There was no "social media" or internet back then.. For word to get out, you would need a media willing to report on it. And MANY in the media lost interest on reporting it when they were paid to talk about something else... Bias and corruption in media, business and politics is not a new trend.

I really wanted this movie to be good. Ultimately it was just okay. Joey King is an okay actress, but I felt like this particular role was not well suited to her- she came across as rather annoying most of the time. I really wanted less attention on her and more on the characters who were actually suffering from the effects of radiation.

The company knew it was poisoning them and causing all these ailments, how did they not expect everyone to hear about it eventually?
They saw dollar bills. Who cares what people say when your older and rich or already dead. No one were held accountable.
