Hi Jassy, That's a lot of fun with your knowledge of the varied functions of the instruments and other materials for some to be as famous as you and that you did an amazing job at it 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
What you can do to sync audio and video is to clap so that all your camera's register that spike and you know they are all in sync, and then from there just sync your audio, you can also have Reaper recording on a separate track and with a mic to sync to that as well. That is what film maker use that clicking block for.
I know but this doesn’t work with my setup ;) plus there is a latency in camera audio and video which means the video isn’t in synch with the audio. You can synch both audios but you will still have the image audio latency happening which is noticeable when playing fast songs. Hence synching is hard
i have a quick question when you do Metallica covers how do you add in their music to avoid copyright I'm wanting to make guitar and drum covers but wasn't sure how to add their music, your covers are awesome keep it up!
I recently started my channel and I can confirm syncing the audio is indeed a struggle 😅 I use my phone to record the video but also record the audio coming from my amp with it, then the audio of the video is visually the same as the audio recorded in my interface, so its easier to sync ^^
JJ in Vegas use the nudge shortcut to sync your audio or create a tempo map will make it so much easier for you in Vegas.... If you have any questions I can make a tutorial video for you... Great work you are getting better...
Thank you for this upload! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ I'm starting to get into using a DAW and I'm planning to do guitar covers and this helped me a lot 🤘🤘🤘🤘 I'm a new subscriber and I am not new to your videos. I love your covers.
wait so if i want to cover a killswitch engage song, how do I switch between clean and overdrive tones?? i don't use an amp and pedal plugged into the audio interface??
What I do is playing completely distorted and then cut the audio in half: where the clean part is I apply a clean tone and I keep the distorted on the distorted parts. You need to get used to play clean with distortion though. This can get really weird. When you use digital amps then you record your clean signal no matter what you you can apply sounds where you want and whatever you want :)
JJ's One Girl Band I was told recording dry can be a good way to then apply effects to the signal but... I want to do it old school. As in if I’m playing live able to switch on the fly and record my cover with a microphone pointed at my amp. Any tips for this? :s
Thank you for this video, it felt like you were talking about the last year of my life. Im.jusr getting into running my.guiyat through my Focusrite interface into my PC and its changed everything. I love how you use Reaper too! Keep up the great covers and videos and maybe one day we can do a collab - JR
Pretty sure in Reaper you can actually have the metronome on a track with it's own transients. So you could load a separate track with a 4 count click in, shoot the performance footage and you could match the transients when syncing your recorded track by the 4 count in the camera audio, to the 4 count click on your recorded audio. Once synced up you could edit out the 4 count click on the performance footage, unless your film editing software doesn't work that way I suppose.
That doesn't work all the time since some songs have different timings 😂 the time I save with setting up a metronome is consumed with synching. Thanks for the advice though!
JJ's One Girl Band no problem, though I should have probably clarified. I meant set up the metronome for the 4 count intro only. So you would only have to sync that with the 4 count intro your camera audio picks up when you shoot the performance footage and the rest of the footage should be synced as well. But with that said I’m not entirely familiar with your film edit software and I might be missing something 🤔🤔🤔
Yes, you are not able to monetize your videos (e.g. I don't make anything from my videos) and you risk a worldwide blocking :( It's about being lucky or not.
Something like a big srtum will create a big wave in the sound track from your camera on in the track you are recording, that way you can synch better. Final Cut has an option that will automatically synch the video and audio. Nice Video! Grüsse aus Mexiko!
I did by connecting my computer to my Marshall Megastack amplifier via the MP3 input so I could change the sound of the music I was playing in multiple places at once. These: - the front of the amplifier - the main volume slider on your computer -and the music player's own volume slider. It gives a pretty good sound effect. I hope I could help someone.
Great video thank you for sharing your tips and experiences. I think I will greatly benefit from this. I would love more videos in greater detail and breaking out each step of making and editing videos. I would like the knowledge to make videos a part of a hobby. Thanks again for your expertise in your video!!!!
At around 12:16 when you talk about the markers thing, do you record parts of songs or do you play all the way through? I really love metallica but it seems impossible for me to play a song all the way through so accurate, that it would be worth showing on youtube. However I always say to myself, well when they play live, they won't be doing that and they are layering in the studio as well and only recording parts I suppose. So...my question would be, how do I know, if I can actually play a part / the whole song even when I'm messing up. (You know...the human factor thingy) greetings from Dortmund by the way :D You rock and I think it's awesome, that you have such different content!

@JassyPabst Yes I like what you do and I will be happy to meet you! Where do you live? 🥰
I recently started my channel and I can confirm syncing the audio is indeed a struggle 😅 I use my phone to record the video but also record the audio coming from my amp with it, then the audio of the video is visually the same as the audio recorded in my interface, so its easier to sync ^^
Do u use ur phone for both tasks? How do u sync them bro?
This helped me so much ! Thank you 😊
Happy to help 😊
I recently got an audio interface but I am having troubles with hearing a delay from my guitar to the monitors. Have you had issues with that before?
Same question
Well done , Great Vidoe. Very Helpfull for starting your music carreer :-) Thumbs Up and keep on rocking my sweet MetallRockQueen
Thank you lady for this video!
Спасибо за работу! Love Jassy!!!!
JJ in Vegas use the nudge shortcut to sync your audio or create a tempo map will make it so much easier for you in Vegas.... If you have any questions I can make a tutorial video for you... Great work you are getting better...
You use windows,I love u already 💓great setup
Haha! I switched now to a MacBook though 🙈 Portable great compact solution with ridiculous awesome performance!
Can I have some of your preset bank settings for Bias FX? I have Bias FX 2 Elite will they work together?
Most of my sounds are from BIAS FX still. But I will see what I can share in the Tone Cloud =)
Thank you for this video, it felt like you were talking about the last year of my life. Im.jusr getting into running my.guiyat through my Focusrite interface into my PC and its changed everything. I love how you use Reaper too! Keep up the great covers and videos and maybe one day we can do a collab - JR
BEST VIDEO EVER thanks that was very helpful 😊😊😊
Now that you mention it, a video on Bias would be great. I might tweak a setting here or there, but I never really know what I'm doing. :)
Lovin' the camera angles truely - PeaCe
Thanks for all the info!
You're welcome!
Many many thanks for helpfull and very interresting video ! Tchusssss
Glad you liked it! =) Have a nice weekend! =)
Would all these concepts work with a bass? I mean it has fewer strings
It of course also works with a bass ;) You just need to compress and EQ it differently
Thank you so much for the very good information.
You're so pretty. I love you!!!
Very very clear informartion, easy to follow, thanks alot :)
I love this girl .
Pretty guitar... cool hair... charming accent!
Whats the background music? It sounds awesome.
Are there any copyright issues or things to consider when uploading covers of bands?
Yes, you are not able to monetize your videos (e.g. I don't make anything from my videos) and you risk a worldwide blocking :( It's about being lucky or not.
@@JassyPabst Awesome, thanks a lot! That's very helpful. Been wondering about that for a while. Makes sense with the money aspect and all.
This is awesome!! Thank you for the advice!!
Is it possible to make covers with just a phone and an amp?
It is! I do live streams like that =)
Awesome video Jassy and your tips will help a lot of people out,
Hope to her from you soon and Rock on \M/!
Something like a big srtum will create a big wave in the sound track from your camera on in the track you are recording, that way you can synch better. Final Cut has an option that will automatically synch the video and audio. Nice Video! Grüsse aus Mexiko!
Super helpful! Thank you.
I did by connecting my computer to my Marshall Megastack amplifier via the MP3 input so I could change the sound of the music I was playing in multiple places at once. These:
- the front of the amplifier
- the main volume slider on your computer
-and the music player's own volume slider.
It gives a pretty good sound effect. I hope I could help someone.
Thanks for the lesson.
Happy you enjoyed it!
0:45 as that moment i fell in love with her ^^
Lmao fr
Hello! Are you still using interface NI 6 or the new one?

How do you upload covers to TH-cam without it being instantly taken down for copyright?
I just cover songs that are allowed to cover.
very good video ! explain all you need to know for record , thx !
I see you use Density Mklll! Awesome plugin! It’s a beautiful combination with the Thrillseeker!
Great video thank you for sharing your tips and experiences. I think I will greatly benefit from this. I would love more videos in greater detail and breaking out each step of making and editing videos. I would like the knowledge to make videos a part of a hobby. Thanks again for your expertise in your video!!!!
one of the borders I think you should cross deep purple smoke on the water cover🤘
Thanks for sharing honey, u have a lot of experience in recording
