    I searched all over the damn place and couldn't find a bottom Firehouse mount for my Air 3, so this is awesome. I just ordered 2 lights, plus the top and bottom mounts--thanks for making these. They're the only ones I could find anywhere.

    I have a DJI MINI 4pro. I’m looking for mounts for a trip I have upcoming this coming Thursday. What is the best mounting style so I can see them? I don’t want them interfering with the obstacle avoidance system. Rear arms? Front arms? Or facing down? I just ordered ARC V PRO lights (2pack)

    Does the flashing of the light interfere with night time photograpy/videography?

      Under normal conditions you can't see the light from the strobes when mounted to the arms. There are 3 scenarios that you may be able to see it in your images:
      1. During mist and fog conditions - The strobe light can reflect off the water droplets in the air.
      2. If you are close to your subject, it's like shining a flashlight on your subject.
      3. If your props are in view (usually not a problem on the Air 3 and Mavic 3 Series) - If your props are in view the light can reflect off the bottom of the props.
      We sell thousands of strobe mounts every year for a variety of drone models and strobe light combinations and haven't had any issues.
      Hope that helps, Fly safe!

    Interesting video. I do have a few questions:
    Which light setup do you recommend for a Mini 4 Pro?
    Which ones only come with a remote control?
    Is there an official suggested “anti-collision” night light placement protocol by the FAA?
    Is there, or has there been any restrictions applied to color of lights being used on a drone from law enforcement agencies? In some cases in times past, I’ve had a convo with local law enforcement who stated there were LED color light restrictions for motorcycles, moving vehicles, etc, stipulating law enforcement light colors (red, blue, green, white, etc.) could NOT be used on private/personal moving vehicles. Any info on this subject?
    Thank you in advance for your time, consideration, and reply. 🇺🇸😎🇺🇸

      I would recommend the Firehouse Micro Pro on the DJI Mini 4 Pro. It is Firehouse's brightest strobe and it is smaller and lighter than the ARC V and ARC V Pro.
      The ARC V Pro and ARC XL Pro strobe lights are the only strobes that come with the remote.
      As far as mounting locations go, I'd recommend 1 front arm and 1 back arm mounted strobe. You can also mount one on the top if you wish.
      The FAA doesn't give guidance on where they should be placed, the color of the light. I would stay away from using red/blue and white/blue color combinations unless you are in law enforcement. White, Red and Green color combinations can be used as they are typical colors used on manned aircraft.
      You can find the Micro Pro strobe lights on our website here: bit.ly/fhmicropro
      and the Mini 4 Pro strobe mounts here: bit.ly/mini4micro
      Hope that helps! Fly safe!

      @@AerialPixel Thanks for your reply and the info.
      At the moment, the Micro Pro (multi-color) is showing out of stock. Also, the description does not indicate which color LED’s are included in the multi-colored version. Any sales or promos coming up with Labor Day around the corner? Any bundle deals (with or without mounts)? Thanks again in advance for your time.

    • @AerialPixel
      @AerialPixel  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes we are out of the Micro Pro Multi-Color. We have been stocking more of the Micro Pro White as they are the most popular and brighter than the Multi-Color version. If you want the Multi-Color you can order them straight from Firehouse as we may not get more stock of them for a few weeks. Firehouse also sells our mounts, they sometimes have bundles with them too. They don't stock our top mounts for the Mini 4 Pro, but they do stock the arm mounts.
      We don't offer bundles, we don't have as much pricing flexibility with the strobe lights as they do. We usually only have one sale a year on Black Friday.

    Hey Ryan, I'm about to order the vifly front and rear mounts and top mount for my dji mini 4 pro. I heard all 5 mounts with strobe lights installed add up to around 70-75 grams. Can I fly my mini 4 pro with all 5 installed or would they be too much weight added to the drone?

    • @AerialPixel
      @AerialPixel  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No it will be fine, we have customers flying 5 Firehouse Micro strobes fine and the Vifly is much lighter.

      We don't currently offer top and bottom mounts for the Vifly on the Mini 4 Pro, but we can easily make them. Right now we only offer front and back arm mounts for the Vifly strobes. I will reply back to you when they are ready for purchase, give us a few days for design and testing.

      We've added 2 options to the Mini 4 Pro Vifly strobe mounts for you. We now have a top mount and downward facing mounts that attach to the front arms. We did the downward facing option on the front arms because there isn't a good place to clip them to on the bottom, we've done this for several other drone models and it works well. You can see the new options on the product page here: bit.ly/mini4vifly

    Can you give a recommendation for which lights to get for the front, back and Top?
    Do you recommend that only one flashes as required or do you have them ALL flashing?
    Thank you!!!

    • @AerialPixel

      If you fly in the US the FAA requires a strobe that has 360 degree visibility that has a strobing effect that is visible from 3SM. Our top mount will meet that requirement, however that alone won't be as visible to you on the ground. One of the most popular configurations with my customers is minimum 1 front arm and 1 back arm mounted strobe, this will also meet the FAA requirement since the strobe lights have a 180 degree throw. All strobing lights give the best all around visibility and battery life is much longer. Where the always on feature if the strobe lights is used most for light painting.
      Hope this helps!

    Are there mounts for the Firehouse strobe on the Autel Robotics Evo II Pro Enterprise V3 (carbon fiber arms)?

    • @AerialPixel
      @AerialPixel  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure if they changed the arm size for the Enterprise version, I believe the profile is the same size as the standard Evo II just made of carbon fiber. If you have a set of calipers to measure the overall height and thickness of the arms I could confirm it for you. You can find our EVO II mounts here: bit.ly/evo2mounts Be sure to select the ARC V version.

      @@AerialPixel The arms are 7/8" high and 3/8" wide

    • @AerialPixel
      @AerialPixel  ปีที่แล้ว

      In the 3D printing world we use Metric (even though we are in the USA). The EVO II arms measure 20.0mm high and 12.2mm thick. Without really precise measurements down to fractions of a millimeter I couldn't tell you for sure if they would work. We use a caliper like these amzn.to/48eUlxz to do all our designing, if you happen to know someone that has a set you can borrow for a couple minutes I could custom make you a set.

    • @Diantane
      @Diantane ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AerialPixel 20.00mm is a tiny bit more than 3/4". 12.2mm is a tiny bit less than a half inch. So 3/8" and 7/8" is just about spot on. I'm going to buy 4 of them. If they don't fit, I may buy the regular Autel drone so they will - lol.

    • @Diantane
      @Diantane ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AerialPixel I received the mounts and they fit on the carbon fiber arms of the Autel EVO ii Enterprise (sort of), but not securely. The carbon fiber arms are not "square". The only way to use the mounts is if you somehow were to tighten them on the arms. Otherwise they would flop around. I would buy the additional mounts if you ever came out with ones that were made for the enterprise.
