Great video! I stared on GTSport and did GT7, got ACC a while back and I was transported to a different level of sim experience! Always only used cockpit view since GTS and the sounds and feel from ACC are incredible! Number one in my wish list would be VR support on consoles.

Driver swap does work on console now. We are running a 24h even in April on xbox. There is also a league called xcl that is setup alot like lfm with a rating system. The game is alive and well on xbox series x and s with well over 300 ppl online during peak times and lots of great leagues. Can't speak on ps5 but it has completely changed for the better on xbox
I got it for like £12 on the PlayStation Store the other day, it’s such a different experience to GT7, but it feels a bit more like like an authentic sim to me, GT7 could really learn something from them about customising the cockpit camera view.
Yeah it goes further than GT7 in a lot of ways
I've never used the cockpit camera in a racing game before but in ACC it's brilliant.
@@Wilsee It depends if you are bothered about an authentic Sim like experience, it bugs the hell out of me that its more difficult to race in cockpit mode when playing GT7, however to some people it doesn't matter. I guess either way the most important thing is we have fun which I really do on GT7.

I got both (GT7 and ACC) with a PS4 Pro, and I've found myself gravitating to ACC more and more. It is simply more real.
Driver swaps do work. Also you can adjust fov in any of the cameras, so if the drivers hands view feels too far for you, you can just adjust the fov.

Driver swaps work, therefore endurance races work. You can also adjust your POV pretty much the same way as you can on PC. In its current form, it really is a very good comparison to the PC experience (I play both) and very much worth it if you're a PS5 simracer. Join a league, get into a championship and you'll really enjoy the quality of the racing.
I've no FFB on my DD PRO on my new PC rig. Have you ever experienced this?

I just started playing the game over the weekend on Xbox. Haven’t tried any multiplayer servers yet, mainly trying to stay away cause i’m only on controller😢. but the game has been so much fun and enjoyable so far. best racing experience and driving is the best i’ve ever felt (i am a casual sim racer, hoping to get a wheel setup and do more tho!
Same here brother. But with the decent setting you can be somewhat competitive on controller(atleast in the lower lobbies) but turning into and out of corners are always a bit weird
This is a very good game its good to juggle this with GT7 as the experience is different obviously ACC is more immersive and GT7 is a bit more chill. Enjoying the career on ACC and building some skill and confidence (recently had an entry level Thrustmaster) but it would have been nice if the game guided you through all the car settings and what they do especially for novices like me!
Would be nice if ACC did daily races as its just open lobbies atm??

Got the game for about £30 and all dlcs added up to round another £50
What I hope for, or at least until I purchase my first direct drive base, is for the view you were using to work correctly in controller mode, as it’s still has that stupid jitter thing going on. And not sure why they haven’t fixed it over all this time it’s been on consoles. And hoping the ps4 r2 is compatible with ACc. That’s my wish list. As it does work and look great from the ps4…so just those tiny fixes, and I’d be super stoked… :)
Just started with ACC for the first time. Running it on PS5 and have experienced some small bugs that were resolved by exiting and restarting the game. I do have an issue where the paddle shift input is ignored from time to time.
I have this on my PS5, play it way more than GT7 because it feels more accurate with my wheel(only have a G29/but I make it work). Recently I purchased all the DLC except the GT4 pack.

Hi Kireth, love the content bud. What settings do you use for you csl elite on the ps5? I find mine to be a bit harsh, especially over kerbs. Alot of chatter and noise comming from the wheel base. Keep up the good work!
What is your FEI set for? A high number would cause that. Mine is set for 20 and is quiet.
It's higher, currently 50. I started at the Fanatec recommendation but that was for the ps4. I'll give the lower setting a try. Thanks!

Cheers Kireth, I'll have a look through the archives. I'll have to admit, I'm a fairly new subscriber do i may have missed it. Any karting or cars content on the horizon? I used to kart back in the day ( 1990s 100cc direct drive) so it's nice to compare the changes sometimes.
I am on PS5 with Fanatec bundle and I am really enjoying it
It is really good mate, not sure if you found same as me but I found when in 30 car grid then the frame rate drops considerable but only at the start of the race
PS5's threshold for good performance is right around 28 or 29 cars. A 30 car grid is cool, but it probably pushes a PS5 just past its limits.

This game was worth it from release. I had it on OG PS4 and bought it for my Xbox series x. That swap was a leap ahead. This is by far the best racing game on console.
I’ve been playing for a few weeks on Xbox, even with a controller! There’s a few non-racing niggles, but no complaints with the on track experience - apart from a complete AI failure offline today 😂 Short video on my channel.

It's better even before the 1.8 updates. It's a great sim not the best but, it's what I run on consistently.
I have a question, mines keeps on crashing after playing for an 1 hour or 2 hours when crossing the start finish line, i tried everything, resetting the database, deleting files, restarting console, i mean everything and it's still crashing. Do you have any idea why it's doing so? I also made sure there isn’t any dust build up around my console as well. I'm playing on ps5.

I dont have a wheel so what are the steering options for controller? I’m hoping it’s gyro and not only joystick😬 and for newer cars do u pay for them with real money?
This is my favorite gt3 sim ever. Playing a.i. on 100 percent is the funniest thing ever. I just wish in championship mode that they didn't switch the cars every race.

I have recently changed my PC with PS5, despite 3070ti and AMD 5600x, as I am wasting so much time on PC doing "updates" , installing drivers all the time, adding , and changing little bit this, and that... I am done, it is past. With PS5 I am staying on GT7 and ACC only. It was my final decision.
Regarding the ACC , I can tell it is becoming better and better with updates, and I am hoping that PSVR2 will be adopted i to ACC as well

So, i’ve been playing acc on ps4 for over a year now, and I feel like i’m ready for online racing for a long time, problem is, the open lobby’s people create are killing my sa rating again and again and i cannot find the right community to join, can someone help me? I also don’t know people who are into simracing to help me.

I've been playing it since Christmas and it's so good now. Runs almost flawless on Xbox series X. The lobbies seem to be getting fuller, (and videos like this will hopefully help) and as soon as you have a little bit of a safety rating the crashes drop power than any other online racing game on Xbox.
My biggest issue is that the Fanatec GT3 V2 wheel has some sort of issue where the force feedback is incredibly weak.
I moved from a Logitech G920 which was fine, had plenty of feedback and you could tell what the car was doing, to a CSL elite with McLaren GT3 V2 and the feedback is terrible.
I've raised complaint with both ACC and Fanatec, but no response yet.
Is it shite, can’t do a mid race save and load it without the race being fucked.

It’s definitely worth the money now! I play on series x and it runs great. I wish they would add cross platform because the lobbies can be dead if your not playing at peak hours.

I’m poor lol it took me a year to save up for a ps5 and the VR is the same price as a ps5. So I don’t think I’ll get VR until price drops or by some grace of god I’m able to get one. So you think ACC on ps5 is better then ACC on ps4 and PC. Because in your video you said on ps5 it’s on par with ACC on pc.

Get yourself a wheel. You’ll thank me later. You’ll never go back to a controller again. I planted the seed. It’s up to you to let it grow. Honestly though ACC was never meant for a controller. I have the original AC for PS4 before I got a wheel. On controller it was very difficult. The moment I put a wheel to it was life changing.

I play pc2 with motion controller and it’s actually (except ffb) really nice. Everyone saying “get a wheel” should be aware that anyone who plays these games on controller has thought about it and knows what they miss, but sometimes it’s also about money, space or convenience

You should really join a league. League racing in ACC on PS5 is a very good experience.
Which league would you recommend?
@@supercededman There are many, but I think American Racing League (if you're in North/South America) is very good and Formula Racing League (UK and Europe) are two that I've been in and would highly recommend. You can search for them and other leagues on SimGrid.

Good SIM, still has issues though.
G923 makes the game dashboard on xsx, and the force feed back is far to weak on this wheel

litterally cant find servers on ps5 East coast, maybe 1-2 that are actually able to play then the rest have SA thats way to high and even then theres only like 3 of those servers, what a shame games fun but cant even play it

ACC on ps5 definitely needs more active players, on a good day it's like 90 servers on ps5 while I think there are around 1400 public lobbies on pc. if only LFM could do something similar on ps5 - that would be a dream!

Although the amout of servers is important the amout of players online to be in those servers is more important imo. On xbox there are 3 rto 400 ppl online during peak hours there is also a new league like lfm with a rating system and daily races on xbox now. It is extremely healthy on xbox right no. Definitely not as .any as pc but way more than ps from what I've seen

Is anyone else still suffering from the server being disconnected. Cause whenever I load into the game it always says connecting and then jumps to disconnected. Is there a work around for PlayStation 5 which I’m not aware of?
Sometimes a fix maybe something simple,have you tried resetting your internet router.Same with Ps5,turn off power for 10 mins,hopefully that may help.
I'm also on Ps5,luckily so far I've never had a problem connecting to the games servers.

Ps5 they still have not fixed the button mapping properly.The replays are a joke compared to GT7,as only a short replay can get saved.The framedrops when someone enters or leaves a public lobby are shocking.Pray your not on a fast corner when that happens. Apart from those things the game graphics,and ffb have improved.With the game being out for a while now,it's shocking that essential game features have not been fixed.They are more interested working on dlc so they can get more money from you .I do love the game and glad it's for the most part playable on Ps5.Last I heard there were a lot more problems with the Xbox version.

ACC v1.8 on PS5 is the best sim racing game. Driver swaps are possible in G-portal servers. You're a bit behind on ACC coverage.

@@Kireth I've owned ACC since launch on PS4. I have all the DLC. I actually upgraded to Fanatec just before it released. Best sim racing game I've ever played. Biggest issue is the delay in porting new content to consoles. And, the bugs that come with them. The PS4 verison was ok, but v1.8 is amazing

game is stuttering so bad on ps5, had to turn my t300 ffb to 0 for it to clear up
i just got it ps4 pro to try & learn the game b4 then upgrading when i get a ps5 , had it for 2wks cant get any of the controls working yet , working with the 505games support process atm via ticket emails

Hi if your using a wheel make sure that the tab up top in the ffb settings, in game options,is set to wheel and not controller at the top of that list.Easy to have controller selected instead of wheel,or vice versa.
@@Pearson04 hello , yes thanks that worked for me now i have a steering wheel working , my new problem is having no force feedback at all like zero and therefore making steering feel all out of wack , like steering rotation settings , i find all this foreign to me coz with gt7 u turn the wheel on and everything is just setup ready to play
Hi glad your wheel works now,remember to check its on wheel in options control every time you start the game as sometimes game will not save your settings.For the ffb,have you on the force feedback options in controls,in game.Set your Gain etc?If on a G29 or T150,set Gain to 100 percent,Minimum force to 0-10,Dynamic Damping to 0-50.Road Effects to 0-10.Adjust all those settings slightly to your own liking.Then below that on Advanced set Steer Lock to 900,Steer Scale to 100.Steer linearity to 1.00,Brake Gamma to 1.00,Brake Deadzone to 0,Throttle Deadzone to 0.Then try to save those settings in game.Remember if you are on a stronger wheel than the ones I mentioned,lower the Gain setting to your liking.Hope this helps you out.Let me know how you got on.
@@Pearson04 so i was able to save & use these settings , i drove 10laps at spa ok , but i couldnt get the f.f up to the region that i use in gt7 , im still missing at least 95% f.f . I use a fanatec dd pro wheel with the 8nm boost kit , in gt7 i use my wheel on 7 to 9 on the adjust bar in game , my wheel settings are always set on 100% in the wheel . Thanks for ur help so far , 1st time today in 2wks i was able to drive acc so thanks for taking the time with me , dealing with 505games via emal has been hopeless so far

Nope not for me, with a g29 the throttle starts oscillating randomly between 80 and 100% and my fav Lexus is just undrivable now

one thing that has kept me from ever buying gt7 is that tracks aren't laser scanned. That makes such a difference in my opinion.
that being said, I think acc is primarily a pc title. you can get some real close racing with lfm, you always get updates and dlc's when they're supposed to, etc.
I can't imagine myself ever playing acc on any console, the experience is severely hindered.

It's a sim, PC fanboys are just jealous that 500$ console provides better sim experience than most so called serious racing sims on their 2000$+ sim rigs, lol....nothing else

@@vyasrushi5177 it's not a sim but it's a gateway to a sim. Just like Forza is. I would actually say driving physics wise. Forza is more of a sim. The only thing that makes people believe GT is a sim is because you can tune your car. That's the only bit of similarity it has to a sim. The driving is awful.

I dont have a wheel so what are the steering options for controller? I’m hoping it’s gyro and not only joystick😬 and for newer cars do u pay for them with real money?
@@Kennstdudast you can use the motion sensor for ps5. It's actually pretty good for the remote. And no you can get everything with in game credits
