Searched on a whim and couldn't believe my ears finding this! I attended this performance and it's the standout concert memory of my life! I can't thank you enough for posting this - it's like a time capsule i never expected to look into again. It's tearing me up, but in a good way! 😭💔❤❤
When she unleashes vocally, it truly unlike anything I've ever heard or felt. You can hear how raw this show is. The end to Losing my Religion is incredible, the appearance of Cooling is so sweet and this version of Girl is astounding. What an incredible show! So happy to have heard its magic.
unbelievable. thank you for capturing it. never heard anything like it. the raw pain. I've been listening to Tori for 20 years and I have never felt the way I felt just now listening to this. my god. I'm so glad she has found happiness. Thank you Tori.
I saw her in Pensacola and I was frozen. One of the most important moments of my life. I had just had my first son and I was shaken, in awe, I knew I was seeing and hearing something so important. Grown Men breaking down, losing control of themselves, just pure emotions. I will never forget. She is my Queen, Always. Adrianne Meeks.
ive been to many tori shows and at all but one the crowd was so overwhelming with all the girls screaming I couldn't even think straight...but I love live tori she was born to play live ...as a set of ears with feet I just wanna say I love you Tori!!
I was at this show.. I was part of the Miami Beach Senior High Rock Ensemble.. we met her during soundcheck of the show the day before (which I attended as well) .. she seemed fine during that soundcheck.. next day we were given amazing seats to the show (closest I had ever been at a show at the time) .. I was so close I could see that she was drooking from the mouth onto her piano.. I knew something was wrong .. I was deeply affected when she left the stage.. so sad.. we waited and she came back on and killed us with her incredible performance! She did "Me and A Gun" with a woman next to her on the stool.. who was that woman?
What I wouldn't give to have been there. Too bad I was only 1 year and 3 months old at the time. I probably would have cried when she broke down. Cooling was exceptional. She scared the fuck out of me when she got loud on Me and A Gun. (Headphones) Just a preform, artist, and human like NO OTHER.
EWFs can be the best most supportive and giving of love ....but they can have a tendency to be the most annoying with the yelling and the demands.......its a crazy mix and ive seen both sides at shows.......more of the annoying yelling through out the shows....found it more than rude....but i understand the enthusiasm as well....soooooo yeah
Annoying audience clapping and cheering when she breaks down crying! I guess they were trying to be supportive... Also, yeah, you totally don't clap along to Tear in Your Hand lol
I think she was exhausted and emotional because it had been such a long tour and she was pregnant, but would soon lose the baby. There were also stories that she was upset that she didn't have more control over the song list and that was why when she came back to the stage she played whatever came to mind of the prearranged list that her manager was in control of. I have to say it was one of the incredible concerts that she gave, especially that her performance of Girl with so many soaring improv that made sense considering what she must've been feeling in terms of feeling once again that she was doing what others wanted her to do instead of what was in her heart. I wish there was a better version of this particular performance of girl because it was the best she's ever done live, I remember her performing Cooling which she said was supposed to be on Pele but it would be better off in her next album which would be choir in. It didn't fit I suppose so that's why it became a B-side.. in March, I heard her play for the first time at Royal Albert Hall in London and it was truly spectacular and moving because it was such an incredible venue with so much history in the crowd was very respectful and I remember being moved to tears during Doughnut Song because she played the background vocals as their own verse - which I had never really paid too much attention to because they were not prominent in her vocals on the studio recording- so when she launched into"You can tell me it's over, it's over. You can tell me it's over, over your shoulder yes you can. You can tell me it;s over......Come in Houston" it really struck me deeply, and the audience was mixed in terms of male and female, gay and straight in London, which was much different from the next concert that I would attend but a month later in Fort Lauderdale, the sunrise musical theater in which I encountered American fans for the first time were drunk and would scream propos, marriage or crucify, and that was kind of annoying, but she dealt with it quite diplomatically, and it was a good concert, but I've noticed the difference between the mentality of the fans and the age difference was much younger in the United States. I would see her again when she came back to South Florida in Miami for those performances. In November at Jackie Gleason. The first night was great and then came the very memorable second night when she broke down during space and fled the stage for 15 minutes. The audience was so supportive of her, and she clearly needed to get something off her chest, in terms of a statement management was kind of obvious in terms of her, throwing out the prearrange list and what she felt like and wanted, and those songs were powerful. Let it Be what's the perfect way for her to move into that space she needed to be into perform the way that she did for the remainder of the concert.

Thank you for sharing this moment. It is historical.
I remember looking for this full concert a decade ago. I've never been able to find it. Thank you!! Happy to finally hear it.
Tori: “I’m really sick 😭”
EWF: “PLAY CHINA!!!”
Epic. Thanx for upload!

Girl is haunting and scary....beautiful though...

I was there. The audience was worried and supportive when Tori fled the stage.
I can't believe this :O
She just leaves you speechless.

Tori drools all the time.
Wasn't it Beanie her best friend?
What does she say exactly before Cooling? "This song was supposed to be on Boys for Pele...?"
MAD RESPECT TORI
I hope that someone reuploads this concert in the right key. This recording is a half step higher for some reason.
Insensitive, almost cannibalistic audience.
Miami....bath salts
Typical USA audience.

Also, AMAZING show!! :D
What was wrong? did she have the flu? food poisoning or miscarriage?

is this the day she had her first miscarriage???
+lutalice Nope. that was a couple of months later. I'm assuming it was just early 'morning sickness' and adjustment to pregnancy.
I think she had it a week after, but I'm not positive
I just checked and it was officially on 23 December so little bit later that year
