Kinda interesting that when she's doing her all-fours sprint, she has her fingers curled in. She's not using her fingers at all for grip, just running on her knuckles. I know it's a stylistic thing to keep with the nekomata theme, I just think it's interesting she does that throughout. She only 'bares her claws' at the end with that attack.
The practice of running on all fours is actually a sport called quadrobics. The reason for curling in the fingers is so that when you run there’s less of a chance you will accidentally pull your fingers too far and sprain them. Especially when jumping in quadrobics, as you land, your fingers may get injured when you continue to run afterwards so curling them in is just safer and doesn’t affect your performance at all.
Greater Apes don't walk open handed either. Stuff like Gorillas that are fully capable of bipedal walking also use their knuckles for travel on all fours.
Hoping whenever season 3 actually comes out even though it's been three years...that they actually put her to use. I was most excited for her but they dropped her down to fan service content which ruined her for me.
i still don't understand what was blocking her power. Like yeah some flashbacks about her lechery and how everyone always saves her but i don't see why that would be that much of a reson to "suppress her power"
The fanservice I can live with, what REALLY bugged me is how she was constantly needing to be saved: BUT if by the end of the series we show her reach the same level as everyone else, maybe even actually get a chance to save jet-feet as a nice full circle to how helpless she was against that psycho, then i feel it'll have all been worth it. The nun is one thing, she's not a fighter, and Maki was refreshingly tough: that moment she just headbutted the good w/o as fire assistance was awesome. Tamaki feels like either she's not a fighter and is just around as a mascot OR they need to show her catch up to everyone

Honestly the fanservice nonsense I could live with: but if they're showing her acknowledge she's been "carried" up until this point and she's determined to show she can be more then that moving forward, it seems such a shame they don't bring it around full circle...
FINALLY she got the treatment she deserves. does her thing, doesn't get degraded to a lewd gag. Her misuse was one of the key elements I was put off by this otherwise cool show

Tamaki and her Fire Cat form reminds me of Naruto being possesed slowly by Kurama's, all that Kyubi's chakra around him (specially when 4 of the 9 tails were been exposed) that is totally sick and shows how powerful how a char is (although, moat of the people says Tamaki is useless due to her mischief and fan service)

Spoilers, manga ending Oh god, it's still painful that she really didn't get a "real" moment. Author could also have used her fire cat abilities to cover up her nudity. Would've looked cool AND smexy. Big missed dopportunity
It's such a shame. She's such a cool character, but doesn't get any screen time for fights, only "fan-service" moments in the entirety of both seasons. So dumb.

Her fire resistance is higher than others yes, heck an enemy tried to stab in her with a fire blade and it wasn't piercing her skin.
I havent watched the later seasons but i really am hoping she becomes more than just eye candy i think her powers are neat
