When applying the CC textures i get this: To complete this operation, the MetaHuman textures must be present. You should verify that you have saved the character's skeletal mesh or applied the exported data via CC4's Export Head (with Target set to Mesh to MetaHuman).
My MetaHuman's results are absolutely nowhere near to what the character looks like in Character Creator 4. It applies textures successfully but it doesn't look nearly the same. Can you please do a full tutorial where you show how you actually imported the exported model from CC4 into UE5 and how you did the MetaHuman in the MetaHuman creator.
for the folks that are having a problem with Unreal hang when importing the iclone fbx... when you import the fbx select "fbx.file" vs. the default "all.files" in the explorer window, I guess this is a bug in Unreal?
There is no _Avatar_00 mentioned at 18:52 when using the Apply CC Textures. Everything else matched the tute. Therefore the body texture doesn't setup thus this doesn't work :(

Which teeth are those (DAZ, iclone or metahuman Creator), and if it is not metahuman, can you apply those to kola 8.1 ???? The reason is when applying metahuman animator into facial (especially teeth), it renders so real (and you can always customize teeth more further in metahuman creator.

Hi Solomon, isn't there any possibility to export from CC4 the head and the body in seperate from each other and then put them back together after the head turned into a metahuman head ? That way - we get metahuman head coupled with CC4 body (we can get the clothing). Is that possible ?

So you created a 26 minute long video about how to bring a CC4 character to UE5 as a metahuman, said a million times how great it is, and then you spent 10 minutes saying "oh it doesn't seem to load, sorry", and never attempted to actually finish the video? Wow.
I mean this in the best way possible. That looks really bad. The texture is overlaid on the same metahuman mesh, but the texture is meant for a different mesh. Feels like when you add the wrong normal map. Is going places, but until you can match geometry, this is not gonna look correct.

Thank you. The body mesh was not done in CC4, but the body textures are updated using the above workflow.

Currently not allowed by Epic Games. MetaHumans have to be used in the Unreal Engine only
