is offline
Yo. This is epic.
Your friend can just turn you into god when they have to eat dinner while you are in a war
Hey ink bat can u do a tutorial how to extract ur datapacks folder to aternos servers?
Oh that's easy, you extract the folder while it's still in your files and then drag the extracted file from what ever file program your using into the aternos' datapack folder which can be found in worlds. It's not too complicated and if I'm not that good at explaining it I can make a video for it and send it to you
@@3psilon_ ooh thats how... Anyways thanks for telling
@@nadiv4452 No problem!
POP OFF, this is like your 4th or 5th origin (as for as i know) that youve done in like 1 month DAMN
YOU UNLOCKED "JACOB & ESAU"
nooooooooooooo I dont want that
@@trickygamer555 ?
By FAR the most creative and interesting origins i've ever seen. Each one you make is better than the last one! Loving it!
good news guys curse forge recently updated to support fabric mods on the App,
on a separate installation/mod pack cool right ?
This is honestly the coolest thing I've seen in a while! Omg, I really wanna do this hahaha
The first seconds ruined my chance of playing this.
This orgin is a *Masterpiece* its a good origin :D
This is really, really cool. Super ORIGINal. Eyh? See what I did there?
bruh
lol
Serpent Origin: You are the evolved species of all snake species, sea and land snakes alike.
Sea Serpent: since you are part sea serpent you get dolphins grace 2 while in the water with infinite water breathing.
Poisonous Spit: You can spit out a glob of poison at your foes giving them poison 1 for 5 sec.
Paralyzing Poison: You can preform a bite with your fangs injecting paralyzing poison into your foes giving them slowness 2 and blindness for 10 sec.
Scales: Your scales prevides some natural armor.
Poison specialist: Your immune to poison
Thermophobia: You scales trap body heat which makes you incredibly hot in warm biomes. Burning you. Also since your afraid of fire you take 3x fire damage.
Frigophobia: Your cold blooded ya dumb dumb stay out the cold or yo will take wither damage also you take 5x damage from powder snow. (if your playing on 1.17)
This is so well thought out great job
The exp transfer would make farming so much easier since each level takes more exp and you can just transfer the exp to your twin every few levels
I love this one like if your not good in pvp u can give your strength, attack speed, etc. and be op the down side is that you have to hide your friend cuz he’s pretty much killable
"Ok, you gotta have a friend for this one"
Understandable. Have a great day.
I love ur origins i find them super unique and cool : )
some tips to increase balance and usability
i think wither and poison should be affecting to both twins, to make this one a bit more balanced and have a massive third downside to counter all the massive buffs,
also,I think that when only one twin is online, they can play the game normally, but they only have 3 hearts, 3 bubbles of air, armor doesn't grant any armor points (only knockback resistance stays) and they can't damage other players, also all twin buffs/effects are disabled until the other logs back in. They are then immmune to all effects (both positive and negative, even beacons),
The remaining twin also can't enter the nether for too long as they will get hunger and starve within 30 seconds (or even less if hey were already hungry), the same thing happens if one of the twins leaves while the other is in the nether, the nether twin than has an aditional 30 seconds before the hunger effect kicks in
this is because the lone twin is to weak to withstand the heat alone when their twin isn't there, so it costs them alot of energy.
I think that way it is a bit more usable for people who have less free time or don't have alot of overlap to play together.
I LOVE EVERY SINGLE ORIGIN YOU MAKE
Inkbat I love all the videos you’ve made you’re so talented!!
That's a really innovative concept, I like the idea. I'm not sure I'd actually use it in a server, but still
0:27 dang the Song fallen down along with the text *TOGETHER FOREVER* really made me think of asriel and chara and hit me in the feels
For your next origin, can you make a sort of riftwalker, where you can leave a thing like an armor stand somewhere as a “portal” using your primary and you can swap places with the stand using your secondary key?
And maybe the armor stand can have the players head on it, so if there are multiple people are that class, people would know who has that stand
I'm convinced your origins are the best there are
The Best Custom made origin ive seen so far
