"Smoke" embodies the ethereal nature of smoke through movements of seamless fluidity and a long fan that flows like wisps of vapor. Both the music and movements gracefully transition between intricate patterns, creating an illusion of smoke elegantly weaving through the air. The versatility of the performance is showcased through a blend of slow undulations and rapid bursts, mirroring the unpredictable yet alluring nature of smoke. Inspired by Yuzuru Hanyu's figure skating performance of "Seimei", the dance breathes life into the intangible.
