How do you find it does at night picking up license plates? I have an suv, so my current dash cam struggles with the plates as my car is higher up. Thanks.
I went back and looked at some footage, if you are directly behind a vehicle and fairly close, you can see it pretty clear. However, when at a distance or passing by them, it is blurry. I have checked some of my older video files on other dashcams I have reviewed and they are all about the same. The most recent dashcam I am currently reviewing is a 4k single channel and I am seeing about the same results with it as well. I imagine a lot has to do with the lighting as well as any oils on the windshield...or splattered bugs...lol Seriously though none of them I have done seem to be that great at picking out license plates when at a distance. You know, actually I was just thinking, I bet a LOT of it has to do with vibration. That would make any camera blur a bit. But other than that, this camera does pretty good. I switched it out with my old one. Mainly because it had the cabin camera and I occasionally do rideshare. I hope this has helped at least a little.

I just bought this cam not too long ago, and for some reason, the downloads don't show up on my phone.
I will try to take a look at mine tomorrow. I didn't try to download from the camera to my phone. I just took the sd card out and put it on my computer. Hopefully you/we can get it figured out.
