As much as I love the friendship that ullmark and swayman have and how amazing of a duo they are, it wouldn't make sense to keep ullmark and I hope they do

We have a few players that does not contribute much to the team. not gonna say which 3 players. but these 3 can be traded instead of 1 fantastic goalie that contribue so much. instead of getting a new goalie that wil not live up to Omark level. as we have 3ish players than does not do anything. why not trade them instead and get 1 really good center and 2mediocre players that make a point every 2-3 games, atleast they would do more than some that we have now. and can also take up one from Providence. Don´t sell Omark when its others that doesnt do any points.
He certainly handles his game 5 business better.
This playoffs run is making me even more pissed off at Monty. Last year, this beat was sitting on the goddamn bench while an injured Ullmark was kept in net. If Monty had put Swayman in for game 5, we would have won the Stanley cup last year. Instead, one of the best teams in history was wasted because the coach is a fool. I'll never let this go for the rest of my life. I will always see a failure when I see Montgomery, unless of course, we win the cup this year. Otherwise, I would rather see him fired.
It is best for Ullmark and Boston to part ways. It's sad and I will cry to see him go, but this is a tough business. But, at least for the playoffs now, if Swayman gets hurt or goes on a bad slump, we have the freaking 2023 Selkie winner on the bench as backup. LOL... what a freaking nutty situation. When Sway struggled this season, Ullmark came in and played very well for us. We may have even missed the playoffs without Ullmark this year.

If the bruins somehow come out on top with the cup, it would be a miracle story. The bruins need to find a top center at any cost. Bruins have the turtle build right now.

Ullmark and the Bruins are both better off if he goes to the team he wants. Swayman has been on fire so it's good timing to move a huge asset in Ullmark to fill the holes like Paul discussed.
My thoughts, listen very carefully. NO! Omark stays. Don´t break something dood. 2 top goalies is better than 1. Not letting in many goals is important. if we have 2 goalies that stop everything. then its all good. I am sure Zacha and Coyle will soon come out of their down swing. We have offensive too, just not lately. Having Sway and Omark taking turns in regular season is good, keeps them more healthy. We can manage by keeping them. Sometimes things other than money has value.
So what happens when Swayman gets injured. Who will be able to step up into that position. Linus Ullmark is an excellent goalie and in my opinion he was screwed out of that position this time around.
There's a shortage of solid goaltenders in the league, it would be stupid not to trade ullmark right now. Could easily get a top 6 center for him that could be signed long term with all the cap space the bruins get next season. Also, Bussi looks better than some teams starters already, no reason to have two elite tendies when we could trade one and still have a vezina caliber starter with a solid backup.
Problem is that Ullmark has shown all indications that he’s gonna do everything in his power to prevent a trade and with his NTC he’ll probably use his NTC to use it on likely trade partners.
Could get a haul for him might be worth it
To be honest, I would have traded Ullmark before the "trade deadline". I believe that the Bruins tried...but Ullmark blocked it (trade with the LA Kings, IIRC).
Remember that this year was *supposed* to be a "rebuilding" year.
That said, the "goalie, belly, celly" is one of my MOST favorite things in the NHL
Ummm.... bruh we tried to trade Ullmark for a forward this year already. Where have you been?? Ullmark has a NTC on his contract. You can't trade him against his will. He did not want to leave Boston. End of the story.

I'd say about halfway through the season it was becoming apparent Ullmark is becoming more expendable. Trade him for a center.
As much as he's done well.. Geekie is not a top 6... Zacha isn't a top 6... Coyle is the best one we have and i'd put him more a 2C than a 1C.

I’d love to have Ulmark in Colorado, but they can’t afford him, they’ll hang onto Georgiev for the last year of his contract and see how he does while giving Annunen more games to prove he belongs in the NHL. They’ll make a trade deadline move on goalie if anything. They have like 11 contracts to deal with resigning in the off season including figuring out Nichushkin suspension situation and Landeskog’s large contract, they’re gonna want to secure Middlestadt and possibly retain Drouin. They’ll likely move on from Cogliano and Johnson so they’ll have to either take risk on many young guys from the eagles or renew/pick up many new guys in free agency.
