    Excellent breakdowns and clarification. I just subscribed for more similar as to different strokes and shots ie forehand and ba khand Loops and forehand Flick. Most appreciated, Paul in Los Angeles from Allen and Brothers Table Tennis Club

    All tips are great. The shoulder one is a must to avoid. I suffered 6 months of shoulder pain after only a few training sessions looping against robot when I improperly strained my shoulder.

    hi pandapong, do you do remote lessons? (I do like to get to Austin once a year). i live in Oregon. i am a beginner-low-int (1000). i'm an older player that originally learned with no coaching and learned very poor technique (all arm!). this is still a problem with me... i would love someone to help me "retrain" my body to fix this. i have a (powerpong) robot at home (just got it). I also need basic footwork instruction/help. have you trained older "project" players? someone that played against me suggested i need to see a "ping pong doctor" lol. i would be thrilled for help for improvement....i'm sure since i'm so poor at it it would be a huge improvement. thanks.

    Hello Panda Pong, your video is really good and in depth so it's of really high value for me. Nonetheless I'm not particularly sure what the second bullet point at 4:38 means...releasing the elbow. Could you explain this concept to me please?

    • @PandaPong
      @PandaPong  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I meant that you need to make sure your elbow is not locked. Some people keep their elbow locked during the swing and it doesn’t snap during the stroke which makes the stroke too stiff

    • @eineente3153
      @eineente3153 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PandaPong thanks for your answer, that's right, here in Germany it's commonly thought to lock your elbow for backhand. So the snapping of the elbow comes from a strong pull of the triceps ,from relaxation and sudden tension in the upper arm or from the weight transfer?

    • @PandaPong
      @PandaPong  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      U should use your arm to snap your elbow, but also you won’t get any power without weight transfer. You need both and they need to be timed together

    • @eineente3153
      @eineente3153 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PandaPong thanks, I hope I got it.

      @@PandaPong Thank you very much. I tend to use my arm and wrist only. Tried to do the waist and hip rotation don't think I'm doing it right and not in sync

    Get Mr. Gupta a better microphone and work on noise removal on his part. A little bit more editing to further highlight errors in the videos from the play. I really like the video. Keep up the good work and improve.

      @PandaPong  3 ปีที่แล้ว

  • @Blaxion
    @Blaxion 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    you wanna learn correct stroke? stop buying some carbon baldes and goes for gippy dead sheets with classic wood , even a cutboard would be good. What the point you would say me? YOU ARE SMART AND HUMAN ADAPTATION IS AWESOME, try to put the emhapsizes on weight transer and hitting the ball with your body (POWER COMES FROM STOMACH) also you shoulders should be parrallel to the table and you end being like a bow . I sse too often lazy people cheating and being already in one stance or another but they are losing body momentum. First stroke will be strong but at each of them they lose precision and power kinda easy too outplay.
