Kim JiWon's micro expressions are sooooo real and relatable🤧. Queen indeed. It's a treat for us to watch them act cause they are both excellent on their craft.
Even those times that they were introduce that both of them will lead this series. My expectations were high and it was serve well. My fave actor was Kim so hyun and I know what Kim Jiwon is a powerful actress too because of DOTS and here they are now. What a lovely masterpiece.
Kim Ji Won climbing to my top favorite actresses, the expressions, they way she deliver her lines, everything is just so amazing.

@@giancarlopalermoraimondi179 Sometimes if the actor becomes too attached with their character can be like them but not all. Means Jiwon completely understand the character she played and learned a lesson from her character and the story itself.
Jiwon is still the same after playing this character. Humble, kind, and classy.

till now i thought han hyo joo is the best actress... now kim ji won is definitely up there with her... though KJW is not as lucky in doing good story movies as HHJ

kim ji won... what AMAZING ACTING. Look at how her mouth trembles and eyes are teary in the beginning 10 seconds... WOW. Just WOW.
Haein doesn't want to show her vulnerable side to anyone. She keeps bottling her feelings inside her. As a result hyunwoo drifted away from her because of lack of communication. I think that's why their marriage was a mess.
But now she is finally opening in front of him and he is also taking steps towards her❤
It was shown that she got pregnant back then, that also maybe one of the reasons they drifted apart

I think it has a lot to do with her brain disease in addition to their past trauma, which a lot of people in this comment section grossly don't understand for a TV series that we learn is centered around her brain disease. When people don't understand what's happening to their body (especially people who are near the end of their life), they usually become stubborn and sometimes aggressive. The FL already explained it. She doesn't want to look weak and announce her problems because she doesn't want her parents to worry, they already lost a child, and her immediate family becoming money vultures.
And as her disease progressed, she doesn't know that her outward appearance is mean because sometimes she doesn't remember. Perfect example is end of ep 1 and beginning of ep 2. He thought she was being bossy, so he raised his voice at her. Then in ep 2, we see that from her perspective, she thought she was gentle when she asked him to go to the hospital with her, instead he gave her an attitude. Their whole marriage is just them misunderstanding each other, and it's literally her brain disease that's going to save it.

I think maybe she's also suffering from some sort of personality disorder in addition to the brain disease? in the first few episodes she kept hinting at him that HE needs to be better to her and those he loves, it seemed like she doesn't realize how she talks to him rudely sometimes (in front of everyone too), in her head she speaks normally to him whereas in reality her tone is harsh (though she's been better in the past few episodes). Either way, Kim Soo Hyun said we're gonna see the main cause of their marriage falling apart in ep 5 so I'm excited :)
@@piedpiper1234 I think that's just the dynamic of their relationship because we see in the past, they were really gentle with each other and in love. But now it's strained and awkward, so when they think they're making an effort to connect, it comes off as brash. If it's personality disorder on her end, then this rekindling of love storyline wouldn't make sense. Personality disorder doesn't go away just because they start saving their marriage.
KSH & KJW are just killing it with their micro expressions and acting in general. Like they never fail to surprise me, truly 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Ah what a treat to watch them acting alongside each other! 😭🥹
Her seeing his immense sweat made her realize he exerted great efforts to find her and she let her walls down😩
He needs to tell her that he will now shadow her that it worries him when she isn't in front of him she needs to tell him that she stills loves him and not all is lost and the first person she thinks of when she is scared is him
In short they need to communicate more often
Functional communication is great.....but it won't solve their problems.....they need to deal with their individual traumas/issues
They need to open up more, bottled up emotions are the death of marriage

They both slayed this scene especially Kim Ji Won. Her expressions of trying to hold back her tears are fabulous. She is going to be heartbroken when she finds out that he wants to divorce her! 😢 They really need to talk to each other ❤
My prediction is that she is going to find out when he finally realizes he still loves her and actually can't live without her.
@@Bebbii-ne2mr The preview came out for ep. 5! She was so upset initially and starts doing things alone again, but she realized she still needs him. So snubbing him will be short-lived, and they will be back in the game to rekindle love.
He lost any intrest in divorce when she said 3 months to live. He realised how much he loves her, but finding a way back for a frightened, hurt couple is frightening in itself. 😢
@andrew097 initially, when he found out that she's dying, he was happy. He was so happy that he got a good night sleep for the first time in a long time.

so glad they chose really good actors for this drama! they are a couple that bottle so much emotions and leave a lot of things unsaid and they both potray it so well!
I can't lie. That Hae-In's "I was so scared." just won me over. I don't need to see the rest of the episodes to say that this is already my top 2. It's that good.. KJW, I'm so sorry that I didn't notice you until now. You're amazing. I wish you happiness and more success in the future.

The street lights in the scene are genius in the sense that it allows them to really LOOK at each other. Haein sees Hyunwoo effort and concerns, Hyunwoo sees Haein's wounds❤

@@someotheralias You know that's a natural and a common reaction of a person that was so worried to death and really cares about you. I know for a fact my family and loved ones would react the same for me and i know i would react the same for them too. Especially when she was missing for how many hours, imagine how many scenarios he had in his head while tirelessly searching for her. That's what you call real fear.

Both of their facial expressions are so exquisite. You see her trying to hide her fear and tears then letting her guard down...him realizing whats going and then the compassion...amazing...

i think this is the most replayed scene of the episode. i lost count of the times i watched this scene alone, it was THAT good. kudos to our kimkim couple who pours their emotions perfectly in each scene. Queen of Tears is an amazing drama, i am not even kidding.

I like how they represented it through the light and dark, that light representing them finally talking/ opening up to each other, also to reveal to one another their individual agony that they've always hidden in the dark
reminding us that good communication is key with every relationship...
Their acting is really that good and well done.
Both Kim's deserve admiration and awards this 2024.

This scene was heartbreaking😢. Amazing actors. The portrayal of emotions from both of them is out of this world. U can actually feel their pain.
Only when the light was on did she see how he was drenched in sweat worrying for her, which allowed her to show her vulnerable side to him for the first time. And only when the light was on did he see how she was truly struggling.
I did wonder about the light suddenly turning on like that, I think it was also a symbol of her realization that he worked hard to find her
He got entirely soaked up just to look for her, she got so bruised and dirty due to memory loss, the lighting was incredible on this one. You both need each other!!
