They need to do a show on mobile home HVAC systems as well because they are different than a traditional house system

Keeping the evaporator fan all the time in the cooling mode significantly increases the humidity level. As the moisture collected on evaporator coils will come back into your home with the fan running constantly. In high humidity conditions leave fan in auto mode for better results.

Our Trane 3 1/2 Ton Heat Pump is the lemon of all times. We have to make monthly repair bill to our local Trane Dealer of Smithfield, Va.

Personally, I would never own a heat pump. The reversing valve and complexity of the heat pump make it failure prone. I won’t own a house without a gas furnace.

Get a home warranty like we did since our old ac unit has been a loser. Worth it and could be replaced.

Does carrier use scroll compressors? And is it a micro channel condenser? I herd scroll compressors are the most reliable and you dont want a micro channel condenser

1998 Heat Pump unit.. When I replace it, should I get another heat pump or downgrade to just AC unit?
I live in Florida, it gets sometimes down to the high 20s low 30s.

I have heard that the UV lights can cause the plastic drain pan to degrade, crack, and start leaking prematurely.

What is come include with when we buy air conditioner. I bought air conditioning a951e $3800.I have buy separate coil $750 and air condition out side. $2200. I think they might lie something to me
Because first time they told me $3800 all price include but when installation they said you need buy coil if you don't buy it the old coil leaking into the machine can't give you warranty after everything done they can't connect air cooling system outside for me I try to ask them they said you have to change the outside air cooling that one too because the old one it is done not match with new machine if you want to use your coil can break. Leaking I can't warranty for that. I just leave like that. I don't have air cooling now no idea how. Does someone can explain to me about it. Thanks

Avoid the variable speed units, a lightning run in can get real expensive as there's a lot of supporting circuitry, I've heard from different people that their units were problematic, I just put a dual stage in my new house...

Lightning and power surges can destroy any compressor or motor. I finally installed a whole house surge protector but I plan to install individual protection circuitry on my new furnace and condensing unit to protect the sensitive electronics. I was thinking about buying a system with a two speed compressor but I have heard from A/C techs that the control boards are flaky and they will override the compressor to always run in high speed mode to prevent future breakdowns.
