Hi Alex, just some advice on that really nice portafilter you can stain the wooden handle with Thompson's waterseal and it will add some shine as well as make it waterproof! Congrats on the baby must be exciting!

When you used your Vertuo Next did you ever have any issues where the coffee wasn’t very hot?
Also unrelated to Nespresso. Pour over vs French press coffee. I am assuming it’s apples to oranges but forgive me ignorance on it. What exactly is the difference? I use a French press but usually when I want an iced coffee but is it worth checking out pour over instead?
