600 SAPS recruits deployed in Cape Town: Thembekile Patekile

Police in the Western Cape have welcomed more than 600 new recruits to take to the streets of Cape Town during this festive season. They are part of the 10 000 being deployed across the country. Provincial Police Commissioner, Thembekile Patekile, says most of them will be deployed to 12 hotspot areas.
