- The makes, misses, waves, and stories that happen in the back room of a weightlifting competition enhance the sport in a huge way. At the World Weightlifting Championships 2021 in Uzbekistan in the 81kg session, Karlos Nasar competed with Marin Robu and Mohammed Ehab in a spectacular session.

Seb and the WH team are keeping this sport alive. We are lucky to have you guys man
Man I wish Ehab was in shape for this competition like he was in 2018. Dude is a specimen. I love nasar's technique though.
Poor Ehab :(( I absolutely love watching his snatch, feels so powerful and intimidating. Sad that he wasn’t at his best here, but great from Bulgaria + Moldova. That Moldovans snatch is strange but well done to him for adapting to an issue and making it work so well.
Nasar looks like he's really at 100% for every one of his final lifts. It's so nice to see someone really laying it all on the line like that.
Karlos looks properly 30 by now
Yeah it's like he's been 17 17 years ago.
Like our lord Kyriakos Grizzly, Karlos has been training from birth.
Steroids are a hell of a drug
I'm not sure if all teenagers in Bulgarian would use steroids but it common to look older in younger generations when I look at them. Even girls look older than their age, not all are like that but it is common. Not that much probably but I must try to remember highschool.
Karlos at 17 is what I hope to look like at 25
He looks very intimidating
Loving all these competition videos, thanks for the content Seb
What a facinating sport weightlifting is. Being in my fifties and not doing anyweightllifting at all, I enjoy watching it. And with your films i even enjoy it more. I hope you”ll be able to make more backroom films. I am looking forward to it. 👌🏻
seb you are gold in my eyes. thank you so much, you bring the best content
Great job Seb and crew. Hopefully the IWF will realise how important your content is to the sport and let you film more in the back room 💪 keep up the good work 🏋️♂️🏋️♂️
This was the first W|H video I've ever watched. I fell in love.
1:10 pure magic
5 stars vídeo seb and crew 🔥🔥👊😁
Ein Genuss Karlos Nasar zuzusehen 👍💪
Stimmt und das im dem Alter
Absolutely love these videos!
Seb, now that the new weight categories have been confirmed for Paris, a fascinating topic to cover would be news/predictions on which categories the displaced athletes will be moving to.
I think the fridge from Sikastan would’ve made that last snatch
Is there any more in depth information about Robu Marin's ankle issue? All I could find is an interview where he mentioned a knee injury, nothing about his ankle...
That guy has the worst hip/ankle mobility in the world and still in the olympics daamn
1:40 Wow that turnover looked like it's missing a frame :-0
3:00 That one too.
Seb speeds it up lmfao
0:57 Post nut clarity hits hard
Start a gofundme for a IWF bribes fund, thats the only way to guaranteed official filming access
ehab must get massive headaches from throwing head every lift

Karlos Nasar
Any bulgarian like Nasar is capable, hes gonna only get stronger unless the dreaded WADA intervines. He's probably beaten it in training.
Also same rules apply to Robu even if his technique is a coaching, regardless of his tech, look at Nasar's knees? They'll both snatch higher than the record, per WADA allowance.
@@onguad he’s matched it at a Bulgarian National comp
@@paddygilmore711 and if their training is the same then he has beaten it in training no doubt
I'd love to see what bodyfat percentage these guys are at, they look almost as lean as distance runners but with way more muscle of course
Yes, definitely! Not quite as lean as they look (I suspect), on account of the "Jacked" nature of them fellas. Good day
Paris olympics 89 category. Karlos Nasar, Artem Akulov, Tian Tao, Li Dayin🔥 Meso is probably going up 102, Akbar and Ruslan are probably going down to 102🔥 Sohrab and Kianoush🤷♂️🤔 Andrei Aramnau is probably retiring after european championship😔
Sohrab I bet 102. He just hit 185+235. Guy looks big
@@TheSkatingreptile but is he training for the Olympics or maybe worlds or/and asians?! He is going to be almost 35 at olympics, can he maintain performance at that age.
@@benjamingrunberg7807 i bet he can. LU xiaojun was at 37 during Tokyo Olympics. So im sure he could
Nasar is vey good lifter but my favourite one is always Ehab after 81kg's King Lyu Xioujun❤️
First!
the new weight categories are so stupid - R.I.P (olympic) Weightlifters in 81kg class - at least Smasha doesn't care
I get that everyone is on something, but Karlos is 17 and looks like he's pushing 40. He is literally a child. That can't be ok.
There are 18 year olds that look 30+ plus even without drugs and a relatively healthy lifestyle.
People develop at different rates
If you think Nasar looks old don't look at Alireza Yousefi then.
If he's 17 he's clearly not a "literal child" wtf
@@jaivl1106 True, he's probably losing even more hair after what the judges did to him...
