Thank you for posting the full podcast today instead of friday like last year. Hopefully we continue getting full episodes on Mondays instead of Fridays. Its nice being able to hear Denny's thoughts while the race is still fresh in my mind, instead of trying to remember events that happened 6 days ago.
Denny is bringing me back to Nascar. I always loved Jr and drifted away with all the changes Nascar made but I've been listening to this podcast since the first episode and love it! Keep up the great work ❤

Same here. This podcast helped me get back into racing and made me a Denny fan as well. I root for a bunch of guys but now pull for Denny too. Really want him to get that championship
@@bighand1530 grew up really into racing, went to Dover with my grandparents every year in the late 90s early 2000s. Raced go karts in middle school and high school. Somewhere along the way once I stopped racing when the track shut down I lost touch with nascar. Very happily back watching every weekend. Looking forward to going back to Dover and getting to my first Daytona 500 in the coming years.

If you did the old pole winners only format then the teams who aren’t in that category wouldn’t have to travel to it and save costs and I think that would eliminate some of the issues that the owners had this weekend

Taylor's idea for kids (or Travis's idea lol) is GENIUS, and exactly what is needed! Idk if other kids do NASCAR podcasts, let alone Cup drivers' kids.. but how awesome would that be for younger fans?? We NEED young fans. What better way to gain their interest then a show told by kids from a kid's perspective, about kids (and drivers), for kids to connect with! Young fans are glued to their devices. This could absolutely meet a need and expand the sport. Heck, I'd be interested in watching lol.

And drivers like Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney, Ross Chastain, Christopher Bell, Tyler Reddick and William Byron have plenty of years left. And drivers like Ty Gibbs and Carson Hocevar have started.
I think it's a cool idea to take the money spent at a temporary setup at the Colosseum, and instead put that into updating an active short track. What's wrong with another facility reaping benefits? I think it ultimately helps NASCAR in the end. However.. I'd also argue that NASCAR needs to find cool locations to have the clash. Having it at the Colosseum is an awesome idea, especially for those that aren't avid followers of the sport. Maybe having it at another cool stadium or some kind? The location will be the *wow factor* for casual viewers. For a non-points race.. I think that's the #1 priority.

I am so a Denny Hamlin fan now because he could’ve ignored his Dad and kept up saying beat your favorite driver but instead he’s moving on to different lines which is smart on his part and his Dads part to do different lines every time he wins.
I definitely agree with Denny here, tire lockup became a huge issues the last 15 laps or so, before and after the restart so I understand Joey's frustration because he wasn't dealing with lockup (at least not on FOX broadcast) whereas Ty and Denny himself were smoking it up going into each corner.
Why does MTJ #19 never get talked about by anyone TV wise, one of the most underrated drivers in the field. Netflix series regular season champion, previous champ, final 4 either 4 or 5 years straight since latest format, and they didn’t even show his finishing order for each race throughout series and same thing for fox and nbc.
Nascar is gonna have remote judges that will be able to make a live call for or against an incident. Send people to the end of the line for spinning someone or make the call that the driver was in a situation he couldnt avoid like entering a closed pit road, ect. this might protect drivers from having to pay someone back if the judges make it right instead by giving a EOL penalty or parked for a lap or 2.
Denny's fine. Being a bit of a dick is part of racing, being a dick and a winner makes it interesting. Fans are both whiney and love to hate someone so eat your heart out guys.

NASCAR won’t raise hp due to trying to save teams money yet has them drag their stuff all the way to LA and all teams and the sanctioning body lose big money.
They say to try and grow the sport and get lifetime fans. Wouldn’t a higher hp better show create more life time fans now that they have exposed themself to a different type of fan? They took the show to new areas but now need to step their product up to keep them.
How you going to be a NASCAR driver and complain about everything. If you don't like what NASCAR is doing, then retire. NASCAR is for the fans, without fans you would be nothing. If the fans don't like something that's when NASCAR changes, not if the driver doesn't like it.

Race the Clash in states Nascars never been, start at Arkansas or Mississippi, southern states in which Nascar has NEVER raced in. How about a little southern hospitality for a couple of southern states? Instead treckimg all the way to L.A.
I love this. Bring it to smaller tracks, smaller venues and new areas. If you have the clash in early Feb in like Oklahoma you'll generate more interest in the Texas Motor Speedway Races.

I've enjoyed the podcast for the last year, but that definitely lowered the respect I have for Denny. An owner in the sport and he acts like that?? Classless and made me cringe. No wonder so many think our sport is beneath them.
Other sports have a bunch of rowdy and obnoxious fans. And more so if anything. And speaking of professional wrestling, I would like to see someone like The Miz on one of Denny Hamlin’s podcasts.
