The older I get,the more find myself agreeing with these views!!.Especially regarding the buffets!..Why do we feel compelled to eat more then we would in a month,because we are "on holiday"?... Very funny series.. The Christmas one is hilarious.
I have never seen these Videos. After having spent almost 20 years in Caribbean resorts dealing with English Spanish and German operators and their ginormous groups of Travelers, Leisure travelers to be more specific, I found these hilarious and in many ways (more than 70%) absolutely true and brilliantly funny! Human behavior a funny thing!
I'm Portuguese, I know my country, and it's a mystery to me why foreigners pay to go to places like the Algarve, or eat at terrible "tourist restaurants" where they get charged enormously, for food no self respecting Portuguese would eat...

I think Michael Winner's great,he cracks me up!!He's such a snob but fair play to him,he's earned his money so he likes a bit of luxury,if you or i had his money we'd holiday in the same way
Love these videos, very funny, and no one could narrate it better than Geoffrey Palmer. However, that lady at 8:33 should not criticise anyone. Even without a swimsuit, just in plain clothes, she's scary.
no such thing as a "healthy glow"- tanning is damaged skin, can lead to skin cancer. Haha- I am planning to go to Iceland for trip in future but, despite common thought, it doesn't have to be sunny to be damaging
I am quite sure none of these commentators stay at these crap tourist hotels. Well, maybe Michael Winner. BTW, he was talking about himself when he was going on about the millionaire taking yogurt etc. from the breakfast bar to save buying lunch:)
TV gold, Geoffrey Palmer is perfect as narrator and I could listen to Don Warrington for hours, what a wonderful voice!

Well, I always give some money to the pool/beach personnel, so they save me the best spot and the sunbeds. Works wonderfully everywhere. :-)
