this so beautiful and complex that no one can probably do a cover of it. maybe not even you after you unplug all the cables. hehe. =) and then to look for the sweet spots again. there's no save button on the rack. hee hee. thank *YOU* and thank *YOU* for the inspiration.
Yeah no save button or preset. Part of what I enjoy the most about these kinds of instruments, you have to capture stuff in the moment or deal with the fact it will be different the next time you play it. Thanks for listening and for such kind words. Really means a lot.
☺️ Thank you 🙏 really means a lot to hear that. Especially the guitar tone complement. Having the strymon iridium has really got me reaching for my guitar way more. Being able to record nice sounding guitar, directly to an interface has been a game changer for me. Most guitar recording setups are not very small apartment friendly 😅. Anyways, thanks for the support as always.
@@FormsMusic i did NOT want to hear about how good the Iridium is. I've been wanting one for a while so your comments have not been helpful to my savings haha
Ah I’m sorry 😞 I actually sold my Digitakt and used that to grab the iridium. Strange swap maybe but like I said it’s definitely made a difference to how I’m making music at the moment.
Sorry To Use A Overused Thingy but..... OMG I am a guitar player that got stuck in regular patterns and ways... this is clearly the way out, now if only i had your talent .....
I similarly came from guitar playing and really struggle to get out of the same patterns and progressions I always go to….looping and chopping things up has definitely helped me a lot recently.
You're welcome! It's the nice part of social media, we get to talk about what we enjoy doing with other people who enjoy similar things. hope you have fun sampling and slicing that guitar.
😅 no worries, always happy to answer questions. But glad you found the info you were looking for. I mainly loop in the DAW “. Or at least my loops get initially looped in the DAW. After they are in Logic I sometimes tidy them up a bit and then export them to samplers in my modular setup.
@@FormsMusic Thanks So Much I use my Daw for loops I have yet to use a real modular set up I am experimenting with VCV Rack I very much like the idea of a real set up its a bit of a steep curve... Again thanks for chatting Really nice of you.
2 years after… and your videos are still amazing
Absolutely fantastic!

Magnifique! Such a beautiful peace, big fan of how it unravels. I am also in love with your guitar tone, so deep yet clear! Very nice one here.

Hello Again Quick Question If I May? Do You Loop Thr Guitars With A Pedal Or In A Daw
Best Regards
what brand are the patch cables?
These are by a company called ‘Polar Noise’ 👍
@@FormsMusic thnx! just found out they are based in the Netherlands, that's where I live. Never heard of this company.
Ah nice that’s convenient! Yes they recently relocated from the UK to the Netherlands.
@@FormsMusic Just ordered a bunch :). I see that these are shielded, I have issues with crackle & jitter once in a while. Let see if this helps.
Great! Hopefully you enjoy the cables. They are good folks to support 💛
