You know Amazing spiderman 2 was not a hard game. If was poorly executed. Because it was limited to a mechanic that needed to be similar to its predecessor. But if you think about, it basically became a inspiration for Marvels Spiderman 2018. Because : 1. Both games have car chase scenes, Random bomb events, rescue events and so on. 2. Both games gave us classic and iconic suits that came with a unique skill. 3. There were hidden photo events. 4. Both games had a unique skills and gadgets that were unlocked as the main story progressed. The key difference is that Spiderman 2018 didn't give us a Home to return to change suits. Spiderman 2018 allowed us to do it while roaming but having a base of operations is special. The Amazing spiderman 2 had a level replay option. Spiderman 2018 didn't gave us that option. Not to mention Electro's and Goblins battle were quite unique and good. Amazing spiderman 2 was not a hard game. it just didn't receive the chance to shine.
😂I feel you 😂 I played the DS version of ultimate Spider-Men and the game is short but it’s not bad. Check out Nintendo Ds Spider-Man 2 and 3 game, I played that as a kid and there was some part of the control make me Mad af while I was 7. Im surprise that I was able to beat 3 but not 2 😢
When I was little everybody I know always tells me that Sam Raimi’s Spider Man was hard but when I finally owned the game, I just don’t get it. Sure it has some challenges but that’s part of the fun.
I remember playing Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro on Easy Mode, not Kid Mode, and just like they said it’s just as difficult as it sounds, and heart pounding, I was playing this game on my PS2, the analog controls will definitely give you a slight edge, but that won’t save you, but hey I beat the game on Easy Mode, guess I’m a glutton for punishment!😅
Spider Man 2 Enter Electro wasn’t hard for me. The only thing I found hard was sometimes not finding what to do in the level. Like controlling the plane was pretty tough and the bomb mission. Boss fights and combat was actually very fun.
When I played The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) I remember it being quite easy. I even played it on the hardest difficulty to challenge myself and I am not a hardcore gamer. I have given up playing some games mid way because they were to hard for me
I got all achievements for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and beat it on every difficulty, I'm among very few who had fun with this game, I admit for sure the glitches, and graphics hurt it badly, however I still liked the gameplay for the most part, but nothing will top Marvel's Spider-Man or Shattered Dimensions.
The first section in Arcade's Revenge isn't that bad. But since the game has no saving or password system, I've had to replay it so many times whenever I boot the game up and have memorized everything you need to do to complete it. It's very tedious

I actually play and beat spiderman 2 enter the electro couple of years ago. It was a good game. My favorite boss fights were sandman, the lizard, and hammerhead.
You can win "The Amazing Spider-Man" (at least the DOS version) in under 2 minutes. You have to do a glitch abuse to do that. I even have it in my video.

How can the GBA version of USM be one of the hardest Spidey games ever when it's not even one of the hardest Spidey games on the system? And it's actually a good game, too. Spidey vs. the Kingpin varies in difficulty greatly depending on the platform. The one you showed in this video is the Sega-CD/Mega-CD version, which is the best one and it's by far the easiest. Sounds like you were actually talking about the Genesis/Megadrive one, but it's hard to tell when you're only showing the footage from the Sega-CD/Mega-CD version. it's actually one of the easiest retro Spider-Man games out there. The part about Battle for New York for DS also makes no sense, especially considering that Spidey controls about the same in Ultimate Spider-Man for the same system. Why one game is on this list but not the other? Then there's that part about TASM2 which is just laughable. This is objectively one of the easiest Spider-Man games there is, even on the hardest difficulty. It wouldn't belong on the list of the hardest Spider-Man games even if we only counted the 3D entries. Also, Spider-Man: The Movie (2002) has no side quests besides a single one on the very first level, which also has nothing to do with combo moves. You have to collect golden spiders to unlock those. And no, Separation Anxiety is not harder than Maximum Carnage, not by a long shot.
Spider-Man 3 should be on here tbh. That game is so much harder than TASM 2. The combat is so unbalanced and some fights are terrible. Not to mention the camera is awful.
Honestly, what a dumb list. 9/10 of their Spiderman games were from over like 20 years ago. Some even almost 30! No wonder they would be hard. That's like saying "hardest Zelda games" and then listening the ones on the Nintendo.

I beat Amazing Spider Man 2 not once not twice but so many times I've lost count.
I personally found maximum carnage harder. I’ve finished SA, but always lost all my lives in the Baxter building in MC.

Ultimate spiderman on the gba wasnt hard. It was challenging. I died countless times on the hardest difficulty, but it was doable!
