Depends on what you mean by faster. In a staight line, this car is faster than an GT3 race car. But not in corners, since the aerodynamics are not as good. Better than the new GT2 class cars, but not on the same level as GT3. Last year at the 24h of Spa they introduced these cars together with the GT2 RS Clubsport. Not to mention the other millions saved with a track only car... No crash testing, no regulations to match, no design team for an interior and the list goes on. The spare parts bin was thrown at this car and the only thing Porsche had to do was build a handful of carbon molds. You know, for a million dollars you can buy an LMP1 car, or four previously campaigned GT3 cars? Or, you could buy a 991 RSR - a Porsche that's actually racing! LMAO..... Come on.
