Originally this song singing by the World famous country singer Freddy Fender in 1975. And this is the cover version by Dolly Parton, she later recorded the song, including it on her 1996 covers album Treasures; Parton's version featured vocals by David Hidalgo, who sang the Spanish lyrics. For instance, because of his will i've found my one and only true love who has promised to be there for me, to dry my tears, to keep on loving me the way i am and will always be there for me.
