Description:
The Master of the Sun gave the Monkey King a name, Sun Wukong, and taught him to use his super-enhanced abilities and energies. Sun Wukong became extremely strong and extremely fast. There, Wukong learns spells to grasp all five elements and cultivate the way of immortality, as well as the 72 Earthly Transformations. After seven years of training with the sage, Wukong gains the secret formula to immortality.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of our organization at UC Berkeley, Fei Tian Dancers hosted a grand showcase of cultural heritage on March 11, 2023. With preparation beginning a year in advance in May 2022, AAPI student groups presented a culmination of the past year’s efforts onstage at the “Heritage 传承” showcase. Focusing on Chinese dance & featuring various other traditional Asian art forms, “Heritage 传承” is an artistic representation of the journey of our ancestors as visualized by the diaspora.

🏔️ About CAYALC: Chinese American Youth Art Leaders Club (CAYALC) is a student club that is designed to cultivate Chinese-American youth leaders by developing leadership skills through the performing arts. By offering group activities, mentorship, and workshops, our organization aims to grow and develop the next generation of Chinese-American leaders who will appreciate, preserve and promote cultural arts and arts education in our communities.
