Just finished All the Sinners Bleed last night and loved it, I would LOVE a tv show for this book. After I finished reading it I was picturing it as a TV show and made me think of True Detective Season 1 instantly. Wonderful writer, also loved Blacktop Wasteland!
There are numerous black female writers who have black female main characters solving crimes. Rachel Howzell Hall, Persia Walker and Nora Deloach come to mind.
