Borgen is a fine series, but not the type of thing you can watch a second time round. Wallander, on the other hand, is also excellent, and seeing him going downhill at the end seems to show how many detectives, or other policemen, finally crack under pressure.

I watched half of Borgen 1rst episode and I didn't like it especially the swearing and belittlement. I have seen enough of it in British and American shows. From Norway, I loved Occupied and Borderline. For me, they bring drama and reality at the same time.

@guest 1 It is just like the term Yankee. Everyone outside America uses the term to refer to any American. American and Yankee are treated as synonyms. But inside America, no one outside of the Northeast and maybe parts of Midwest says they are included in it. Definitions of words are relative to the culture using them.

Scandinavia is defined by culture, ethnicity, language and geography. I think Wallander is boring maybe becaus there is like 100 shows that is the same here in Sweden. I can recommend Johan Falk movie series for you, I don't think its on Netflix and I'm not sure if there is any English subs (i hope it exist) but look It up
