Such exciting news! Re: longer projects, I wouldn’t mind if you wanted to split these videos into parts over a couple of weeks. Loepsie is doing this at the moment with a ball gown project and it has been fun to follow along at a slower pace.
Exciting to hear your news Janelle 😊. I’m very much looking forward to discovering Japan through your eyes. Can’t wait for your sewing tutorials too. I one day hope to be able to make your Pansy Dress 😀. All the best with everything
You are going to love it. We spent 3 months with the kids, 7.5 years ago, in America visiting family and friends. Daughter was doing year 12 through adult re-entry. Son was in year 11 but his student counselor took the lead in transferring him to online studies.
Such exciting news Janelle, am sure you will have an amazing time.......enjoy every moment of making your dream come true. Am looking forward to hearing all about it x
My son and daughter in law live and work teaching English in Japan. They have been their since 2014. They love living in Japan. So happy for you and Matt.
So excited about the "Sewing for Beginners" series! I bought a sewing machine and, with the help of a friend, made a pillowcase. But unsupervised, I am paralyzed! I have been watching your videos and living vicariously through your projects. Thank you!
Hello, I've been watching your videos for quite some time now, I really like them and your creations are so my style. I bought your patterns, but I haven't started because I'm a beginner and I don't know not follow the patterns and I'm afraid of wasting the beautiful fabrics I bought for these dresses. So I'm really happy to hear that you're going to make beginner videos. I miss the technique like making a parmenture, putting a zip, making pleats, setting up sleeves, making buttonholes, assembling the pattern pieces, making gathers, putting elastics, making the size of a skirt, making smocks etc. So a big thank you for the help you are going to bring us, I can't wait.
Soo jealous but excited for you. Japanese fashion rocks! Make sure you look into their vintage textiles and stitching techniques. Their dieing fabrics rocks as well. Japanese history is a worthwhile study. Enjoy your trip first, worry about us later. This is a once in a lifetime thing. Japan is worth it.
I’m so jealous! I have an adopted Japanese son who is coming to visit tomorrow. I’ve been brushing up on my Japanese food recipes for their visit. They live in the USA hoping for bilingual girls. 🥰 lots for you to prepare but you will be so happy once you settle in. Take your time and enjoy every minute!!
Having followed you since before you went full-time on YT, I can safely say that this is the best news for you and Matt!! It feels as if you are both following your dreams and fully investing in the things that make you feel whole. I'm delighted for you two
That's really big news! I hope that you take it easy while you're in Japan. Burnout is no joke. Maybe changing up the schedule, and perhaps even the content (travel vlog? eating in Japan vlog?) will refresh you in a way. Either way, I wish you and Matt the absolute best stay in Japan and I hope that your path there and back again is smooth and safe.
Wow!!!! How exciting! I'm in the US and have wanted to live in Scotland my whole entire adult life and if I had a chance I would jump out it so I am very excited to see someone else living out my dream and I will be living vicariously through you. 😂
Oh wow wishing you and Matt and awesome 2023. I'm feeling your energy and excitement of your trip to Japan. Can't wait for you to share! !! Remain blessed xxx
I’m very excited and happy for you having your dream of living in Japan. There is so much in craft, sewing, design and reusing materials there that I think you will enjoy. Enjoy 🤗🎉
So excited about your Japan journey and sewing for the beginners project! Honestly, I've discovered your channel lately and started to sew with you:) Now, I'm sewing the raffle skirt for beginners from your tutorial. Can't wait for more tutorials and lessons for beginners. Thank you!🩶
Ahhh I'm so excited for your beginners sewing videos! I've collected far too many bed sheets in preparation lol. I love seeing your knitting. You've inspired me to start a sweater. So jealous of you moving to Japan too. Can't wait to see what you get up to over there. You're my favourite on TH-cam. My boyfriend even knows to leave me alone as soon as he hears "Hi I'm Janelle" 😂 I think I've been following you from the start and I love how easy you make sewing seem. Keep doing what you're doing but take care of yourself. Lots of love from Wales x
Oh wow! Two such great announcements! So excited for you and look forward to your new video series! Glad you took time off for yourself, burnout is horrible. And please don’t feel pressurised to post just for us.
I buy linens from Potter & Co because they have such a great range. They do a great job explaining the different weights and finishes they stock so there are no nasty surprises when buying from them online. They also have some beautiful Japanese fabrics! I have been very happy with everything I’ve ordered from them which isn’t always the case when buying online - and they’re Australian!
Such exciting news Janelle - both Japan and your new series!! Anyone who has watched your behind the brand videos knows how hard you've been working these last few years, so take it easy on yourself before you go - enjoy this time of anticipation & excitement!! I will look forward to your videos whenever you post them, but will be happier knowing that you are enjoying your adventure to the fullest 😊. Your fans can always rewatch your old videos if we're missing you!! ❤️
Such exciting news! Sounds wonderful. Japanese fabrics and styles are so beautiful. I look forward to your sewing and other adventures in Japan. Best of luck to you both.
You know I am a bit obsessed with Japan , and this news makes me feel so happy, for and your new life, but for me also, to have the chance to see Japan through your eyes! 🎉🎉 Enjoy that experience!!!
@roseryapparel Janelle this account is phishing using your picture, i already send the alert to youtube but please block from the page if you can and bring attention to youtube for using your images as profile pic.
This is so exciting! Just enjoy your new adventure. You have such a lovely community here and surely everyone will encourage you to do the things in a way they not only work for you but in fact make you feel good. At least I do. And I will still look forward to every single video you post.
So excited for your time abroad! My husband and I are wrapping up a year in Spain having also dreamt of a short-ish time abroad (we’re US based). You will never regret it and I wish you & Matt nothing but joy!
I almost did the same thing from Paris and finally decide to move in the south of France. No regrets but I still love Japan and hope to go back there 🇯🇵♥️ I totally understand you and hope you'll enjoy your new Japanese life! So happy to follow you while you're there !
Oh janelle, how exciting! My daughter moved from the uk to tokyo and she loves it and doesnt want to come back! You are going to have so much fun, and the inspiration surrounding you will be immense I look forward to seeing your videos of your adventures. Btw im also looking forward to the beginners series, i havent been sewing very long and what i know i have learned from you, so a big hug and thank you. I will keep my fingers crossed that everything goes well for you and your husband its a big move, have fun! Xx
❤❤❤ Janelle, I’m so excited for your move to Japan and what you’ll bring us from there. We traveled around the world for three years and lived in the UK 3 times.. but didn’t get to Japan sadly.. it’ll be so amazing! I’m also really excited and looking forward to your sewing series.. I sew well but haven’t really made clothes other than a fully lined coat lol… and I have all your paper patterns haha.. time to start I reckon! Love the new fabrics, I’m going to check that store out. Thanks for sharing! ❤️🌸❤️🌸❤️🌸

Your move to Japan is so exciting! I'm travelling to Japan layer in the year (just for a couple of weeks; it'll be my third time there), but even though I'm going to get an in-person Japan fix, I'm still looking forward to experiencing it vicariously through you and this channel! That way you can continue to create content without feeling constrained to projects that can be done within a shorter time frame.
Have fun in Japan! I'm soooo excited for your beginners series. The intro looks amazing ! You did so well. If you are wanting to do bigger projects but feel restricted by the weekly time 'limit', I personally as a viewer would not mind waiting an extra week or so if you need, but otherwise if you wanted to upload every week still you could always split a project into multiple videos, making a part 1, part 2 etc. Who knows, it might even bring in some more subscribers who want to catch the next part of the video 🤷♀️. Goodluck! You're videos are great no matter what x
How exciting! I've never been to Japan and probably never will, but I was always fascinated by their culture and attention to detail in everything they do. I would love to see Japan through your lens. Excited about the sewing course too. Lots of people want to start, but don't where to begin. Good luck with both endeavours. Do what is good for you. We will still be here whenever you have time to upload.
Wow! That’s great. I wish you all the best in your adventure in Japan! You are truly amazing in what you have accomplished. I’m sure you’ll do just fine whatever you do. Enjoy yourself and don’t overdo it. Looking forward to your videos and seeing Japan through your eyes 👀. 👗🧵🪡🥰
So excited for Japan and your new sewing series!! Go easy on yourself - not need to burn yourself out to make more content. I love slow chill videos too - eg while someone knits with a cup of tea talking about life.
I'm so excited for you Janelle! Can't wait to see your adventures in Japan! The first dress I ever made that I could wear out of the house was the Rosa dress and I've used the bodice pieces a couple of times to rescue other patterns that just didn't work for me. I'll definitely be sharing your learn to sew videos to the people who tell me how much fun I'll have making their clothes... 😉
I’m so excited for everything you mentioned in this video! You always tell us how much you love Japan, and I had really enjoyed the vlogs you made when you visited, I’m sure you’ll have the best time and can’t wait to see all the fun adventures, and the creative and amazing content you’ll bring out! As for the beginner’s course I’m even more thrilled, I’ve been looking for a proper course for a really long time and I always learn and understand everything so well when it’s you that explains things! You already made my year 🥰 Please make sure you rest and don’t worry about following a strict uploading schedule, and if you want to make bigger projects that require more time I’m definitely excited about that as well! Whatever you’ll end up doing I’ll love 🥰 I’m sending your way lots of positive energy ❤️
I'm very excited for your japan trip, and I'm so very excited for your sewing for beginners videos! Thanks for all the work you put into these videos, even how you organize your space or popping around to shops is so fun to watch. Looking forward to future content whatever that may be!
Everything about this video is so exciting!!! When I first found one of your TH-cam videos I was very inspired by you to start sewing, I purchased one of your patterns and haven’t looked back since ! I too buy bed linens and tablecloths especially from the thrift stores you get so much great fabric for little cost. Best of luck in Japan, can’t wait to see the videos.
I have been watching your videos for years and have been so impressed seeing how your business has grown. You are truly an inspiration and I am so excited for you with this next chapter in your life. I have long admired Japanese aesthetic and I am so looking forward to seeing your content from Japan! Good luck with everything going forward!!!
What a fun new adventure you'll be starting! I'm excited for the beginner sewing series - I've been sewing for about 2 years but still feel like I have so much more to learn!
So excited for you! Hope the new environment brings all sorts of wonderful new inspiration. I'm really excited to see where your channel goes, and fully support your decision to commit to fewer uploads as a form of self-care and to allow space for different projects and change. If I may, I'd like to up-vote more complicated projects, including perhaps fitting pants and quilts!
Exciting times ahead.. Always love watching your videos how ever often you get to upload them.. Try not to overload yourself too much before you leave on your adventure, just enjoy the journey.. 💕
I'm so excited about the Sewing for Beginners series! I learned when I was a kid but I've also forgotten everything about it. The way you do your instructional videos is so ideal. Can't wait!
Very exciting about Japan! I lived there in Kyoto for 7 months and it was one of the best things I’ve ever done! You will love it as you know , I can see your passion and excitement and I’m so thrilled for you! Can’t wait to see your adventures and see all the amazing fabric and craft things you find in Tokyo and beyond!
Haya. I had a feeling you guys might go to Japan, really excited for you, you will have an incredible time 🤩please do not feel bad if you do not put a video out, we are all understanding 💙Congratulations on the launch of your 'sewing for beginners' 😀Loving the fabric you picked up 😍Thanku 'sew' much for sharing 🪡✂🧵🙂xx
"You made that? No way! I wish I could sew." If I had a dollar for every time I've heard that I would be a rich woman. I was lucky in that both my grandmothers were sewers so I grew up with it, but I am sad for people who weren't as fortunate. I am so happy that you are launching your new series. Sewing is attainable, rewarding, practical and creative. Kudos, Janelle!
That's so exciting! I can't wait to see what you get up too! Always so interesting to see fabric stores and fashion styles in different parts of the world! Thank you for always posting such inspiring content! Good luck with the move! ❤️
I am really excited about the beginner series as I am an absolute sewing beginner. I never visited Japan but I would really like to do so. I wish you a wonderful time there 🇯🇵🍀
Any plans to do a vlog where you're shopping in all the cool stores you talked about while you're in Japan? I would love to see!! Some vlogs in general about your experience there would be so cool!
Oh, I am so excited for you!! I cannot wait to see your Japan videos. I would love to visit there (& where you are from), but I don't see that happening. So I love videos from places I cannot be. Very excited!! About all your plans.
Very exciting and completely understand. I think all content creators feel the same. I watch knitter Kutovakika and sure she feels the same about regular content 🥰
Don't sell yourself short, the series could be a patreon or paid course. You put so much work and effort into providing quality content for youtube, on top of all you do with your patterns. Either way, people are going to love your new series and your time in Japan!
I discover you channel recently and I love your videos!! You inspired me to make my own wardrobe. I am a high school fine textiles student and I really wanted to make my own clothing items, very excited to learn from the beginners guide. Hope you have a great time in Japan!
I am excited for your future content, even, or especially, if it comes less frequently. You'll just be heightening the suspense for your audience. You do you, girl!
Japan!! What a wonderful announcement. Enjoy that exciting time of lead up and planning and don't forget to make time for dreaming and resting. I've travelled and stayed in Japan for about 3 months end of 2019 and have very fond memoris of my time there (and it was also such a hectic time in my life). Do you already know where you'll live? 🌟

Congratulations on all of your good news. I look forward to watching you as you embark on your adventures in Japan.
Go girl! Well deserved 🤗 sounds great and wish you all the best.
Wishing you and your husband a truly magical time as you explore, grow, fly and follow your dreams. I applaud you! ⭐️
Thanks Nancy! That really means a lot 🧡
What an adventure you embarking on…yes you’re right if you don’t do it now then when… huge good luck to you both x
So excited for Rosery Japan!!!!
Absolutely! Can’t wait to share the experience here on my channel x
I am so excited to hear about Japan! Can't wait to see what inspiration you come up with. Don't be scared. You will be fine.
Omg what an exciting adventure! Can't wait to follow your movements once you get to Japan 🤩
I discover you channel recently and I love your videos!! You inspired me to make my own wardrobe. I am a high school fine textiles student and I really wanted to make my own clothing items, very excited to learn from the beginners guide. Hope you have a great time in Japan!
How exciting to have such an adventure. I cant wait for your beginner's classes!
I'm so happy and excited for you! Do go to Nippori Fabric Town! So so many fabrics and patterns! Hope you'll have a blast there
I’ve been to Japan twice and both times I didn’t have time for Nippori so I cannot wait to go!!
@@RoseryApparel yeay! I had a blast! Please do a vlog while you're there 😍😍😍
Change is good! Best of luck! Enjoy😊
