Gotthard Bergstrecke 2022- Panorama Express, SBB IC (Mova) und Südostbahn um Göschenen / Wassen

Seit Inbetriebnahme des Gotthard Basistunnels Erstfeld-Biasca im Jahr 2016 findet auf der Gotthard Bergstrecke nur noch ein überschaubarer Zugbetrieb mit Stadler Triebzügen "Traverso" der Südostbahn statt. Zusätzlich verkehrt einmal täglich in den Sommermonaten ein mit Re 4/4 bzw. Re 420 geführter Gotthard Panorama Express, bestehend aus 4 Panoramawagen und 2 EC Wagen.
An einigen Wochenenden finden zudem Sonderfahrten der SBB Historic Erstfeld statt.
Aufgrund des Bundes Pfadfinderlagers im Goms im Juli 2022 fand erstmals seit der Tunneleröffnung wieder ein umfangreicher Personenverkehr mit Inter City Zügen der SBB CFF FFS auf der alten Bergstrecke bis Göschenen statt. Dabei kamen Pendelzüge mit IC Einheitswagen sowie Re 460 zum Einsatz. Zu diesem Anlass wurden ebenfalls die Planzüge der Südostbahn im Abschnitt bis Göschenen durch einen zweiten Triebzug verstärkt.

I live in France b spent my vacations there from a very young age. from there I used to spend time watching the trains go round in the uput my home town is in Ticino and I have alwaysper loops of the Leventina, what a spectacle at night to see the illuminated trains coming and going in the mountains! unfortunately with the return of the forest this spectacle had ended up disappearing... there was always the possibility of getting off at the station, it was a great pleasure to watch the freight trains go by in the evening, to get out and to plunge back into the night... But since the opening of the base tunnel this pleasure has disappeared too, only the passenger service provided by the Sudostbahn remains, but for how long? The trains are always almost empty... How long will they be able to maintain this infrastructure for so little traffic?

The middle Coach is a 2nd class coach with windows that can be opened. The last coach is a regular 1st class coach
