Great tips, I passed first time with 3 minors as an older leaner last year. My instructor was saying he believed in me and I could pass if I could control my nerves and I did, I had a session of hypnotherapy for driving confidence and it definitely helped me. I didn’t tell anyone my test date apart from my instructor and my 88 year old neighbour as he’d paid for my test and I wanted someone rooting for me on the day. Friends and neighbours knew it was imminent as I was having loads of extra lessons. I was lucky to get a brilliant examiner who went out of his way to be friendly and to put me at ease.
When you decide to learn to drive be prepared to open your chequebook only people knew about my driving test was people who had to know my parents, who live with me and I can’t keep stuff like that from them my work manger who had to give me the time off for the test and driving instructor knew the test date I also recommend driving like a chauffeur think you are the examiners chauffeur and you got to drive him or her about etc

I personally did 2 lessons a week, I wouldn’t recommend any less than one a week. But as stated in the video, having faith will get you very far, you’ve got this by the grace of God!
Completely understand the first 30 secs, I was in the same boat😂😂 I’ve always been crap in exams because, I always get in my own head (I’m 25 now). I passed 2nd time last Friday. 1st exam was bin day around the test centre and got 1 serious for my first pull up in the left for clipping the curb 😂 My advice is pretend your taking your mate back home, 99% of the examiners are nice and like you said try to not to get into your head too much, nerves are natural just try to keep positive thoughts in your head. I got the tell me question wrong and I still only had 3 minors. Edit: Also I had an examiner examining him 2nd time so, had 2 in the car. Thank god I had reverse on the right hand side of the road 🤣🤣

I failed first time with 0 minors and 1 major/dangerous 😂. Did the full test, in fact it was 45-50 mins long due to some traffic near the end. The fault wasn’t exactly my fault as the driver who resulted in my fault was speeding way over the speed limit. Passed 2nd time with 1 minor and the examiner called it “flawless” as the minor was readjusting my reverse bay.
Aside from what I’ve said in the video, don’t rush anything whilst you’re driving, just remember that nobody is in a rush to get anywhere. For example if you’re at a roundabout, just stay until you actually see a safe gap and don’t feel pressured to move off if you don’t feel comfortable

No worries, it does depend on the driving instructor some have the contacts and knowledge, some don't want any part of the sourcing of tests.
My driving test is in 2 hours. Wish me luck!
