- A bit of a curious release this, and perhaps best seen as a companion to the other Martin Jarvis abridgment of Carry On, Jeeves that I uploaded a while back. This collection includes two of the Wooster stories missing from that and three tales that, although introduced by Bertie here, are all about Reggie Pepper in the original release. It has always been something of an effort to compile a definitive compandium of P.G. Wodehouses short stories with re-writes and trans-Atlantic re-workings thrown into the mix, but Ill keep uploading whatever I come across if it differs in any way.

MY OB Hi MY OB...an interesting question about the word ´´yours.´´ I think you will find it is probably the BBC’s no...but TH-camrs have only a vague concept of intellectual rights😉 for which we should (mostly) be grateful.
Shush - take that comment away or we'll lose this. I'm so upset that the two 'Uncle Fred' novels are now gone. I loved them and no-one else but Cecil reads them well.

Mr. Jarvis is the BEST voice of Jeeves by far. Wooster is good but a bit too daft. Imho. Thanks for the post.
I don't like his voice for Bertie in this recording. It's too high-pitched and squeaky and silly. It's fine in 'Carry On Jeeves' though.

There are a few extraordinary readers. Martin Jarvis, here, is good with reading/acting these tales, as is Jonathan Cecil. Oh, and Blake Ritson doing "Aunts Aren't Gentlemen" is nice too.
