  • Who's the guy that's supposed to lead the Oklahoma Sooners back to the College Football Playoffs in 2024 and beyond? The guy that is supposed to succeed OU legends like Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, Jalen Hurts, and more. His name is Jackson Arnold, a 5-star class of 2023 QB prospect from the state of Texas. Coach Brent Venables is giving him the task of leading Oklahoma through a problematic SEC schedule. Sooner fans are saying that Arnold has game-changing Heisman Trophy potential. To fully understand Jackson Arnold, we must look at his whole story. Let me know your predictions in the comments.

    Love hearing this, at OU rn loving JA, but I also went to Westlake and got to see his entire high school career with my brother working with Guyer his senior year. It was a great game for him to be thrown into his freshman year because it made him who he is today. I know because I was a part of it, but the Westlake defense was one of the greatest in high school football history.

    Yes, he did go up against the good Arizona defense that also didn’t have any opt out. There were zero opt out on the entire roster for the Arizona Wildcats Oklahoma had several opt out not to mention that they did that Team did have to do some more work because they had two losses on the season.

    As a die hard Oklahoma fan, i have very high hopes for this upcoming season but i don't expect it to be a walk in the park. Oklahoma has been a top big 12 team for a long time and after last season where they fought hard and beat Alabama, there is no doubt in my mind that they belong in the SEC. Looking forward to see what Coach Venables is going to do with our sooner football program in the upcoming seasons.

      @bruce-hq9ki 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@westinclinton21 yeah, Oklahoma is good in multiple sports. basketball, football, baseball, and of course softball. the last time Bama and Oklahoma met was in men's basketball where Oklahoma won 69 - 93. If you want to ignore all that and speak of just football and football only, Oklahoma has won 3 games and Alabama has won one singular game in the last 25 years. It is going to be an interesting year on both sides, especially with the sooners joining the SEC and bama losing Nick Saban. At the end of the day, both schools have great sports programs and there is no doubt that they both deserve to be in the Southeastern Conference.

    I’m afraid nil will kill college athletics. I’ve grown up an ou fan who came to respecting Texas and our rivalry. I watched before nil when the wins felt earned. Historically and recently the rivalry has been close for almost 100 years which is why it’s so popular. But, I feel with the move to the SEC and the nil coming into its own, It could be the perfect storm to knock down a historically good team like ou down a peg. All bc the small market affect. The wins in the RRR ‘tween ou n Tex have major implications for territory over recruits. If ou simply can’t compete with Texas with nil money they are already losing the recruit before the rivalry game is even played. Along with taking perineal L’s could drop us from top tier to B tier sec team. Missouri level hopefully, but ideally better than Vanderbilt on any given year. This could be catastrophic for ou athletics as a whole due to football being so important. We’ll see what happens, but with watching fsu implode and what happened to their qb, got me thinking about Arnold and our current situation. That’s why I watched this video. Good content man, keep it up.

      The SEC has 2/3 good teams and that’s it. With the addition of OU/Texas, now there’s 3/4. Of course anything can happen, that’s why the games played.
