    Man , nice bike . I have a 05 Vulcan 2053 bagger . I sold both of the Harley’s over this bike . The best bike I have ever owned.

    Yea, I'd hang onto that bike too. You'll find "different" a hundred ways to Sunday, but you won't find "better".

    This they should bring this bike back, even in 2024 this bike would put all present cruisers to shame

    I have the same bike. Same year and color. I've never loved and feared a machine so much in my life. Any advice for a new owner? (other then the oil screen)

      I have a 2005 Vulcan 2053 and is the best bike I have ever owned. Gave up a road glide and a fat boy , over this bike . I mean she is crazy heavy , but the best ride ever . Is not a bike for a weekend rider . That big engine is for a experience biker

    Honestly do you think a 5 foot 8 inch person of reasonable strength can comfortably handle this bike? I want one really bad. lol

      you should be fine. Im 6' even, average build. Once you get used to it being that big and heavy, its no hard to handle at all

    Thinking about getting one but the weight issue has me concerned a bit had an VTX 1800 felt like my fat boy I think this is different looking at a used one with 3000 miles for $3800 this is March 2021 seems like a lot of bike for the money shame they don't keep their value

      Hello, thank you for making this video! I just recently got one it's 06 and and I was wondering if you could tell me if you experience a jolt in second gear when shifting from 1-2nd and also 1st gear seems very short since I need to shift to 2nd at like 20-20 mph before the rpm go too high! And what gas grade have you been using in all the years and have you had any major problems with the bike? Thank you very much for answering my questions in advance!!! I really appreciate it Sir!🙏

    • @parhammotorsports6125
      @parhammotorsports6125 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Use 91 or higher and adjust your clutch cable to fix the jolt. Any bike use 91 or higher, so you don't have to worry about low rpm spark knock. Premium has more cleaning detergents as well. In a car, it's a waste to use higher octane when it's not needed, but in a bike, it's worth it.

    • @markchimmy
      @markchimmy 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for replying back! I will use 93 octane! Also what I ment was when I'm already causing in 2nd gear and when I give a little more throttle that's when I experience a jolt! Not when shifting into 2nd! But already in 2nd! Try to imagine you are in 2nd and you give like 30% throttle before you shift into 3rd! That's when the jolt occurs! Other than that everything is fine with the motorcycle! and it runs smooth! It has vance & hines pipes! And to my knowledge everything else is original! Someone else said that maybe it hasn't been tuned after changing exhaust!? But no other issues besides that jolt! And all other gears are fine even when accelerating hard. No jolt! Please let me know what you think. Thank you again!

    Powerful bike, don't see many of them around. Not a fast as the Gold Wings, M-109, VTX 1800 or VRod and probably both generation Valkyries too even though it has more cc's than them all.. don't think it was a popular bike, what year was it discontinued? 2008 or so?

    • @flyinryanmoto2640
      @flyinryanmoto2640  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      2010 or 2011 was the last year I think. My one buddy had a Suzuki M109. They were pretty well matched on acceleration

      @@flyinryanmoto2640 .. oh.. ok of course the rider matters... My only experience with one is I had a friend had one while I ride a '99 Valkyrie we were hauling one day and around 120 mph or so his bike started popping, backfiring while I breezed toward 125mph and still going. Could be the after market pipes he had maybe had some issue or power commander. Do they have rev limiters?

      @@boreed5734 i had mine to about 130 and was still pulling. I like cruising on it and has plenty get up and go. Its a really fast bike for how much it weighs. When I like to get fast I ride the rocket, but I like cracking the throttle open on this one
