Yo these are my literal thoughts. I always said they should've had her still dressed as a stewardess and have her find those clothes in a locker or something from the crash.
@@keshiakat I can see that concept working. Like at the start of the mission, she needs to find the winter clothing before she freezes to death, like her health starts to drain until you equip it, or instead of the health drain, her aim could be way off, because of shivering from the cold, or if the developer is a total asshole, they could implement both at the same time.
Fun fact about the game. In A51, if you interupt Jonathan and escape with the bike instead of the shuttle, he can later be found in CI as one of the defenders.

Couple of things that jumped out at me when watching/listening... 1) the main musical motif is very similar to Blade Runner's end credits 2) the skedar death noises reminded me of It Began In Afrika by the Chemical Brothers, probably same sample library Thanks for uploading this, it was very nostalgic 🙏
It does! The devs were inspired by Blade Runner on many parts of this game. The first level showing the full moon behind the tower is part of that, inspired by the scene where Deckard meets Rachael - angled buildings and everything. As for the Skedar noises I'm not sure, but it's definitely possible as most if not all sounds come from different libraries.

My first ever fps game where it all began Perfect Dark was perfect. Thank you to the homie that gave me the console and a bunch of games including Duke Nuke em and this one 🙏🏾
This is still the best FPS, as far as I can tell. Co-op, counter-op, endless options, modes, weapon selects, etc in the multiplayer, crazy story (aliens, government conspiracies), awesome music with real effort put into (a track in 5/4 time, another track in 15/8 -- all great music throughout), awesome characters, level design depth (can be straight forward if you want, but plenty to explore -- hidden cheese, secret locations), unique CHALLENGES, different perspectives on different difficulties for some levels, affecting later levels with actions done in previous levels, the really amazing difficulties (for those who want to play casually, to those who are masochists), the funny easter eggs throughout (I once shot a guard, and the guard next to him said "I never liked him much anyway"), the innovation in the weapon and world design. Even the mystery of the Chicago ghost adds to this game's awesomeness. There's no other FPS that has this much effort put into it. This is a one of a kind game. The peak of its kind.

@@RyzenZegend yeah the guys at Rareware really created an incredible and Uber creative game that was so well thought out. It’s amazing what they came up with but hearing about how the team members worked 80 hour work weeks for 2 years and 7 months really shows with how this game is bulging at the seams with creativity.
The greatest game ever made, deserves a full remake
Yesssssssssss
Imagine the graphics then
I have faith the new Perfect Dark for Series X will be really good.
@@soundwave513 me too but I would love it even more if they add the remake of the original in a package, I would gladly play 100 bucks lol
Technically amazing, but I prefer the bond IP
This game was so good. I mastered GoldenEye and then played this. The simple sound of picking ammo up, reloading and shooting was so satisfying.
The K7 Avenger has always been my favorite sounding firearm in a game. It’s so damn meaty and aggressive
This brings me back to my childhood man! Great job running through it like a boss!
Same here bro.
INSTANT goosebumps hearing that first song. Going down memory lane with your GoldenEye and Perfect Dark videos
My favorite game of all time. So underrated and so ahead of it's time.
Perfect Dark is simply in the top 5 best games ever made. Not nostalgia. Just best games ever.
Well, 20 years later I have my own cleaning bot at least. Still waiting on the flying taxis.
1:05:40 Joanna punches guy in the face.
Response: Ugh, I'm dying!!!
How am I still not sick of this game or it’s soundtrack 20+ years later

It took my almost 20 years, but i finally beat Perfect dark… on Agent. Granted, the problem was that we were playing in Grandma’s house with a massive glare on the TV, and my brother too the n64, but I did it finally on XBLA.
How did I grow up with N64 and goldeneye and never play this before. This game looks amazing!
Watching your playthroughs is pure joy... Please go on. It's so satisfying to see someone play these gems from my youth with that perfection.
This is such a nostalgia trip for me. I spent so many hours on this with my long lost friend Ross.
"Just try it, you Scandinavian freak!" Always loved how oddly descriptive that ridiculous insult was. Also could never figure out how Dark got winter clothes for that mission while almost dying in a crash and dressed like a stewardess.
@@kylemurphy597 see now that would be e even more impressive for game play if they would have implemented that.
The cutscenes were filled with such ridiculous dialogue and weird animations. I love it.
I love that cameo scene with him and Mr Blonde
No cap, watching you play these games I played like 20 years ago with such skill is trippy as fuck man, this is pretty cool
This is not just only a master piece of gameplay, it's also about the CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESEEEEEEEEEE
This game was and remains one of the great masterpieces of gaming history
No, it was not. It`s a mindless action crime.
wow this game was amazing back in the day, this game, goldeneye and the zelda games truly made owning a n64 worth it 10000%.
Fun fact about the game. In A51, if you interupt Jonathan and escape with the bike instead of the shuttle, he can later be found in CI as one of the defenders.
One thing I like about your playthroughs is that you don't waste time looking at everything in the environment or trying to make stupid cinematic sequences.
Get in, kill anything in your way, and complete the objectives. Straight and to the point.
Pelagic II was my absolute favorite level. The sheer amount of baddies to mow down and pump bullets into was so satisfying
Not to mention the music in that level is so futuristic
Thank you for this, This game is so amazing and I wish it was more accessible. The soundtrack and settings just put my mind at ease.
This is one of the best multiplayer games ever made. If you were alive in that era you would understand.
I've been playing this game for 23 years. It never gets old. I love the combat simulator. I used to play it with my friends a lot. I played some Perfect Dark this morning. It's always fun replaying old missions and finding the cheese.
Where can u find it??
@@HipHop-1993 the cheese? Different hidden areas of the game

great job! would never be able to play an entire game without damage!
Just watching the way you play in Perfect mode makes me want to play this all over again, solid play.
This had to be one of the most satisfying longplays ive seen in a long time. Thanks.
I remember playing this game everyday with my older brother RIP, these were great memories brings me back. Thanks
May these memories live forever.
It's crazy that you showed a lot of stuff that I missed when I had this game. Damn. You're good!
I played the shit out of this game when I came out, but I clearly never played as much as you. It's crazy to me that you can learn exactly where the enemy's head will be before the door opens.
I enjoyed watching this more than playing it myself.
Thank you for posting this. I this brings back so many memories. This was one of my all time top ten.
FF7
TMNT (snes)
Grand Tourismo (ps)

The Last of us 1-2
Perfect Dark
Plants vs Zombies GW2

Fallout 4
It's so satisfying to see you playing, every headshot makes me smile =)
Wow this is such a time warp. I played this sooooo much in highschool. It really is a gem to this day. The way the characters react to getting shot still feels..... satisfying. What game today does this where you can shoot someone in the leg and they react and you can shoot guns out if their hands. Idk but thank you so much for this playthrough. Killer job
Red dead redemption 2. There's your answer for the most part
@@angelosterkel9251 Good point, haven't played it yet but it looks amazing. The first 2 red dead games i played a ton. (Yes there was one before redemption lol) im just old.
What a great game! With tons of replayabilty!
I used to love switching on the lights during 'extraction' and blinding De Vries' bodyguards before they could get a single shot in
For me the best game from N64, and its multiplayer is way better that many modern games.
So nostalgic! I played this game crazily when I was 11 or 12. I came here because of Nintendo revealed this legendary game in NSO 64!! I'm so hype!!
You are literally what dark sims can’t defeat in combat simulator!
I felt your pain when you missed your psychosis gun shot on Maian SOS and when Elvis walked into the proximity mine in deep sea!
3:54 he opened the locked door looking through the wall!?
17:49 i didn't know about this!
19:39 i love how you become the undercover agent if you play on perfect difficulty.
28:39 i never did figure out how to get in here consistently. it was locked often. with the NPCs being the only way to open it!
Fantastic playthough! you must have played this a lot! was a nostalgia rush in a reasonable amount of time! thank you for this!
Massive hit of nostalgia, cheers for the upload!
perfect dark reboot coming so watching this to feel hype
That frame rate is so beautiful & who ever is playing this is amazing!
Great gameplay the weapons in Perfect Dark are awesome! Love the guard’s comments and I always loved the music and level designs.
You really take the perfect part seriously. Nice run.
this is when N64 was beating everyone! long time ago i love and miss this game. i played the custom matches alot with bots vs bots etc.....
this game is absolutely stunning in 4k! and you are a f*cking LEGEND at playing it…
Perfect Dark Zero and Perfect Dark are two of my all-time favorite games. Both of them were the very best First-Person Shooters at the time they were released. I hope Rare releases another Perfect Dark game for Xbox Series S/X.
In my opinion I think this game still has some of the best weapons and secondary weapon features ever to come. Especially the weapon animations are still amazing.
Loved re-watching this. I was mid 20’s when this came out and was very adept at it. Watching you you reminds me of how it was done.
Man, this is awesome.
This makes me wanna play Perfect Dark again.
But in 4K. 🤣
Play it on Xbox.
@@pneuma7183 I got the Xbox version it’s exactly like I remember it on the N64
This brings back so many memories!!
Whoa! This game it's awesome, Graslu00! I never played it! Wonderful playthrough! Very good! Congrats, friend!
Thank you for the upload. I really forgot how Rare made sound and music such a big part of Perfect Dark.
Couple of things that jumped out at me when watching/listening...
1) the main musical motif is very similar to Blade Runner's end credits
2) the skedar death noises reminded me of It Began In Afrika by the Chemical Brothers, probably same sample library
Thanks for uploading this, it was very nostalgic 🙏
It does! The devs were inspired by Blade Runner on many parts of this game. The first level showing the full moon behind the tower is part of that, inspired by the scene where Deckard meets Rachael - angled buildings and everything.
As for the Skedar noises I'm not sure, but it's definitely possible as most if not all sounds come from different libraries.
i dont think ive ever seen a game age so well. every game in the Boomer Shooter genre essentially trying to replicate the feeling of playing this game 20+ years later
Stealing the DY357-LX from Trent and using it blow up the ship in crash site combined with using the mines to get the clone is genius.
That was perfectly done without taking hits. You are a Goddess in this.
