Accuracy of the age I thought I was the only one to find that out but a whole lot of creeps like you stealed my spotlight Joke aside it was a great eye
Missing Win: The look on Tom Holland's face when Peter Quill is describing Thor, as a not-very-good-looking guy. Freaking hilarious. In fact, most of the time you can see Tom Holland in the background of a scene, his facial expressions are a win. Great video though!
The spider man becoming an avenger scene is way underrated because not only as mentioned the musical cue is great but spider man being so happy he was an avenger but then realising this could risk his life with that facial expression change is amazing on Tom Holland's part
Not to mention his realisation of the responsibility that is now on his shoulders, all he's wanted from Tony is to be accepted, and Civil War Peter would be so excited and jumping for joy and unable to shut up at being madden Avenger, however this scene displays that he knows full well what that actually entails, and that shows real character growth since his first couple of appearances.

9:13 Peter's "You're an Avenger now" knighting is such a good flicker of a scene because Peter goes from looking enthused, after all he's always wanted to be an Avenger, to looking a bit down as he remembers their peril and then his face just forms into a distance of confusion and upset as he's a teenager facing the worst titan of all and he's scared he's going to die. In this moment alone, Peter flickers between his character and even a bit more than previously seen as he's no longer this enthused little boy who's just glad to be along for the ride and instead, he understands the fear of the situation he's living in and he is both understanding that he is a child and he is an Avenger so people are looking up to him but he is so young. Holland is incredible, is what I'm saying and is built to play Spiderman but predominantly *Peter Parker*
And this is why gatekeeping is a thing Peter Parker's/Spider-man is never really depicted as a team player in almost any universe. In the orginal Stan Lee run, Spidey beats up both the fantastic four and X-men upon first meeting them, and always performs best when working alone. For instance when working the Avengers aganist a new Sinister six planning on frying the planet, the Avengers lose hard while the Six only lose electro. Then of course Spidey beat the rest of Six with only a little help from Widow and Sliver Sable. Who mainly just helped him by providing worldwide transportation.
@@pistachiohno0613 That's a problem with what age they chose to depict him, as rather than choosing to go with an older Spider-Man who as a street level hero was very easy to do and already had one set up with Andrew Garfield's Amazing Spider-Man.
We're so fucking lucky to live in the universe where Tom Holland was cast as Spider-Man in the MCU. Like, I love both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, but... Tom Holland IS Spider-Man. And Peter Parker.
One missing win. During the Marvel Studios Logo we don't hear the normal theme, just the sinister theme associated with Thanos. Basically setting the tone of the movie right then and there. The "Do you Concur, Doctor" is a reference to how both RDJ and Cumberbatch were both Sherlock actors, I'm almost 99% sure.
I have some missing wins too, (like when Wanda takes down the saw-wheel things), but let's be fair if he didn't let himself miss some he'd have to upload almost the entire movie.
I always questioned why on earth starlord would do such a stupid and rash thing when he ruined the plan on titan. But now that I remember his IMMEDIATE murderous rage towards Ego after he confessed that he killed starlords mom in Guardians Vol.2. It makes total sense that he would do this here, starlord is an emotional character at his core and NOTHING matters to him more than those he loves.
What everyone seems to miss, even CinemaWins, is even with Peter doing what he did the reason Thanos won was IRON MAN. You can see it at 15:15 when Spider-man, on his own, got the gauntlet off. If Iron Man had held HIS ground the gauntlet would have been off.
I mean this is the same man who risked not only his life and the Orb but also the whole escape attempt for all of the Guardians from the Kiln just to get his Walkman back.
The thing is Spiderman could NOT have done it himself but he got very close. The gauntlet was almost off and if Iron Man, who had no emotional interest in Gamora, had not stopped helping Spiderman then the Gauntlet WOULD have been off. That is why it is Iron Man's fault.
I love how, when Starlord hears that Gamora is dead and begins to freak out, Tony is the first person to recognise and beg him to stop. Because Tony knows exactly what Peter's going through - it's all happened to him, too - and he knows what it lead to the last time that emotion overcome him - it was that same emotion that almost lead him to kill a man. The man who killed his parents. Love the continuity in these movies. BONUS: Remember Ultron's line in AoU? "When the Earth starts to settle, God throws a stone at it. And believe me, he's winding up." Cut to Infinity War, and that moon's coming down, by the hand of a newly crowned god.
One more win: When Banner admits that he never thought of Shuri’s now-obvious idea, she responds, “I’m sure you did your best.” Genuine understanding! Not “what an idiot” or “ha, I’d have done it in 5 seconds” or whatever. Just an honest gesture of understanding from one genius scientist to another.
Cap: The glass is half full. Tony: The glass is half empty. Thanos: The glass is perfectly balanced as all things should be. Blatantly plagiarised meme.
I think Thor arriving with Stormbreaker deserved more than 15 points. That was just such an utterly perfect moment, an amazing payoff to a decade of movies and the preceding 2 hours or so. I don't think I'll ever hear a theater erupt in that kind of cheer again. And it's just insane when you think about it. It's a raccoon, a tree, and a Norse god teleporting into the middle of a massive battle against invading aliens in a secret high-tech African nation. That entire sentence is just a bunch of nonsense. Imagine telling someone a decade ago who just saw the first Iron Man that _this_ is where this whole thing's gonna lead. But it did. And it worked.
I love that scene but it does compete with the scene at the end of Ragnorok when he launches onto the bifrost bridge with Led Zeppelin in the background. Being a hardcore destiny fan who saw a very similar thing in the first live action trailer, I think Ragnarok just beats it.
I knew Infinity War was going to be a two-parter for ages. The only difference is, I thought it was going to be Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2; not Avengers: Infinity War and Untitled Avengers film (2019)
9:10 Can we talk about Tom Holland's spectrum of emotions in those few seconds though? Totally nailed a teenage kid's thought process. He goes from 'Holy crap this is amazing', to 'Wow, that's a lot of responsibility', to 'Oh dear god', and it's al very subtle but somehow still clear in his expression. A+ EDIT: Only later did I realize you actually mention this in Part 2, but hey -- Its worth mentioning again!
especialy since some gods are actualy titans like Hecate, Mnemosyne and Aphrodite (yup, she was bornt out of Ouranos's pieces, making her more like a Titan by technicality). Still, Norse Mythology doesn't have titans anyway.
Akrak well then the MCU version of the hulk is a bit of a bitch, considering Hulks powers are near limitless due to the fact he is SUPPOSED to get infinitely stronger the angrier he gets, and that Thanos states in the comics the Hulk is the one avenger he’d never want to fight. Sad, really. MCU hulk sucks so hard.
It was great to have that experience after seeing Thor as a relatively meh character in the first Thor movies, then see him in Ragnarok and finally now being a complete badass.
Yeah that shit sent shivers down my spine like nothing else. It was just fucking INTENSE. I'll never forget it. Just cannot wait for Avengers 4 now. That movie is probably gonna be the best film of all time.
Marvel and the Russo brothers have really shown some skill in handling both story and a giant cast so I have pretty good faith in Avengers 4 being as good as or better than IW.
As someone who grew up with a clinically diagnosed narcissistic father, Gamora's arc hit me so. HARD. Of course half my planet wasn't slaughtered and I didn't grow up to be a space assassin (unfortunately)--but my GOD, the emotional manipulation that Thanos puts her through had me in tears in the theater. And when she breaks down after killing him, my heart was breaking. I know she was crying from a mixture of relief and regret. Relief that he can't hurt her or anyone else anymore. Regret that they couldn't have a REAL relationship like she deserved. There is just SO MUCH going on emotionally when you're trying to come to terms with abuse from a parent, and Zoe Saldana gave everything in her performance.
I loved that part where she was crying but her end destroyed it for me. Sure, she may have said "this isn't love", but it immediately gets devalidated by him getting the soul stone. Telling us that Gamora is wrong and Thanos is right - this (in the movie's opinion) IS love.
@@Dumpknoedel Gamora to Thanos is a bit like Lily to Snape, it's the only corner of love in a dark soul, their only path to salvation. It makes the characters complicated, neither pure evil nor good. The difference is Snape did everything he can and eventually died trying to protect it and Thanos killed it with his own hands. That's why one will end up in heaven and the other hell, metaphorically.
@@Dumpknoedel no, in the stones opinion, or probably just in Thanos' opinion. Also, yes an abusive person can love the person they abuse. It doesn't justify any part of it but by suggesting that it doesn't and cant exist all you are doing is telling anyone reading your comment that no abusive person is capable of change. You dont get anywhere by dehumanizing other people.
i still dont know what that look and that wink from Dr. Strange on the street with Ebony Ma- I mean squidward means. What did that orange blast do? IM SO CONFUSED AND NO ONE ANSWERS ME
Thank you for winning the SPACE location card. I loved it because space is so huge that the title card is practically useless and yet knowing their specific location wouldn't add anything to the location anyways. Also, the establishing shot kind of hits you on the nose with the idea that this is space making the location card extra useless. I actually chuckled in the theaters but I feel like the ludicrousness of it was lost on my friends.
Another win: Falcon: "This is awkward". Vision and Wanda look at him at the same time with exactly the same expression. Such a subtle reference for the bond they have. Just warms my heart.
9:11 This is Tom Holland's true acting moment in the MCU so far. The joy and proudness of being an Avenger followed by the realisation what this truly means and how much responsibility it brings with it. I totally bought that.
-top notch performances by everybody -perfect effects -tons of amazing action -nearly every line in the movie is great -complex villain -a shitload of great characters -amazing music -the hilarious lines -peter Dinklage as a giant dwarf looks great -everything about making Thor’s hammer is ridiculously cool -movie brilliantly uses the theme of sacrifice that leads to thanos getting the stones 1:Loki sacrifices the space stone to save Thor 2: thanos sacrifices gamora to get the soul stone 3: peter quill sacrifices the victory of his goal to stop thanos twice over gamora 4: dr strange sacrifices the time stone to save tony (when he said earlier he would not hesitate to let him die to protect the stone) 5: Wanda has to sacrifice vision (who she’s in love with at this point) so that thanos can’t get the mind stone but refusing to do so sooner means failure 6: thanos insists that for any life to survive some life must die, an ideology reflected in the snap -perfect pacing -barely a shred of mediocrity in the whole movie This movie deserves hundreds of wins
And the God of Thunder smiles as he says this, but the cybernetic beast is not fooled. The little one hears the tears clenched in the old warrior's throat and knows he hurts and mourns still.
One more detail. The Infinity Stone Thanos got before the Space Stone was the Power Stone, which is purple, and the color scheme on the Statesman is Purple. When the Guardians arrived on Knowhere, the color scheme is a bluish-tint. The Stonekeeper of the Soul Stone is the Red Skull. The last stone Thanos got was the Reality Stone, the red one. Titan's color scheme is orange. Thanos got the orange-colored Soul Stone before coming to Titan. After getting the green colored Time Stone, Thanos came to the grassy Wakandan Battlefield.
12:38 Seriously, given how Chris Hemsworth actually looks now he's at the point where he can't just play a regular human. His muscles are getting beyond The Rock's insane size.
PLEASE You LITERALLY just stopped before there was a Win and I really hope you win it: During the Thanos Strange fight, Thanos uses the Gauntlet to send a beam towards Strange. It knocks Strange back, and even knocks him out in his astral form! And when you look at Thanos' gauntlet JUST before he beams him, you can see that the Soul stone is lit up. Meaning he uses the Soul Stone's power to hit Strange into the Astral plane. It's such an amazing little detail but it goes so unnoticed, and you literally stopped right at the time where you could win it
Man my feels for iron man. He knew all of this was going to happen. Callback from Avengers 2: “How were you planning on winning that?” “Together.” “We’ll lose.” “Then we’ll do that together, too.” And after giving it literally everything he possibly had, even whilst knowing the outcome - to pray so badly for a different outcome, to hope so truly that the vision was wrong, and that there’s something he can do to change it - to watch all of your efforts and belief end in failure anyway must be heart wrenching. Watching his friends die before his eyes while he himself is spared, just like Nick Fury said, and not even knowing if his friends are alive on earth. Tony took a fucking emotional BEATING in this film. I legit cried when Spider-Man died. Not because of his reaction, but because of how Tony must’ve been feeling inside for letting him come along in the first place. The level of guilt on Tony right now has to be at an all time extreme. Fuck man. I feel for the dude so hard.
Remember, Dr Stange looked into the future and saw all the posibility outcomes of the fight with Thanos. Then the plan that they came up with was ruined by Peter going ape. But, Strange knew that would happen, he saw that in the futures, but he didn't stop Peter from doing it. Dr Strange's plan for ultimate victory over Thanos involves him completing the gauntlet, and Tony being alive. All before him looking into the future he's saying that he'll sacrifice anything to keep it safe, and he has so many spells guarding it that Thanos could never get close to it. Then he gives it up when he threatens to kill Tony. So that means the 1 future he saw where they won at the end involved Tony being alive, and, most importantly, thinking the odds of them winning are so tiny that he'll be willing to do anything. He even says "We're in the end game know". The End Game is a chess thing, and that's when you start sacrificing bigger pieces to get checkmate. Strange sacrificed half the universe to ensure they would defeat Thanos. And once they get the gauntlet, they can likely undo the Snap.
Kharn The Betrayer I’m well aware that it’ll probably end with a happy ending. But still, even if you know it’s going to be alright in the end, to experience the deaths of all your friends is rough. You can’t undo that emotion.
he didn't saw all of them - just a heckload. but there is nothing to say that the who rest of those potential outcomes all failed because of starlord snapping. so I'd rather lean towards variant when he decided to not act against it (because the would lead to ultimate failure) act despite it. one thing we can be sure tho - stark's survival was a crucial for ultimate win.
Gina C, I know, he killed me when he told us of his coming Part II. I didn't even see it coming (much like the movie). Brilliant (or, as the Collector might say, "Magnificent!")
12:40 Also to point out that imagine Thor's sadness at seeing Nidavellir, a place that holds immense beauty even for asgardians, somewhere that he probably holds fond memories of, being desecrated and lit off to that point... When he says "THAT'S Nidavellir" feels like he's so relieved to be able to revive this place. Gives him hope and happiness for a moment
@George Moschos I agree. And it's one of the things that annoys me about the MCU - its anti-Christian stance. However, like most sci-fi, you have to realize it is a fantasy world - one without God. But I agree. That line wasn't funny, it was insulting.
Honestly, I feel like the scene in which Peter is actually willing to kill Gamora is one of the most underrated ones ever. Because let’s face it, we’ve seen this scenario before, and we think we know how it will end - Peter will pull back at the last second because he loves her too much to kill her. But no, he actually pulls the trigger, and that is actually WAY MORE IMPACTFUL AND SELFLESS. Yes, Peter desperately wants her to live. Yes, Peter REALLY doesn’t wanna have to be the one to kill her. But he KNOWS that if he doesn’t do something in spite of what HE wants, Gamora will go through something a whole lot worse. Ultimately, not pulling the trigger, while understandable and driven by a sense of love, would have been also selfish. Pulling the trigger shows that Peter loves Gamora so much that he’s willing to put up with a lifetime of guilt and grief to save her from a life of torture...
Beginning of the movie: Thanos establishes that he has no single equal End of the movie: Thor almost takes him out singlehandedly if he had gone for the head.
Thor only got that close because he got the drop on him - if Thanos had gotten the drop on Thor at any point, Thanos would win. After all, the Hulk was beating Thanos until he gave him enough time to compose himself and then counter.
@@NoobsailerRBH but remember that storm breaker was made by the dwarves just like the gauntlet. Would it be that far fetched if it was actually able to counter the gauntlet? Thanos also appears to hold back with that beam he sends to Thor, keep in mind that he couldn’t use the full power of the gauntlet without risking his life.
Dont care what people say this movie is a freaking masterpiece. The character arcs are put together insanely well for a movie this stuffed with content.
That moments when Starlord was going through loss and IronMan had to let go of the glove to talk to him and 15 year old fucking Spider-man nearly got it off single handedly will forever be iconic in my eyes.
AND if Peter had just had a few seconds more time he would've gotten it completely away too; it was at the tip of Thanos's fingers and slipping off thanks to Peter when Thanos regained enough control to yank it back. AKA even though Quill messed up big time, if they had literally just stalled for a few more seconds it could've worked out pretty nicely.
4:08 They actually had James Gunn on set during all the scenes with the Guardians. Since their tone is so different from all the other heroes, the Russo brothers wanted to make sure the characters were done justice in this film so they brought Gunn in as an advisor. Rehire James Gunn.
@@andrewmarling I love that you're ignorant about the circumstances of the issue. 1) Those tweets are from 6-7 years ago and he has already been outed and publicly apologized for them. 2) There's no way Disney didn't already know about the tweets when they hired him for GotG. 3) The group that brought the tweets up again this time are an organized whistleblowing Disney hate group. He was writing jokes. True they were extremely tasteless, but that just means he has a poor sense of humor, not that he's a scummy person. Read an article before posting inflammatory shit, dumbass.
By your logic, no one can hate Trump, as everything have just listed also applies to him. But sure, he directed your favourite corporate blockbuster, all is forgiven, right? Grow up mate, if he had any sense he should have taken a break from whining about Trump and deleted his old tweets.
It's a sin that you didn't mention one of the most subtle pieces of internal consistency in the franchise. After losing Yinsen when he couldn't get the suit ready quick enough, one of the things Tony has always prioritized in newer suits has been putting the thing on faster. From the mechanical arms, to the suitcase, to the individually flying pieces, eventually leading us to the nanotech.
Sad you didn’t do much analysis on Hulk vs Thanos. One thing I noticed on first viewing was the drastic change in fighting style between the two. Hulk has those chaotic swings and haymakers, just trying to pummel Thanos on brute strength alone. Thanos instead allows Hulk to swing blindly, waiting and probing him with quick, precise body shots, breaking Hulk downstairs before taking the fight upstairs to finish him. The difference in those styles is something that immediately got me intrigued, it was like seeing a highly trained martial artist take on a drunken brawler.
Good analysis my roommates thought he used the Power Stone in the Hulk fight but obviously its clear he is just winning with technique over the Hulk's raw strength.
@@RenaldyCalixte if you watch the movie with director commentary they say thanos didnt use a single stone while was fighting hulk. Its just that thanos is a good trained fighter he prob been allot more fights then hulk. Thanos has also went to manny plantets to yhea kill everyone #half . Do it makes sense thanos would beat hulk esly bechus he has fighting skills on a higher lvl then hulk has.
Love that scene where cap says Earth lost their “best defender” ahhhh puts a smile to my face every time. And no win for the squid ward joke, or when Drax yawns and they talk about a plan. Tony’s face kills me every time. Great video, can’t wait for part 2!
I feel like there are a lot of wins missing, especially in the first half of the movie. Like Tony talking about the dream he had where he and Pepper had a child. Or when Tony and Doctor Strange first meet. Or basically the entire interaction in the Sanctum Santorum. Or when Spider-Man first enters the battle. Or Spider-Man’s line of “You can’t be a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man if there’s no neighborhood.” There’s just so many good scenes and lines that should be wins that are just missing.
Most of these will probably be brought up in the conclusion. ESPECIALLY Strange seeing into the future, but probably Spidey's, like, second or third iteration of the "Great Power=Great Responsibility" line.
@@OsvaldoChannel1 Like Mantis' "Kick names, and take ass!" line, especially after the whole "that's three comedy wins for Mantis if you're keeping score, Pom," thing.
I'm actually really starting to wonder how much it took for Chris Hemsworth to not laugh when Dave Bautista was describing his looks. Like, I'd start laughing before he even said it. XD
14:16 i expected the win counter to explode. because that scene was awesome. and 2, i was surprised with that you weren't making this into 2 parts so the ending was no surprise to me.
Loki's death was heartbreaking and I think this death is permanent. Mainly because of three reasons; 1. Loki looks at Thor and says 'Odinson' meaning he has finally accepted his heritage as child of Odin and it is the end of his arc which includes the Thor movies and two Avengers movies. 2. Because of the conversation Thor and Loki have in the elevator in Ragnorock in which Thor and Loki come to terms with their rocky relationship. 3. 'No more resurrections this time' that was pretty much said to the audience. I think Loki is gone for good.
This video unintentionally serves as a counterpoint and rebuttal to FilmJoy's video from yesterday. Especially on the abuse = love point. The Gamora/Thanos part of this video accurately expressed my disagreement with Mikey's point about that in words I couldn't find.
thought the same thing. i also noticed mikey left out Gamora's response of "that's not love" Mikey does make some great points, however i never noticed it until that video, also because I don't try and take these movies that seriously. I do absolutely love them tho!
Love is an emotion felt by the... well feeler. Gamorra might disagree that it's love, or might not feel the love, but ultimately whether or not it's love is a subjective thing solely from Thanos' perspective. And let's not forget, the basically omniscient Soul Stone agrees with Thanos.
It's certainly a counterpoint to it. Mikey's right that it is pretty damn dark and messed up in spots, I can certainly see someone having problems with that, for me it's awesome and I've watched it more times than I care to say. I'll certainly buy the Soul Stone accepting Thanos' screwed-up idea of "love", any entity that would demand a sacrifice like that isn't exactly benevolent. The fact this IS the first MCU film to go so dark, after Thanos being teased so so briefly before that we had no idea what to expect, is part of its impact, along with the fact it is 100% unapologetic comic book cosmic event team-up insanity of a sort I never thought I'd see on screen. .
(i'm just gonna copy and paste because I don't feel like rewriting it) A defense of Thanos's "love". I gonna preface this by saying that Thanos is a lunatic and his idea of limited resources is actually a bit elementary but I digress. I don't really like the idea that because he did things that we wouldn't have accepted to Gamora and Nebula. Or more specifically Gamora I'm more inclined to believe Nebula was his attempt at giving Gamora a sibling. That he can't actually feel "real" love. Because the fact of the matter is we have characters of multiple origins who come from all different kinds of cultures. Thor is a battle god he was just born one Odin molded him into being one. He constantly risked his sons life in order train him. Even so far as making Thor a regular guy and plopping him on a strange planet he knew nothing about. I'm not saying what Odin did was wrong I'm just saying its not far off from what thanos did and it was obvious Odin loved thor. T'challa's father KNEW that his son would have to fight in ritual combat for the throne, something that is not rare for people to die in. There was even rare chance that if Shuri and T'challa had grown up hating each other but that tradition handed down for generations went unchallenged. Yet its was obvious T'chaka loved his children. In that same vain but for a different reason for the sake of love Peter Quill sacrifices all the universe to show his love for Gamora in slapping Thanos a few times. This is an irrational act that Gamora would have shot Quill in the leg for. I could go on but you just have to think of all the irrational things people you know or have heard of did in the name of love but you didn't question it. So I guess i'm trying to say love is irrational just because you (rightly) think someone is a disgusting monster doesn't mean they are incapable of love. Love isn't something one person gets to define because we don't all love the same.
james d And to your point, think about how many people say their partner is the most beautiful man/woman in the world. Not meant to be objective at all.
Daryn Voss Yeah, that as well. I can understand it coming from her end, but I've seen many people (real people) ask the same question... When it was explained why before too.
Although Starlord's decision to hit Thanos angered everyone watching, he had every right to react like that. He watched is mother die, found out his father killed her and then watched him die, and saw his adoptive father just 5 minutes after his biological one. Him finding out Gamora was also killed? Man, as much as we all hated him for doing that, he's allowed to.
To quote rocket: "OH BOO HOO, MY FAMILY IS DEAD" Just because they are dead doesn't mean you should get everyone else killed trying to get revenge. Does it make sense Star Lord would do this? yes. Does that make it right? No.
I'm glad you addressed this, because this is something I noticed recently that made me see this as the true greatest MCU movie. Thanos is the protagonist, and the narrative centers around his quest, which is part of the reason the ending isn't completely unsatisfying. We've been following this character for hours, seeing his plan, his struggles, and even his insecurities and complex emotions, so seeing him win doesn't feel so bad, even if we believe he was still in the wrong. The fact that this movie subverts the superhero narrative so greatly by painting the villain as the hero is the crux of what makes it an absolute masterpiece in my eyes
What a movie!! Dark yet light, serious yet humorous, epic and badass!!! A complete Masterpiece!! Josh Brolin KILLED it as Thanos!! Def the greatest Marvel Villain to date!!!
No, just a strongly motivated and very short-sighted individual. With the power to change the laws of physics and do whatever he wanted, he chose to randomly destroy 50% of life, completely annihilating ecosystems and society everywhere. Total moron and a pathetic Villain
A powerful individual whose planet got drstroyed of overpopulation so he wanted to save the rest of the world from it. Yes there where lots of casualties but if you think about it even when the avengers fight someone in a coty or something people would die. Just not at the scale as Thanos' murder spree
Saving the rest of the universe from Overpopulation by killing half of everyone? Only for them just to... become over populated again? Not to mention that the randomness of the selection is probably more harmful than overpopulation. And again, the planets are now destroyed by the huge ecosystem imbalance now. Instead of maybe exponentially increasing the amount of space and resources? Or making them both renewable? He literally has the power to re-write laws of science at his finger tips and the best he can come up with is murder? Doesn't make a lot of sense.
I’m sure if you realize this, but Korg and Valkyrie are still alive. Thanos Killed HALF of the Asgardians. Half escaped Also: Matt Damon confirmed his character died Darryl actor has confirmed that Darryl is alive.
I just wanna say I know it’s late but Tom Holland smiling when his character becomes an avenger then straight faces right after is always going to be impressive. He’s excited, then knows what head to do.

The spider man becoming an avenger scene is way underrated because not only as mentioned the musical cue is great but spider man being so happy he was an avenger but then realising this could risk his life with that facial expression change is amazing on Tom Holland's part
It’s one of the best moments in a movie packed full of awesomeness.
I'm adding +1 win for Tony's facial expression when he realizes Peter stayed on the Space Donut.
I add 1 for toms reaction to hearing thor is not good looking
I add +1 for the Cloak of Levitation reacting hilariously
I add +1 for the Space Donut being referred to by its true name.

@@kingjonstarkgeryan8573 well peter is 16 and the only choice is working w some ppl or die so

Cause the rationale ones are the third part/spectators, they can sympathize him,
but those who are in Peter's shoes would empathize his action.
I mean this is the same man who risked not only his life and the Orb but also the whole escape attempt for all of the Guardians from the Kiln just to get his Walkman back.
@@claytoncourtney1309 i get thta spiderman couldve done it himself but why does that make it ironmans fault

But it did. And it worked.

carlos metz keep in mind he had the power stone while fighting them. Hulk would’ve done him in more than likely without it.
TheDeadFrozen you can clearly see that the power gem is not active in that seen. That’s raw thanos fighting hulk.
Seriously creds to the writers and Zoe Saldana for portraying the character PERFECTLY
@@Dumpknoedel Gamora to Thanos is a bit like Lily to Snape, it's the only corner of love in a dark soul, their only path to salvation. It makes the characters complicated, neither pure evil nor good. The Stonekeeper of the Soul Stone is the Red Skull. The last stone Thanos got was the Reality Stone, the red one.
Titan's color scheme is orange. Thanos got the orange-colored Soul Stone before coming to Titan.

PLEASE You LITERALLY just stopped before there was a Win and I really hope you win it:
During the Thanos Strange fight, Thanos uses the Gauntlet to send a beam towards Strange.
Callback from Avengers 2:
“How were you planning on winning that?”
“Together.”
“We’ll lose.”
“Then we’ll do that together, too.”
And after giving it literally everything he possibly had, even whilst knowing the outcome - to pray so badly for a different outcome, to hope so truly that the vision was wrong, and that there’s something he can do to change it - to watch all of your efforts and belief end in failure anyway must be heart wrenching.
TheDeadFrozen Agree! This was as heartbreaking as Wanda‘s vision that she gave Tony in AoU, where all his friends died, but he didn’t!
The reason they lost was because they weren’t together.
he didn't saw all of them - just a heckload.
but there is nothing to say that the who rest of those potential outcomes all failed because of starlord snapping. so I'd rather lean towards variant when he decided to not act against it (because the would lead to ultimate failure) act despite it.
one thing we can be sure tho - stark's survival was a crucial for ultimate win.

Anyone know how Jeremy feels about this channel
@@darkstar4450 He sponsored and did a video with this channel
And I think a podcast
Thanks, I didn't have the words to say it.

Thor only got that close because he got the drop on him - if Thanos had gotten the drop on Thor at any point, Thanos would win. After all, the Hulk was beating Thanos until he gave him enough time to compose himself and then counter.

You've GOT to mention Parker's facial response to Quill's description of Thor. It's CLASSIC and my daughter pointed it out to me.

Jack Burton what did he do?
That moments when Starlord was going through loss and IronMan had to let go of the glove to talk to him and 15 year old fucking Spider-man nearly got it off single handedly will forever be iconic in my eyes.
AND if Peter had just had a few seconds more time he would've gotten it completely away too; it was at the tip of Thanos's fingers and slipping off thanks to Peter when Thanos regained enough control to yank it back.
AKA even though Quill messed up big time, if they had literally just stalled for a few more seconds it could've worked out pretty nicely.

I just knew you'd put a BUNCH of wins for Thor's entrance in Wakanda. SO. FREAKING. EPIC!
I really wanted Led Zeppelin to play to right there.
Ro994 IKRRR EXTRA POINTS FOR HIM BEING RAGED ALREADY
Bring me Thanos!
the most epic scene in the whole movie !!!!
And you can see each time he is hit he is slowed down and suprised rather than angry, making him less and less powerful
This is a late comment but this is a really good analysis.

“All names are made up, Peter” 😆
How Zen
That line just blew my mind.
It's kind of hard when he already filles only the FIRST part with over 170 wins! He needs some break!
Also he didn't win anything in the scene when StarLord makes the plans. There are like 3/4 nice jokes and the scene where doc sees into the futures
Most of these will probably be brought up in the conclusion. ESPECIALLY Strange seeing into the future, but probably Spidey's, like, second or third iteration of the "Great Power=Great Responsibility" line.
He might say them in part 2 because he said the movie was too dense to be done in one video
@@OsvaldoChannel1 Like Mantis' "Kick names, and take ass!" line, especially after the whole "that's three comedy wins for Mantis if you're keeping score, Pom," thing.

Loki's death was heartbreaking and I think this death is permanent. Mainly because of three reasons;
No he is not

Yeah, Tom Hiddleston has been seen on Set, so yeah, loki is coming back.

When Gamora ‘killed’ thanos I legit thought the real villain would be Adam Warlock
The fact this IS the first MCU film to go so dark, after Thanos being teased so so briefly before that we had no idea what to expect, is part of its impact, along with the fact it is 100% unapologetic comic book cosmic event team-up insanity of a sort I never thought I'd see on screen.
.
(i'm just gonna copy and paste because I don't feel like rewriting it)
A defense of Thanos's "love".

Yeah, that as well.
But he could have gotten revenge after they weakened him and took the gauntlet😭💗
To quote rocket: "OH BOO HOO, MY FAMILY IS DEAD"
Just because they are dead doesn't mean you should get everyone else killed trying to get revenge.

Its rare to see some one not complain about the humor
Was Thanos really a villain though?
