Nice tutorial.
Unfortunately broke my window in 1000 pieces at the step at 0:55 . Stupid design of VW that you need to hammer on a part in a window to get it loose...

Sad to hear that. It never happened to me, and I did a lot of those systems... but, it could also happen if the window is attached with a screw

Tip: I already orded a few replacement pins from a chinees website for like 2 dollar . In case it will ever happen to me or my friends again. Next time I can just drill out the old pin.

Note for other people here. I slipped a thin long machine screw in from the back and used a nut with washers on to wind out the insert relatively safely.

Hi, just replaced the front glass today it was a doddle, worst bit was drilling out the rivet's for the speaker and cleaning out all the broken glass. Thanks for your help. @@i-car-us
